When visiting my aunt I always find the staff very caring and kind. The home always has a nice atmosphere and is always very clean. I am always offered a drink and snack. My aunt always says she is happy and settled and that gives our family peace of mind. All the staff do an amazing job and should be very proud of themselves.

Since my Dad came into the home he has transformed (for the better). He is well looked after, well fed and is far better off in this environment. Not only is he being well cared for but we, as a family, have peace of mind.

The care given to the residents of the home is of a very high standard. The staff are welcoming, very friendly and always available to help with whatever is asked of them. They are very professional in their approach and treat the resident with respect. They are extremely kind, compassionate and caring. An excellent team to be proud of. I would advise anyone to place a loved one in their care if needed.

My wife resided in Ashton Grange from September 2016 - January 2018. She settled in straight away. The staff made her feel at home as soon as she went through the door. Her needs were met and the kindness and attention from all the staff was "Top Draw" although she was immobile she was never just left in her room. They made sure my wife had the company of the other residents. As a family, we also gained another family "The entire staff" it was sad that my wife required nursing care and had to leave. HC-One should be proud to have such a crew at Ashton Place.

My father-in-law has been in this home for over 4 years and during this time, he has been well cared for by all the staff who are very friendly, not only to him but to all visitors to the home. My father-in-law enjoyed all his meals which I must say were well presented.

Our family has been very happy with the care my father received during his stay. At all times, staff were available to reassure us, nothing was too much trouble. The food and accommodation we couldn't fault, it was altogether a very positive experience under very sad circumstances (dementia).

Thank you all so much.

Review from Paul (Son of Resident) published on 12 December 2017 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My Dad was a resident of Ashton Grange for just over three years until his passing last week (6th December 2017).

During his time in care, suffering from dementia, he received excellent care from the lovely staff at the home, giving us that much-needed reassurance that is so crucial when leaving a loved ones care in another's hands.

Speaking for the family, we have no reservations whatsoever recommending Ashton Grange to those looking for a loving, caring environment for a loved one. From the beginning of my Dads care to the end, staff were always present, willing and more than able to meet his needs.

Thank you so much.
