The staff are exceptional and provide me with the comfort that Mum is being exceptionally well looked after.
Whenever I visit, all staff are really welcoming and without prompting or checking notes can give me an excellent summary of how Mum's faring along with which in-house activities she's been attending.
Mum's ensuite room was completely refurbished before she arrived and the whole home is really well-appointed with top-class facilities and impressive catering. Having visited numerous other homes, I couldn't be more impressed with the quality and personal attention offered at Ty Porth.
Hi James, thank you so much for sharing such a lovely review! It is a pleasure to see that you are happy with the care that mam receives here at Ty Porth and it is great to see that mam has settled in well. You know where we are if you ever need anything and I will ensure to share your kind comments with the team! We look forward to seeing you soon, take care.
The staff couldn't have done more to welcome my Dad. Everyone we met was happy and positive. Nothing was a problem.
He has adjusted well joining in activities and eating well. He is happy and says the staff treat him with respect and dignity. He feels like he still has control over his life and can make his own decisions.
Every day I visit Dad he is happy and talks about something that has happened. Classes he has tried, entertainers and even lamas that have visited.
We need not have gone through all that worry and I can honestly say I am more than happy that my dad is living in the best place for him and he is receiving all the support he needs. Peace of mind at last.
Hello, Thank you so much for the kind review, I will ensure that I share your kind words with the wider team. I am so glad that you are pleased with the care that Dad receives and that he has settled well at Ty Porth Care Home. We look forward to seeing you soon, take care.
Ty Porth Care Home is probably the best care home I have ever come across. The staff are exceptional and they made the whole process run smoothly when I had to make the difficult decision to move my Grandmother into a home. The communication is fantastic and I am very happy that my Nan is being well looked after and is happy.
Thank you so much for your kind words and your outstanding review, it is appreciated and I will share your comments with the team. I am glad that you are happy with the care that nan receives whilst here with us at Ty Porth Care Home. It is a pleasure to have nan here with us! We look forward to seeing you soon, take care.
Was always worried about choosing a care home for my elderly aunt but Ty Porth was my first choice and luckily that's what we had! The staff are absolutely amazing, from walking through the front door to walking through corridors everyone is so happy, chatty, friendly and polite and goes above and beyond for everyone, my auntie has settled very well there and gets on with all the staff. I couldn't wish for a nicer place for my auntie to spend the rest of her days, a few of the girls on floor two are just the best, one of the nurses is so friendly and can't thank them enough for all they do! Keep up the good work girls, a massive thank you from myself and my family, you all deserve 100 stars.
Hi Kelly, Thank you so much for such a lovely review! I will ensure to share your kind comments with the team. We are so pleased to see how well your aunt has settled. We look forward to seeing you in the home soon, take care!
I was recommended Ty Porth Care Home by friends who had loved ones residing there and was given glowing reports so it was easy for me to choose this care home for my aunt. Since residing at Ty Porth my aunt has received excellent care and attention to her needs, which is a comfort to me knowing she is being well cared for.
Hi Peter, Thank you so much for your kind words, I will ensure to share your comments with the team. I am glad to see that you are happy with your aunt's care and that she is settling well. We look forward to seeing you soon, please take care.
We are very pleased with the care my mother is receiving at Ty Porth care home. The staff are friendly and supportive. We are kept informed of how my mother is getting along on a regular basis. The food is excellent. Her room is spacious and comfortable.
Hello, thank you so much for sharing your kind words and positive review. I will ensure to share your kind words with the team. We look forward to seeing you soon, please do take care.
I live in Canada, which made it more difficult for me when looking for a home for my mum as I needed to know that I had made the right choice from the outset. It was essential that the home not only provided the care mum required but also excellent communication between the family and the home. Had a bright airy room, a friendly, inviting atmosphere and of course, wonderful caring staff, from both the nursing side and the administrative side. Ty Porth certainly provides the care mum needs and also the peace of mind I need.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for leaving a 5 star review! We are so happy to hear that you are happy with everything here at Ty Porth. I will share your kind words with the team. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit! Take care.
Since our mother has been in residence at Ty Porth she has been shown nothing but wonderful care and excellent nursing skills shown by all carers and nursing staff. Also how your domestic staff have been able to keep her room clean and tidy, and how everyone has become very friendly with her, and not only my mother but all the rest of the family which really showed when Ty Porth's management laid on a wonderful party to celebrate her 100th birthday there with a wonderful spread of savouries, pastries and confectionaries, laid on for her guests, and decorations wonderfully arranged around the cafe area. It was also lovely to see all the staff coming to wish my mother happy birthday throughout the day, a truly marvellous gesture by all Ty Porth staff.
Thank you for such a wonderful review! It was a pleasure to host and share mams birthday with her and your family! I will be sure to pass your kind words onto the team. We will look forward to seeing you soon. Kind regards, Leah.

I cannot speak highly enough of Hallmark Ty Porth. From the moment my mum was to become a resident to the present day, Ty Porth has been in continued communication with me and made the whole process straightforward and painless which has been much appreciated. The staff always have a smile on their face, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the food along with the varied choices on offer is excellent. It is a huge weight off my mind and that of the rest of the family knowing my mum is being cared for exceptionally well and is in a safe and happy environment. A huge thank you to all of the staff at Ty Porth.

My wife is here at Ty Porth and has been for six years. I would like to commend all the staff as they go over and above their normal duties with the residents and their families. I also like the thought that I have access at any time so it shows that there is nothing to hide, which I appreciate.

I don't feel like a visitor! It's so homely. Staff are always friendly and ready to chat. Also, during December the extra effort that's made to organise activities throughout the month is amazing.

Once again a full programme of events at Hallmark Ty Porth for the Christmas period. The enthusiastic participation of the staff and encouragement of the residents to join in whatever small way create a real atmosphere of joy at this time of year. Thanks once again everyone at Ty Porth.

My mum suffers from dementia and the staff at the home are really good with her. They ensure she has the opportunity to join in with things that she can do, like taking her to see the singers that visit the home. They also help her with feeding and personal care she can no longer manage herself. They talk to her and not at her, involving her as much as possible.
Thank you for sharing your kind feedback. It is great to see Mum involved in activities.
I will ensure to share your feedback with the team.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Kind regards, Leah Howells.
The staff accommodate all my mother's needs and wishes and communicate well with us as a family. No complaints from us!

Mum has only recently moved to Ty Porth Care Home and has settled in well. She has been welcomed and looked after by every member of staff and feels comfortable and content. I have been kept fully informed and up to date with any queries we have had and nothing has been too much trouble. Mum was apprehensive about making a move to Ty Porth but these have alleyed.
I am fully assured that she is safe and happy environment and being extremely well looked after.
Take care.
My mother-in-law and father-in-law are both at Ty Porth. they are both really well looked after. The home provides excellent activities and make sure they are both included. The staff are all very approachable from manager to carer with all in between.
Take care, and we will see you soon.
