My wife is now in the last stages of Alzheimer's disease and needs a lot of attention. But the staff at Silk Court have been amazingly caring towards my wife, treating her with kindness and patience. I am always kept very well informed of my wife's care. I visit the home often and at various times but I am always made welcome and feel I am never in the way. I don't know about activities as my poor wife is now no longer able to participate.

My brother has recently been a resident at Silk Court and so far can only give praise for the staff's care and dedicated support given to my brother. The staff in my opinion are kind, patient and very understanding to both the residents and the family. They have taken the time and effort to answer any questions we have had. Also, there are high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They are well organised with regular meal times, menus and routines. The outdoor space is secure but well-kept and has a cheerful outlook. We attended a BBQ in summer with excellent food, singers and fun. My brother has settled and feels very comfortable and content. Thank you Silk Court.

Since my mother entered the care home, over 2 years ago. I have always found every member of staff to be exemplary. Without exception, the staff are kind, courteous and always caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Silk Court to anyone.

I am so pleased my brother was offered a room at Silk Court. All the staff, nurses and carers do an amazing job.
Since August 24 when my brother was admitted he has come on leaps and bounds. He lived alone, went wandering around London and we became very concerned for his welfare. But now he's made lots of friends and seems to be enjoying his time at the care home.

I would like to thank the staff for all their time and kindness in taking care of my brother.

My aunt has been a resident for almost 6 weeks now and all staff have been extremely kind, caring and welcoming from the very first day. She's gone from living alone to having tonnes of company and all the support she needs, we've seen so much improvement in her mental and emotional well-being. Every time I visit the staff are always friendly and cheerful. Overall very impressed and look forward to seeing all the future improvements.

My mum has been a resident at Silk Court for over 6 months now and so far myself and my family have been pleased with her care. The home and Mum's room are always clean and well-presented. There are activities for residents during the week; Mum particularly enjoys the 'mother and baby mornings' and the weekly mass. Mealtimes are also well handled and the food is very good. There are several of the caring staff who are fantastic with Mum; I've real admiration for them as they have one of the toughest jobs out there. My one gripe would be that it's often more difficult to gain entry to the home on weekends and bank holidays when there are fewer staff around. There are certainly good days and bad days for Mum but, as we all know, that's just the nature of dementia.

My mother has come on leaps and bounds since being cared for at Silk Court. I believe this has enriched and prolonged her life and has improved her quality of life.
Caring for relatives and having to work for a living has limitations. Places like Silk Court are invaluable for the care they give.
My mum has responded so well since coming to Silk Court.

I am extremely grateful for all that the staff do and for the care and kindness shown.

My mother-in-law has been in Silk Court since March and we were so worried about moving her in there but within a few weeks it was obvious it was the right decision for her, she has friends and we feel she is safe and she is really well looked after. The staff have been amazing I don’t know all their names yet but there are two ladies who always seem to be there when we visit and they are just so friendly and reassuring all the time.

Excellent security access and exit. Home very clean and tidy. Hygiene of residents very good. Found staff to be very friendly and engaging with the residents and also the visitors. Found staff very friendly and informative upon questions asked by myself. A very relaxing and spacious garden, if the weather is fine. Most importantly to me, my auntie seems to be happy and content and well looked after, even though I know she can be a bit trying at times and cannot always be understood at times. This doesn’t seem to be a problem to the staff.

Staff are very friendly. Information is shared frequently regarding health checks. Dad is very happy in his environment and says he is treated well.

Staff have good relationships with residents. A lot of attention is paid to the personal care of residents, and the staff are very patient. It is evident that the home exercises good practice and dignity for all.
