Excellent security access and exit. Home very clean and tidy. Hygiene of residents very good. Found staff to be very friendly and engaging with the residents and also the visitors. Found staff very friendly and informative upon questions asked by myself. A very relaxing and spacious garden, if the weather is fine. Most importantly to me, my auntie seems to be happy and content and well looked after, even though I know she can be a bit trying at times and cannot always be understood at times. This doesn’t seem to be a problem to the staff.

I have always found the staff to be genuinely kind and caring. I feel that my dear friend is in very good hands. From my experience, everything is clean and welcoming. The staff are also extremely patient.

Staff have good relationships with residents. A lot of attention is paid to the personal care of residents, and the staff are very patient. It is evident that the home exercises good practice and dignity for all.

My sister lives here and could not be happier.

The standard of both care and management in Silk Court is very good. My husband remained contented, settled and well, thanks to the patience and support of the excellent carers who look after him. It was a lovely idea to bring a circus into the home and clearly a delight for the residents. I hope Silk Court will be able to organise more events like this.

I have regularly visited my friend since he came to Silk Court about four years ago. The staff have been brilliant with him! He can be difficult because of his Alzheimer's, and they have been patient and caring as his condition has deteriorated. Not easy, but well done.

Mum is happy, and the staff are great, friendly and approachable. Mum seems to love the staff and gives lots of hugs. The environment is clean, friendly and safe. I love being able to view the activities and information that’s uploaded on Facebook/Twitter regularly.

Mum has been part of the Silk Court community for a number of years, and the standard of care, consideration and kindness she receives remains first-rate. Mum likes companionship and society and as her condition has deteriorated, this has become even more important to her. Staff at Silk Court always make time for her and are concerned that this essential need is met, and I can see she is an active member of the community and takes part in many of the events that take place, despite her worsening condition. It is a great comfort to me and the rest of the family that she is so well looked after. When visiting, I always find her happy and contented and she looks very well turned-out. She could be in no better place.

Excellent and thoughtful care. A cohesive team. Physical and social needs are very well taken care of. My mother feels very loved and looked after at Silk Court, and she's very happy there. We are thrilled that she lives there now. She is in her 90s, and could not survive on her own.

The staff are very helpful, and nothing seems too much trouble. Two members of staff were very kind to Mum, and that made me feel better after my visits. I would also like to mention two other members of staff for their kindness.

It is just a shame that I cannot put 6 stars! My nan has been in Silk Court for several years now, and although she becomes more stubborn as the months go on, the team continues to offer a high level of care and patience to ensure she has the best experience each and every day. They go above and beyond at every opportunity and make the whole family feel welcome when we visit. Thanks again team.

They continue to make efforts to improve their space, and my family feel really at ease with my father being at the home.

Dad was admitted from the hospital after several weeks of treatment for a fall and memory loss. As I live in North Wales and don't drive, I was unable to visit prior to admission. After reading the government website and speaking to staff, my mind was soon put at ease. They were fabulous in helping coordinate the delivery of things Dad needed as well as a hospital appointment I was unable to travel down for. We were able to come down for several days last week. It was wonderful to finally put faces to the voices. My brother and I couldn't be happier with the care and the home in general. It is clean and fresh; Dad's room is spacious with an en-suite bathroom, but the thing which stands out is that the staff really care. They were all so kind and considerate. During Dad's stay, they have contacted us several times to keep us updated or to get information which they will use to try to jog memories as Dad appears to have lost a massive part of his life from the long-term memory. Dad is happy there.

Silk Court put on a Platinum Jubilee Celebration Party for residents and their family/friends. It couldn't have been more fun! Such a lovely opportunity for residents and visitors to engage with each other and staff, and such a great welcome from the home. It was very clear a lot of time and effort had been put into its planning and all-round input from everyone; such fun, so creative and happy. Well done all at Silk Court!

I am very much happy with Silk Court care home; they look after my brother very well. He looks really smart every time I come to visit, and he looks well-fed; he shows it well. The environment is neat and clean. Staff are very friendly. The ambience is nice. Staff are welcoming as well. Went to his room, and it looks really tidy.

My mother's care is exceptional. The care workers go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and cared for. Not only have they been amazing with my mother, but they have been amazing with myself and my family too. They always kept us updated on her progress as well as making our visits extremely pleasant.
