Mum was only at Ashbrook Nursing Home for a month, but during this period, she was very happy and settled. From the beginning, the staff treated her with dignity and respect. The staff were all friendly, and always made us feel very welcome and part of the family. When we had any concerns, they were
dealt with immediately; especially by the manager. On one occasion, mentioned that Mum's nails needed cutting. The next day, I saw they'd been manicured.
During her stay, she had a few falls. Whenever this happened, we were notified immediately. On these occasions, we had conversations about what could be done to prevent this. This resulted in a new bed being provided to further minimise the risk. Another point is that the home respected all faiths. We are Jewish, and Mum wanted to light candles on our Sabbath. The home obliged by providing battery candles and a laminated sheet for the carers to use with Mum if she needed prompting. My family and I would like to thank all the staff for their dedication and professionalism whilst caring for Mum. We have no hesitation in recommending Ashbrook Nursing Home.

Dad went into the nursing home as he was very poorly with Parkinson’s and Dementia. From the moment he arrived, he was treated with care and respect. He had 1-2-1 care, and his carers were so friendly to us all. The home provided loads of activities, and they included Dad as best as they could. Sadly
Dad passed away on the 3rd March, but the few weeks he spent at Ashbrook Nursing Home gave us the peace of mind that we needed, knowing that he was being well looked after. Thank you all so much for all you did for Dad and us as a family

The senior staff and care workers helped my mum from being bedbound to walking with a Zimmer frame. My mum felt loved, cared for and part of a community. The care home manager and senior nurse helped with my mum's medical needs in an empathetic way and provided genuine support.

Ashbrook were amazing with my dad. No job was too big or too small. All staff are so kind and caring. My dad's final weeks were the best they could have been. With great trepidation from all of the family, my husband was taken into Ashbrook Nursing Home in January 2023. During this time he went through various changes in his behaviour which was very upsetting for all concerned. Throughout one of this the staff continuously tried to help him. Fortunately,
the last two months of his life he became calmer which made our life so much easier for the end. All our thanks to our family from the home from my husband's family and me.

All the staff on the cedar unit are the best. From the moment we had a look around until the day we came to thank them for all their care and support in caring for my father-in-law. Nothing has been too much for them. We cannot thank them enough, from the reception staff, nursing/carers, kitchen staff,
and cleaners; each and every one of you touched us, and we will never forget you all. Thank you for helping us when we were at rock bottom. I would highly recommend this nursing home. Thank you all again; we will never forget you.

My husband came to the home from the hospital and was very unsettled. Staff are kind and patient, and he became much calmer. Carers are smiley and friendly and also look after the visitors. The staff are good, and some are exemplary. I appreciate the effort put in to keep residents as active and involved
as individually possible. Much of the well-being is generated by the excellent lady in charge of the unit my husband is in.

Care and attention to Mum is first class, although I wish Mum's eyes were checked out. I have mentioned this on many occasions to no avail. Whenever I have a problem it's sorted out very quickly (apart from mum's eyes).

Very happy with the care my mum is getting. I can say the staff are marvellous - I appreciate it is not and easy job. Food is amazing, everyone is catered for their needs. Lots of good ideas for keeping the residents doing activities.

Our mum has been in Ashbrook Nursing Home since June 2023 and we are happy with the cursor you received. Staff are courteous and caring, they attend to her needs. They are accommodating and will offer us chairs, tea, coffee etc. If we have any issues we speak to the nurse and she immediately steps in
to resolve the issue medical or otherwise, also keeping us updated about Mum's health. Mum is happy and that is mostly down to the care she receives.

Extremely satisfied. The only problem we have is the loss of washing and missing items. We have asked for his own washing basket (in which he now has). We do all his washing by taking this home. Hopefully, we have now reached an agreement, nothing is to leave his room.

The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty to eat and drink, though food quality can be variable, with some meals more appetising than others.
The laundry system needs and overhaul - they are often marked up by staff with the resident's room number (instead of their name) but still go AWOL.
I often wear clothing to the wrong room and items of my clothing are often missing- presumably in someone else's room!

My mother receives excellent care and safeguarding. There's regular, shared information and we feel included in all Mum's care needs and decision-making. There's a strong partnership between us and the nursing home.
Mum is treated with dignity and staff use compassionate language when speaking to Mum.
As a family, we also feel included and respected. Well done Ashbrook Nursing Home. Food is excellent too.
