Atfield House is a modern, purpose built home set on beautifully landscaped gardens. The care provider is located in Isleworth; opposite St. John's Park and close to Syon Park, Kew Gardens and the Thames Riverside.

The facility provide first-class nursing and residential care and also provide expert care for those with Dementia in their Memory Lane Community and have a facility for palliative care.

A team of highly-qualified and attentive staff focus on the individual needs of residents with a tailored care plan for each person. The teams dedication can be seen across the board - in cooking, hospitality and in organising activities for residents.

The admin staff are very welcoming and supportive, Care staff are exceptional. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Communication is much improved over recent months with regard to activities taking place-post Covid. Thank you to the team at Atfield House for making this difficult process easy.

My husband was looked after very well in Atfield House where he spent the last eight months of his life. The decision to take him to a nursing home was the most difficult decision I had ever had to make. It means a lot to me to know he was in safe hands. The home is run professionally with a high standard
of care and excellent food. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home.

I'm hugely grateful to the Atfield House Care Home team. They made mum's last days very comfortable and she was in clean clothes every time I visited she would have appreciated that. Her room was peaceful and calm. The staff were practical and upfront in describing mums condition. I really appreciated
that approach so I could be well prepared for the final outcome. One tiny niggle- There was mould on one sippy cup, mum had not eaten or drunk anything so I guess it was just sat there for a while.

Mother has been at Atfield House Care Home for over five years. She has Dementia but seems very happy. She is well cared for. The food is excellent and plentiful. The staff are welcoming and take great care of all my mother's needs. The home is well-run and holds regular meetings with relatives. It
is expensive, but in my opinion, is worth it for peace of mind knowing that my mother is well cared for.

I was very happy with the care provided. The care staff were approachable, caring and efficient taking into account staffing difficulties during Covid and this is reflected in the Good as opposed to Excellent in some of the categories. She was a very picky eater but I believe the management tried hard
to accommodate her which at the time she didn't quite appreciate. I couldn't have found a more suitable local environment for her. Thank you.

The staff are all so kind and caring to my dad. They are also helpful and polite when I visit, offering us refreshments. For my dad's 97th Birthday they arranged for us to have time with him as a family in the lounge and provided drinks and refreshments. They are all amazing and do a wonderful job.

My father is a resident at the home. Yesterday was his 97th birthday, and some of my family made a celebratory visit. The staff allowed us the personal use of the lounge and laid on sandwiches and a lovely cake. We had a very pleasant visit, made possible by the wonderful staff at Atfield. Thank you

We are very happy with the care our mum receives. I wish we were aware of this care home sooner.
Lovely staff and exceptionally clean. Mum just seems so content and actually sits with other residents rather than staying in her room alone.

The manager and staff are very friendly and welcoming, they provide excellent care to the residents. They always go the extra mile with care and attention to residents.

My father was admitted to Atfield House back in January with mobility issues and dementia. Since being at Atfield House, both I and my mum have found the staff to be very caring, compassionate and accommodating. The lady on reception has always been very welcoming, and informative and has gone above
and beyond during these difficult times. The accommodation itself is very clean and the foods on offer to the residents throughout the day are very nutritional and well presented. My mum has also been offered food whilst visiting, which I felt was very nice and not something which we expected.
My dad is treated with dignity and the girls that care for him on a daily basis always try and put a smile on his face and treat him as though he were family, this is something which means a lot to me and my mum whilst we are not with him. A big thank you to all the staff for making this transition so much easier.

My cousin was a resident at Atfield House for three years. During that time she was looked after extremely well. The facilities in the home are excellent, the staff are welcoming. The decor in the communal rooms are second to none. The coffee lounge was a delightful place to sit and read a newspaper.
When joining my cousin for lunch I particularly enjoyed having a sherry and meeting other residents beforehand. At the end of her life, my cousin was treated with care and dignity. I cannot thank the staff enough for their help and support during this difficult time.

Hi, my name is Subin, and I am the General Manager here at Atfield House.
I transferred here from another Barchester Healthcare care home in Chippenham.
I joined Barchester in 2019 and I have been the General Manager of Atfield House Nursing Home since 2022, I am committed to ensuring the residents receive the very highest standard of care, and I am passionate about developing and leading my team in a way in which they are empowered to use their skills and knowledge for the wellbeing of those we support. I am so proud to receive the CQC inspection report with one outstanding rating under a responsive domain. My favourite part of the job is meeting all our residents and finding out about their life and backgrounds -I have met some really interesting people throughout my career and I think life history plays such a vital part in everyone’s care. My vision for Atfield House is to create a “ home away from home environment for our residents and be one big happy family.


I have over 14 years of experience in the care sector and I have recently completed my Step up programme with Warwick University. I really enjoy the daily challenges, team recruitment and always pushing and exceeding performance where I can. I also enjoy adding value, enhancing care and giving elder life purpose to enable residents to engage in a fulfilled life. lam passionate about delivering the levels and standards of care that I would expect for my own parents. My biggest achievement is Making a difference in people's lives throughout my career. I strive to continually develop which ensures that the individuals I care for experience the very best care and life enrichment in later life. Every day is an achievement, delivering and pushing the levels of care to exceed the expectations of Barchester and myself.

I started working in Atfield House in 2004 as a Carer, and was eventually promoted to General Nurse, Head of Unit and, finally, Deputy Manager. I consider Atfield to be one of the most welcoming and friendly homes. My role is to ensure that all residents receive the highest standard of care and always take into account personal wishes and requirements. I focus on delivering person-centred care to support residents in understanding the aging process, to maximize their independence, and create a safe, homely environment for everyone in the home. I offer support and guidance to all Nurses and Carers and work closely with external healthcare professionals.
