His nurse care was as good as I could expect, with attention to keep his skin in a good condition as he has had bed sores in the past. My dad stayed for two weeks of respite care and although we were anxious as it was his first time we need not have worried. The staff were lovely and kept us fully informed even giving him a packed lunch when he attended hospital in case he missed lunch. The food was excellent, just like a hotel with white cloths on the table. There was always a staff member in the lounge and plenty of activities going on. Christmas entertainment was put on and there were several craft activities going on. My dad was allowed to be as independent as he wanted to be and encouraged to join in. The home had a lovely atmosphere and the other residents were friendly and welcoming to my dad. We were very happy with the whole experience. Many thanks to the staff.
