Kenbrook, located in Wembley Park, north-west London specialises in a range of nursing and dementia care for up to 51 older people. Residents enjoy the extensive gardens along with a range of optional activities such as quizzes, arts and crafts, armchair exercises, puzzles and themed events throughout the year.

A warm and welcoming home, it prides itself in providing a homely, personalised environment and ensures residents and their families are at the centre of everything as are its core values of dignity and respect. Kenbrook believes in being open and fair as it strives to do the best possible and endeavours to meet its residents needs to enable them to live a fulfilled life in mind, body and spirit.

Residents living with dementia benefit from award-winning music therapy and interactive robotic pets and therapy dolls. A dedicated Chaplain provides pastoral support to residents and their families, whatever their beliefs.

We attended a friend's 60th wedding anniversary tea party at the lounge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and made this memorable milestone even more lovely.

Dad has been a resident at Kenbrook for just under a year. His health has gradually improved under the watchful care of the nurses. As he has regained strength, he has appreciated the church services and exercise activities provided. The team of carers work hard to keep him as independent as he can
manage, noting when more or less help is needed. When visiting, the carers have assisted in enabling Dad to have space with his visitors, including space for lunch together. He is assisted to visit his wife, who is also in Kenbrook.
Thank you to all the staff at Kenbrook, who are a loving team of devoted carers.

Both our parents now live at Kenbrook: one since 2019 and the second moved in a few weeks ago. The quality of the care given - before, during the Covid pandemic period (including when families were unable to visit) and since restrictions have eased - is outstanding, and we have experienced great warmth
from the staff towards both residents and all our family. The atmosphere is welcoming and full of life. Kenbrook feels like a community, as residents eat together in the dining rooms and there are plenty of activities and special events taking place. Winning staff team of the year and manager of the year at the 2022 Brent Care Awards is testament to the superb staff, as it is primarily the people who make Kenbrook the wonderful place it is. The facilities are good too. It may not be as plush as some homes, but Kenbrook is light-filled and spacious. The garden and enclosed courtyard garden are a lovely bonus. We are happy the long wait for a place is over, as is the new resident!

My mum has been living at Kenbrook since 2020 and is very settled there. She has good relationships with staff and other residents, despite her difficulties with verbal communication. We are extremely happy with the home and the care my sister gets. She has been at Kenbrook for several years so we have seen how it runs before and since COVID19. I’ve been visiting my auntie with my dad (his sister) for the last two years and I can honestly say from phoning to arriving you are treated with warmth care and professionalism. This year has been challenging with my father’s health and when we arrive the care and concern they show him is heartwarming.
My auntie always looks happy, well cared for and carers show compassion, they explain what is happening and what’s happening next which is crucial for those with dementia. Her birthday celebration was wonderful, I was taken back when she was presented with a gift from the staff, that’s what sets Kenbrook apart from other settings I’ve been to. They are special carers, particularly the management staff, I just feel very welcome when we visit. It’s a special place and staff seem to go the extra mile. Well done and thank you very much for all you do for my auntie I can clearly see she is loved and part of a beautiful community at Kenbrook.

A big thank you to the staff for helping to make Mum's 86th birthday so special. They put up decorations, baked a cake and we had tea in a china set. We really appreciated spending a pleasant afternoon with her. She was so happy to see her granddaughters and great-granddaughters. The little ones were
at home and loved playing in the garden and with the memorabilia. My 7yr old granddaughter thought the hand whisk and globe were great. Mum was complimentary of the staff and said how well she is being looked after! This is so reassuring. Kenbrook, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The care home is extremely clean and tidy. The staff are very attentive, friendly, considerate and caring. They treat all residents with the utmost respect and attend to them caringly. The nurses are lovely and are always happy to answer any questions you may have. The food offered to the residents
is well prepared. The staff ensure there is always something for residents to do, if they choose to participate, they also have dance nights for the more agile footed. I wholeheartedly would recommend this care home.
