I've visited my friend's Mother, who is now the longest resident at the home for over 20 years. That in itself says a lot about the care and attention she has received over that time. The home is very clean and welcoming. The residents always appear to be in good spirits. The staff are lovely and friendly and very accommodating. Recently, the staff helped my friend arrange a 90th Birthday party for her at the home which she absolutely loved.
It has been a very special year for your friend celebrating both her 90th Birthday and 20 years residing in the home. Thank you for your appreciation of the staff and the home environment. We try our very best to make people feel welcome and it is pleasing that you recognise this.
Thank you very much.
Thank you for your review of Kenbrook and our service. We feel proud to know that you felt welcomed at Kenbrook and found the staff to be kind and respectful. Your kind words are appreciated, and your comments will be passed on to the team. We are glad you enjoyed the Diamond Anniversary tea party;...
An amazing party to celebrate a 60th anniversary. Lovely speech from the manager and gifts for them along with a beautiful cake made by the home. Staff were excellent at making everything work and supporting them. Thanks to all the team for the amazing care and supporting them.

We came to celebrate the Diamond Wedding Anniversary of my cousin and his wife (both residents). It was a happy occasion despite the dementia that now affects one of them. The staff were very supportive and joined us and it was a splendid tea!
We are so glad that your family enjoyed the special day, it was lovely that you were all able to come together to celebrate such a momentous occasion. We are pleased that a lovely afternoon was had by all. We shall pass your kind words on to all the team and thank you for taking the time to review our service.
We attended a friend's 60th wedding anniversary tea party at the lounge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and made this memorable milestone even more lovely.
Thank you for your review. It is pleasing to hear that the staff added to your enjoyment of such a wonderful occasion.
My mother has been at Kenbrook for twenty years which they celebrated in August. The staff both past and present have been remarkable. Her care has been exemplary. I could not recommend Kenbrook highly enough. They have been a gift to my mother and I.
Thank you for your wonderful review. It was hugely rewarding and a great privilege to have a celebration in honour of your mother’s 20 years residing in Kenbrook. Your mother is a remarkable woman, enduring her own health needs but never forgetting words of love and kindness to the staff who care for her. The staff have been duly thanked for their work.
This is a wonderful care home. We are confident that our Mum is being well looked after. There is a good programme of activities and events. Every effort is made to create a home from home. Thank you!
Thank you for your wonderful review. It is a great sense of achievement to see this level of satisfaction with your mum’s care. It is a pleasure to care for someone so enchanting and full of spirit, and very much part of our Kenbrook family. It is also a benefit to have such an engaged family who visit whenever they can.
My family and I are all continually pleased with the care our mother receives at Kenbrook. The staff are kind, competent and compassionate. They always offer a friendly greeting to family and friends and go out of their way to make things easy for us. We feel our mother is in many safe pairs of hands.
It has been very rewarding to see your mother continuing to have a good quality of life and her delight during family visits. All the team enjoy having your mother in Kenbrook and get much pleasure from the loving and appreciative interactions she has with them. Thank you for your kind words and for visiting often.
Thank you to all the staff at Kenbrook, who are a loving team of devoted carers.
Your father has such an indomitable spirit and has been a stalwart visitor of your mother, even before his admission, and likewise, your mother’s resilience has been something we have all learnt from; they are certainly a big part of Kenbrook. It is pleasing to see that your parent’s care is...
Both our parents now live at Kenbrook: one since 2019 and the second moved in a few weeks ago. The quality of the care given - before, during the Covid pandemic period (including when families were unable to visit) and since restrictions have eased - is outstanding, and we have experienced great warmth from the staff towards both residents and all our family. The atmosphere is welcoming and full of life. Kenbrook feels like a community, as residents eat together in the dining rooms and there are plenty of activities and special events taking place. Winning staff team of the year and manager of the year at the 2022 Brent Care Awards is testament to the superb staff, as it is primarily the people who make Kenbrook the wonderful place it is. The facilities are good too. It may not be as plush as some homes, but Kenbrook is light-filled and spacious. The garden and enclosed courtyard garden are a lovely bonus. We are happy the long wait for a place is over, as is the new resident!
Thank you for taking the time to leave this wonderful review. Your family have been a big part of Kenbrook life for so long now and we are so pleased that the waiting for a placement is over and that your mum and dad are back together again. We thank you for all your support and your thoughtful...

My husband has been in Kenbrook since February 2018. My family and I have always found there is a culture of caring from the management, nurses, carers and cleaners. Residents are all treated with friendship and dignity. The home is always spotlessly clean.
Thank you for taking the time to review Kenbrook. Your Husband settled well into life at Kenbrook, and it’s hard to believe that he has been with us for over four years now. We thank you sincerely for all your time and help given when visiting Kenbrook and attending all our events. Thank you for...
My father-in-law is well cared for here at Kenbrook. He is happy, he is eating well compared to the last care home he was in. The nursing staff have been exceptional in looking after him. They keep us updated on all his needs, his care and anything we need to know. The care home has a lovely feel to it as you come in. Staff are helpful and caring and I have no worries about him. Great care home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Kenbrook. Your Father-in-law certainly has improved in his time with us and he is well settled at Kenbrook. Thank you for the contributions made by your family and of course for the lovely cakes! We shall pass your comments to the team and thank you again for taking the time to review our service.
My mum has been living at Kenbrook since 2020 and is very settled there. She has good relationships with staff and other residents, despite her difficulties with verbal communication. It's lovely now the home is able to open up again since COVID restrictions have started to lift. It's a good place to visit with my kids and my mum is happy there. Thank you staff at Kenbrook.
Thank you for taking the time to review Kenbrook and our service. We too are happy that restrictions are lifted and you can now visit as a family with all the children, as we know how much your Mother loves to see the children. We agree that Mum has settled well and is happy here, now that she...
Found the staff very friendly and helpful. Home is clean and seems well organised. Cannot say anything bad about the place.
Thank you for taking the time to review Kenbrook. We are delighted that your mother has settled so well into life at Kenbrook and it’s hard to believe that she has been with us a year now. Now that the travel restrictions are less, it will be much easier for you the next time you come to the UK to...
My mother has been at Kenbrook since July 2016. My brother and I have always been very satisfied with the level of care she receives. The staff are attentive, considerate, reactive and friendly. And they have done an admirable job during the pandemic.
Thank you for your review of Kenbrook. Our residents' families have been immensely supportive to us, we thank you for all your support and your kind words and gifts of appreciation throughout the pandemic. We are so happy that you have finally been able to travel to the UK see your mother. Thank you again for your lovely review. I shall pass your comments to the team.
I have found the service to be friendly, helpful and constructive about the way that my mother's needs to be managed. The ability to navigate very challenging issues with my mother have always been handled with professionalism and courtesy. The management are dedicated, even when they are often understaffed and underpaid.
We thank you for taking the time to review our service and I shall pass on your kind comments regarding our staff to the team. We are lucky to have long-standing staff that have really pulled together to enable full staff cover throughout COVID and any difficulties it has brought. Thank you once again for your review, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience of Kenbrook.
We are extremely happy with the home and the care my sister gets. She has been at Kenbrook for several years so we have seen how it runs before and since COVID19. That meant we have had no worries about her treatment when we were not allowed to visit during the lockdowns. All the staff are lovely and friendly.
Thank you so much for your review of Kenbrook. We have been very fortunate at Kenbrook throughout the pandemic and our families/relatives have been immensely supportive. Thank you again for your lovely review. I shall pass your comments to the team.
The visitor area is always clean and tidy.
