My Aunty was a resident of Kenbrook for 14 months. I knew immediately that this was the right home for her on viewing. This home met all her care needs, the staff are caring and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend Kenbrook.

My mother has been a resident of Kenbrook since December 2018, and a couple of years ago spent a short period of respite care there. Kenbrook is clean, bright, well maintained and has a warm homely feel about it. The staff are very friendly, attentive and caring. They clearly know their residents well, and try their best to take account of the residents’ individual needs and preferences. Nursing care is very good and as a family, we have expressed a preference for our mother to be looked after at Kenbrook rather than sent to hospital in the event of serious problems arising. The food is very good and plentiful. There are regular activities for the residents, birthdays are celebrated and I like the fact that, when residents pass away, details about the deceased are put up in the reception area. All in all, I find Kenbrook to be first class and, most importantly, my mother is happy there.
It is our privilege to...
My husband passed away within a very short period of arriving at Kenbrook. I so wish that he could have had a chance to see and feel the care and love offered by all the staff that were so wonderful. The team are amazingly dedicated and it's plain to see that compassion and support from all who work there are just a snippet of the care provided and a service that is given with heart and soul by each and every one of them. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for leaving us this lovely review of our home. It is a shame that your late husband never got to enjoy life at Kenbrook and we are saddened that he passed away so quickly. At least his wish was fulfilled that he did not pass away in hospital. It is a pity that the hospital authorities did...
My father sadly only spent his final hours of life at Kenbrook but the staff were unbelievably compassionate. The respect and dignity shown to our family was not only full of empathy but was so sincere and caring. We just wish my father could have had more time to experience the care and love shown in this home. A heart felt thank you to all in this wonderful home and may you continue to provide your care with the high standards that have obviously been set.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review of Kenbrook. We also wish that your father could have had more time with us and it was such a shame that he only spent his final hours here. It was a very traumatic time for all of your family and we are delighted that we were able, in some...
Kenbrook has brought much happiness in times that have seemed quite dark. The care that has been given from the manager and all the staff for my grandmother has been nothing but exemplary. The personal touch is clearly evident here and every special occasion is marked with much effort. The home is very clean and hospitable, in a beautiful garden setting. The last thing my family and I wanted is for my nana to be is away from home but I honestly couldn't ask for her to be in a better place. Thank you for everything you do for my Nana, it means everything to know she is safe, looked after and loved.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. I am glad that you are happy with the service we provide. Your nana is a real character and adds much laughter and happiness to the environment. We strive to meet the individual needs of all our residents at Kenbrook. This is helped by the...
My Aunty has been a resident at Kenbrook for six years. I selected Kenbrook not only because of the care and standard of accommodation that it provides but also because of the "family" atmosphere that is very evident to any visitors. The staff not only treat the residents with respect but also with the care and compassion that you would treat family members and this is very important to me. All the staff are very willing to listen to any suggestions or requests I may have about my Aunty's care and always do their best to implement them. The home provides a good selection of activities for the residents and frequently hold events that family members and friends are invited to attend. I feel that this home really does provide the care and attention that you would want for your loved ones.
Thank you for your excellent review; this gives recognition to all of the team, and a lot of satisfaction that we are doing our very best. It is a pleasure to care for your Aunty, and a pleasure to have a family so interested and involved in the care their loved one receives, and in the life of the home.
My mother always looks clean and tidy. The staff that look after my mother are always friendly and happy to talk to us.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass your comments to the team here at Kenbrook. Thank you again for taking the time to complete this review.
My 91 year old mother has been in this amazing care home for over a year. I am the youngest of 5 children and my mother lived with me for 8 years before entering Kenbrook. The management and staff are exceptionally outstanding and I would highly recommend Kenbrook to anyone looking for a home for a loved one. The home and Mum's room are exceptionally clean and tidy and the gardens are beautifully laid out and well maintained. Families of residents are welcomed with a smile and are always offered drinks and biscuits. There are lots of excellent activities, which is great for my mother as she loves singing, music and entertainment. My mother always looks clean and tidy and she is happy, comfortable, well looked after and as content as possible. I leave after every visit with complete peace of mind, totally confident that she couldn't be in a better place. Kenbrook is outstanding in every aspect. All our family are extremely happy with the home. Well done to all at Kenbrook. Absolutely first class. A huge thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. We are proud of the care we deliver, we strive to live up to the expectations of our organisation, residents and their families. The mission of MHA is to improve the quality of life for older people and your mother with her singing and cheery smile helps us to improve the lives of other residents living in our home.
He liked taking part in the day to day activities and enjoyed anything to do with singing and music. The stability and calmness of his day to day routine, without a doubt, helped to extend his life for far longer than initially expected.
Also, I'm fully satisfied with the requirements and needs of Kenbrook Care Home.
We value your continued support at our events and we are glad you enjoyed the Christmas Party.
With cosy sitting rooms overlooking beautiful gardens, which lends it a bright homely feel. It is a lovely environment for both residents and visiting family members.
Activities play a key role in Kenbrook with singing groups, painting, cooking, fantastic special events throughout the year. There is always something going on.
I feel the CQC should use this as a benchmark for the outstanding level of care Kenbrook offers.
It is hard to put into words the peace of mind Kenbrook staff have given me, knowing my mum is so well taken care of.
Thank you for your wonderful review of Kenbrook. Your kind words will be relayed to the team. We are glad that we give you peace of mind and that you enjoy the environment on your visits when you are here. Your Mother brings a lot of joy and laughter to the home and we hope she will start her...
My auntie has been in Kenbrook for just over a year. She loves the place and the staff are all very pleasant, caring and attentive. She enjoys all of the activities.
Thank you or taking the time to leave a review of Kenbrook. The feeling is mutual as we all love your Aunt and it is a privilege to be able to support her. We are glad that your Aunt has settled into home life so well at Kenbrook, as we understand it is difficult to give up your home to move into a care home. We are glad she chose Kenbrook. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Our Mum very much enjoyed her time at Kenbrook MHA residential and care home in Wembley, Middlesex. She felt cared for and relaxed, surrounded by smiling, friendly, helpful and considerate staff. Many care homes could use MHA Kenbrook as a 5 star example of what can/should be achieved within a care home on a daily basis. We also felt very confident that our mother's medication was being administered as required.
My father has resided at this home for the last 10 months and during that time I can honestly say the team at Kenbrook have been excellent. My father who did have his moments was cared for with the utmost care and respect. I would recommend this care home to anyone who had a family member in need of care.
It was an absolute honour to support your family in the 10 months that your Father was at Kenbrook. It was also a pleasure getting to know your family and we thank you for all that you brought with you as a family which...
They looked after my father-in-law so well. They put so much thought and effort into the environment and activities for the residence. This made it a happy place to be. The staff went the extra mile to support and care for the whole family, thank you so much.
I shall pass your kind comments on to the team and thank you once again for taking the time to post your review.
My Mother-in-law has been here for nearly a year now. I cannot even put into words as to how impressed I am with the care that is given. The staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble and the respect given is fabulous. Mum loves it here, so much she thinks its a hotel. Us as a family can sleep well at night knowing she is being well cared for.
Many thanks for taking the time to review Kenbrook and for your lovely comments regarding our home, care and staff. We all love the songs your Mother-in-law sings for us each day. It is easy to care for her due to her happy nature and appreciation for all assistance given. We will endeavour to...
All the staff were excellent, caring, kind, considerate and very friendly. My dad received excellent care whilst he was there and he really enjoyed the activities that the home put on for the residents. My dad did not have dementia so he very much enjoyed the activities, for example, painting, music, some light exercise, cheese and wine, special dinners, prayers with the chaplain and bible study. He was very happy at the home and I firmly believe that due to the care he received at Kenbrook, it prolonged his life.
The rooms all have a TV point and en-suite toilet and showering facilities. Laundry is done on a daily basis and returned to residents promptly. The gardens are also a nice place to go and sit with your family member and enjoy the sunshine.
The home is also very clean and was being redecorated in July when I was there.
We understand you are grieving but if you ever need us, our...
As I visited every day, I noticed little acts of compassion and tenderness extended to the residents, over and above what one would expect and especially at a time in their lives when they are most vulnerable.
All the family were at peace knowing that our loved one was in safe and kind hands.
The involvement of residents in exercise, crafts, baking, singing etc. bought out much enthusiasm and joy in them.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review of Kenbrook. It was a pleasure to look after your Brother-in-law. He was a man of substance in every way, a true gentleman. It was a pleasure to have been able to provide him with the care that he required. Our residents, relatives and staff will...
My mother lived at Kenbrook for nearly 2 years prior to her death in June 2018. During her time there the management and staff always did the utmost to help my brother and I, something that gave peace of mind living abroad as we both do.
During visits to my mother, the care she received was for all to see both professional, respectful and at the same time very personal. Something others commented upon after a visit when reporting back to my brother and I. The staff were always willing to assist my mother in a way that supported her needs, while at the same time finding the fine balance between these needs, and the respect for her right to say no.My mother was never one for showering complements around. Never did I hear a negative comment from her with regards to the care staff, and she was for all to see at peace. Something that my family and I will always be very grateful for.
As you say, Mum was not one to give compliments but it was clearly visible that Mum was happy here at Kenbrook and you saw this when her fingers would...
The manager's excellent staff retention rate speaks volumes for the care she takes in selecting, training and managing them. As my aunt's world gradually closed in, the staff were really attentive to her basic needs, when she was unable to express herself clearly. I recall watching one skilled carer taking infinite care gently encouraging her to eat and drink. When my aunt's condition drew towards its eventual conclusion, the end of life care given her was exemplary in every respect from this hugely skilled team. I must also praise the Chaplain at Kenbrook, who did so much to support my aunt's spiritual needs during her stay.
Your Aunt was such a large character in the Home and her absence is sorely missed by us all. Her loving nature and strong faith was appreciated by so many throughout her life and we were privileged to have been able to assist...
