Queens Court is based in the heart of Wimbledon SW19. This unique city boutique care home is located in a residential street just minutes away from the train, tube and tram service. Easily located beside the newly rebranded Wimbledon Quarter, Queens Court offers person centred care to those who require respite, convalescence, dementia and nursing care.

Staff are well trained in Dementia Care, up to date clinical courses and the Gold Standards Framework for End of Life Care. The home always has qualified nurses on duty as well as senior care staff. There is a ‘getting to know you’ booklet and the team know residents very well. They provide exceptional personalised care and offer a range of activities to meet everyone’s likes. A retained GP visits every week or when required.

The team ensures that the residents feel comfortable, maintaining their independence and ensuring they feel as active as possible. The Activity Co-coordinator organises amazing and interesting events and outings in the minibus. These activities are part of the package of care.

The Head Chef and his team ensures that seasonal menu in the Courtyard Restaurant and room service is of the highest standard and quality. The produce is fresh and they are trained to provide the required textures if required.

The spacious, contemporary interiors all have Wi-Fi access and are conducive to relaxation and create a feeling of relaxation and homeliness. Some bedrooms have their own patio space, all have flat screen televisions provided and can accommodate personal furniture and pictures.

Queens Court also features extra services such as physiotherapy and a visiting beautician.

Our mother was a resident of Queens Court Wimbledon from February 2023 to June 30th 2025.
Unfortunately she was moved due to financial disputes between my siblings one of which has LPA and it was him who decided to move our 95 year old mother. I have visited our mother 3 times in the new care home.
I cannot even put into words how different everything is. Our mother was treated with utmost caring, love and attention in Queens Court. We loved visiting her there. Everyone was welcoming, happy and professional. Our mother was always clean, well dressed and most importantly cared for with compassion and kindness. She was not put in bed most of the time. It breaks my heart every time I see her there and how sad she looks. I have lots of videos to prove the difference. She is not eating as before. I want to thank the management of Queens Court for their consistent loving care and professional manner. I pray our mother returns to Queens Court so she can smile again.

My mother was admitted to Queens Court in Feb 2023, she stayed at Queens Court for 28 months until my brother, against all family wishes, transferred her to another private care home due to financial disputes with family members. To sum it up, my mother got moved from a Ritz Carlton type of care home
to a Travel Lodge type of care home. Would love to bring her back to Queens Court. During the 28 months that my 95 year old mom was at Queens Court, she was cared for with sincere love and compassion. We all loved visiting her at Queens Court, honestly it felt like home from the second you walked into the place. Absolutely loved the "happy" environment, the activities were so much fun, everything was very well planned. We are grateful for the loving care provided to my mom during her stay. Cannot thank management and staff enough for such a well run care home, worth every penny.

We placed my mother with Queenscourt care home in February 2023. The fees were £8500 for four weeks and it was increased by 5% in April 2023, 7% in April 2024 and 8.3% in April 2025 putting enormous pressure on our finances. In May this year we decided to transfer my mother to a less expensive carehome
and met the Manager and gave 28 days notice as required by the contract. Her response was appalling, aggressive and very upsetting. She later told my partner that my mother will aspirate if we moved her. My partner was in tears but the manager just ignored her. A few days later we changed our mind and informed the manager that we'd like to keep her at Queenscourt. Despite having three vacant rooms she refused to keep my mother and told us that we have to leave and she would not provide transport for a one mile distance. Queenscourt is now refusing to pay us the £860 refund they owe us plus £4200 deposit. I have contacted Barchester through various emails - no reply.

My mother has been at Queens Court for just one week after spending four difficult months in hospital, and the difference we've seen already is incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been nothing short of amazing - incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional.
They've not only made
my mum feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, but they've also been a huge support to me and my family during what has been an emotional and stressful time. Their kindness, patience, and reassuring presence have meant the world to us. It's clear that every member of the team genuinely cares, and that makes all the difference.

I booked a 2 week stay following an accident. My experience here was excellent. In particular I found the staff caring, helpful and professional. I can't believe how positive they are doing the very difficult job they have. For me the food was sometimes a little too salty as I use little salt at home.
The lounges in the care home are very comfortable and stylish. I would have liked an ensuite shower but I understand not a lot of the residents here are unable to use them so it would not be feasible to provide them. Overall an excellent experience.

I found the staff very keen to do anything for me, I enjoyed the banter with them, as I volunteered here 20 years ago. I certainly remembered some of them which says its mon tale, they are happy in their work.

You kindly organised a birthday party for 16 adults and 6 children only two days after mum (now 92) moved in. Everyone kept checking on us. The food was amazing. Fresh quiches, beautiful sandwiches, chips (the children loved the chips) fresh, and finally, finally but not least the most beautiful and
delicious cake. You even had balloons. Thank you everyone! You truly made it special for all of us.

My father has had respite care at Queens Court twice and both times the standard of care has been outstanding. The facilities are fantastic. The bedrooms are safe, comfortable, homely and always clean. The food, restaurant, lounges and even the corridors have been thoughtfully and beautifully designed
- to encourage engagement, safety and mobility. There are daily activities, which my father participated in - much to my surprise! But the most wonderful thing about Queens Court are the staff. They are so caring, and kind, and patient, and smiley! It made my father (and me) feel warm, welcome and in very safe hands. I was very anxious about how my father would respond to respite care, but he settled in very quickly and enjoyed this time at Queens Court. It has a been positive for all the family, and has substantially reduced everyone's stress. Thank you.

I phoned Queens Court on short notice. I needed to get my sister in a quality care facility since her health was declining and I live in a different country. The manager took me on a tour. I was impressed with the cleanliness and cheeriness of the facility. They have a lovely dining area and a full
menu to chose from. I liked that they have an activity coordinator and activity plans are created for even those that are bedridden.
The next day the manager evaluated my sister at the hospital. Two days later my sister spent her first night at Queens Court. I was concerned what my sister would say after her first night. Well she told me "I love this place". I was so happy. Now she refers to the facility as the hotel she is staying in.
Thank you the manager and the entire staff for making this a positive experience.

The General Manager is exemplary and all the staff are exceptional and extremely caring and compassionate. The home is very clean and the food is excellent. My cousin moved into Barchester Queens Court Care Home a month ago, after 7 weeks in hospital and in a very poor state of health. The home was very helpful over her move and have cared for her extremely competently since then. She has been putting on weight and is getting stronger by the day.
The
staff are very pleasant and helpful and seem happy to accommodate her quirks and needs.

The manager and all the wonderful staff at Queens Court arranged a very happy party for my husband and 17 of his family on the occasion of his 94th birthday yesterday. Delicious cake, delectable buffet, superb decor (with balloons, sparkles and tinsel). An amazing time was had by all, both old (94)
and young (18 months).

My mother has been at Queens Court Care Home since September 2024. Myself and my husband have been very reassured since she moved in. All the staff are friendly and kind, and treat my mum with respect at all times.
They keep her safe and offer her lots of activities, which they encourage her to join
in with. There are regular visits from doctors/nurses and they are very aware of any health problems which may arise. The communication is great, from phone calls, emails and photos, to verbal updates.
The food, snacks and cakes are fabulous.

I joined Barchester Healthcare in 1998. Before that, I worked in the NHS where I developed my passion - Caring for Older People. After I qualified as an RGN, I continued to develop my career by studying BSc in Nursing Studies, a Diploma in Orthopaedics and an MSc in Health Sciences.


The team and I are committed to ensuring that the residents have a good quality of life. This is working with evidence-based practices or projects like nutrition, non-pharmaceutical interventions, and life story work and we advocate the Whole Home Approach Model. My role as the Dementia Care Champion is pivotal within a Memory Lane Community. Dementia Care Champions receive additional training for the Dementia Care Team and act as coaches within our home. As the Dementia Care Champion for Queens Court. I also work closely with a Dementia Care Specialist to ensure that good Dementia care is being maintained and that any potential 'issues' have a quick resolution.

I love being a part of the Activities Team so that I can make some contribution to making resident's life and daily living better by giving them Namaste Therapy because of my interest in making residents happy.


My role is to give the therapy to the residents. The therapy involves welcoming them, hand massage, head massage, relaxation exercise, breathing exercise, nail care, hydration, sense of touch, sense of flavour, reminiscence, and relaxing in the therapy room with diffusor on with the relaxing essential oils.
