I came to visit my friend for a fish and chips lunch, which I found wonderful, especially pineapple mousse. I found the staff very friendly and helpful in the care of the resident.

Reply from Shaaron Caratella, General Manager at Barchester Queens Court Care Home

This lunch was the brainchild of one of our residents. At the last Residents' meeting, it was suggested that we offer a Fish and Chip lunch to their friends and family for March. This idea has been very successful as the meal was always enjoyed but it also encouraged more visits around mealtimes....

I visited my friend today and took her out for coffee. Before visiting I contacted the home to explain I was recovering from a hand operation and would be grateful for help with my friend's wheelchair in getting to and from the cafe. From the moment I arrived at Queens Court, the staff arranged everything beautifully and my friend and I spent a very happy morning together.

On my frequent visits over the past eighteen months, I always see how well the staff care for my brother-in-law. He has a very complex set of mental and physical needs and Barchester Queens Court Care Home has responded well to support him with these. He is happy and content in the home, he gets on well with all the staff and enjoys all the activities. They are extremely responsive to his medical needs, resulting in avoiding any serious complications.

I am extremely grateful to the whole team at Queens Court for their exemplary care. It is clear to me that this a well-run and caring home. I would recommend.

I know from my brother, who resides in Barchester Queens Court Care Home, that "it feels like home" and he says he is happy here. All the staff treat him with respect and dignity despite his advanced Parkinson's. To show respect and dignity with kindness is how I best describe the care professional staff at Queens Court Care Home.

Reply from Shaaron Caratella, General Manager at Barchester Queens Court Care Home

Thank you for your kind review. I know that it's never easy to visit one's loved one in a care home but as you say your brother is happy. It is our pleasure to care for him. Your brother is so kind and nice to us as well. I will share your review with the staff and see you soon.

My mother was extremely weak and her confidence was very low post a difficult series of chemotherapy treatments. She spent 4 weeks with the team at Queens Court and her condition and confidence were transformed enough for her to confidently return to her own house. All aspects of care, food, attention, support and nutrition were exceptional and I would happily recommend to any other people in the same situation.

Reply from Shaaron Caratella, Admin at Barchester Queens Court Care Home

Thank you for your review. It is so nice to see that the people who stay at Queens Court for a respite or a convalescence break can, in actual fact, return to their home as planned. Your mother was a lovely resident who worked hard to get stronger to return home and she did this. We are pleased to hear from you and look forward to you both joining us for a Christmas drink.

I had the pleasure of visiting this home recently. I was very impressed from the time I stepped into the waiting area - the lounge chairs looked smart and very comfortable. The residents were all well-dressed and cheerful. The staff were smiling and very friendly. The hallway was airy and well lit with nooks furnished with some comfy chairs for catching up or reading. Congratulations to the staff of this well-maintained facility for providing our seniors with the best care and respect that they truly deserve. Keep up the good job.

The Ritz Carlton of Care Centres! My mom has been staying there since February 2023. As difficult of a decision it was to admit my loving mom to a care centre. I am so pleased with the outcome. The staff are the most loving, they are extremely friendly and genuinely loving. My mom is very happy there and looks fantastic. Couldn’t ask for a better place for her.

We were very impressed by our first visit to Barchester Queens Court Care Home. We were warmly welcomed, given a tour and shown to our friend's room. It was lovely to see our friend happy, comfortable and smiling. She had had some physio and was looking forward to a Namaste relaxing therapy session. We were then sent off with some homemade cookies and encouraged to make a return visit soon.

Hello, it was so nice to hear from you after your first visit to Queens Court. It can be difficult to see your dear friend or loved one in a care home, so to visit and go home reassured that she is well cared for and looking forward to a social session must be a relief for you.

I visited this lovely care home a few days ago to see a friend of my mother! I was so impressed with the level of care she is given and how happy she seemed. The staff all seemed so friendly and they seemed to be interacting with everyone so patiently. This purpose-built home always seems clean and fresh smelling, and the best use is made of the little garden. I am reassured that the manager is long-standing and passionate about the home she runs. The staff are professional, cheerful and friendly. They support residents in a range of activities, including outings. Soo pleased that Mum has regained her appetite due to the excellent food served in the restaurant.

Mum has been in Queens Court Barchester since November 2022. She now refers to this as her home it’s all due to the excellent care and wonderful comfortable environment. Its good to see Mum enjoying the numerous activities and she loves being pampered getting her nails manicured and taking out for coffee.
It makes it easier for for us to to visit and enjoy quality time with her.

I can’t thank and praise the wonderful team enough for the consistent and loving care they provide.
