We got to know each other very well in the 9 years that your mother has been with us and you are right that your mother enjoyed certain activities which we were pleased to add to our social programme. She also enjoyed getting to know the staff and she was always interested in them. I am sorry to hear that your emails, letters and iPhone messages were not responded to but you know she loved her Zoom meetings, chats and parties. She really enjoyed how this technology kept her up to date with her family.

My role as the Dementia Care Champion is pivotal within a Memory Lane Community. Dementia Care Champions receive additional training for the Dementia Care Team and act as coaches within our home. I also work closely with a Dementia Care Specialist to ensure that good Dementia care is being maintained and that any potential 'issues' have a quick resolution.
