Staff are well trained in Dementia Care, up to date clinical courses and the Gold Standards Framework for End of Life Care. The home always has qualified nurses on duty as well as senior care staff. There is a ‘getting to know you’ booklet and the team know residents very well. They provide exceptional personalised care and offer a range of activities to meet everyone’s likes. A retained GP visits every week or when required.
The team ensures that the residents feel comfortable, maintaining their independence and ensuring they feel as active as possible. The Activity Co-coordinator organises amazing and interesting events and outings in the minibus. These activities are part of the package of care.
The Head Chef and his team ensures that seasonal menu in the Courtyard Restaurant and room service is of the highest standard and quality. The produce is fresh and they are trained to provide the required textures if required.
The spacious, contemporary interiors all have Wi-Fi access and are conducive to relaxation and create a feeling of relaxation and homeliness. Some bedrooms have their own patio space, all have flat screen televisions provided and can accommodate personal furniture and pictures.

Three of our friends have been residents at Queens Court. Two of them have now gone on to meet their maker. From our very first visit, we were impressed by the high standard of care and attention to detail given to each resident. The provision across the board is five stars. As regular visitors, we are made to feel part of the family. We are invited to decision making meetings and kept constantly informed of our friend's wellbeing.

My brother and I have been extremely pleased with our mother's care during this difficult period of the Covid-19 pandemic. We have not been inside the home for many months and our mother has dementia so we cannot comment on many of the list below. But in the past, they have been very good.

My mother had advanced Dementia and spent her last 18 months of life at Queens Court and throughout her time there she was treated beautifully with respect, dignity, and with wonderful care by the friendly staff who have been there for a long time. There is no fast turnover and the management is topnotch, keeping on top of everything and always there to answer questions and to have a chat and see if everything was running smoothly. The home has a really happy atmosphere. Local primary children come and interact with the inhabitants and there are weekly music singsongs which my mother loved. Lots of outings happened and I also took my mother in her wheelchair to Wimbledon cafes and a small park. I was able to invite my mother's friends to lunch with her and it was very popular for the chance to see her and also the restaurant quality of the food! My mother was able to die quietly and peacefully in her bed in her room with her family around her. I highly recommend the home.

I needed fairly urgent respite care for my father who has dementia. The manager and her team were excellent in helping me to get very comfortable with the processes for Covid assuring me that the home was taking every responsibility for everyone's safety. My father was welcomed and made to feel very much at home. He clearly received excellent care during his four-week visit and visiting was well managed using the outdoor and garden spaces. We have used a care home before and this one is far superior, and I have confidence we will be using Queens Road again when required.

Queens Court Care Home has looked after my mother wonderfully for the last 5 years. All the staff genuinely care about the residents and go out of their way to give her the best care possible. Much is down to the care home manager who is an outstanding leader. Like any organisation with an effective manager, the care home thrives and operates like a well-oiled machine. The care home is beautifully decorated, the food is good, location excellent and the garden, although small, offers an area of respite for all the residents.

My sister suffers from dementia and has lived in Queens Court since December 2018. I am very touched and impressed with the warm, friendly care she has received. Initially, she found it difficult to settle and was treated with respect and patience and was helped to participate in activities. She adjusted to her situation and was happy. Special events like her birthday, staff celebrated with her family, Christmas - quartet music which she loves. So much I could say. She is now very ill - the nursing care is excellent.
