The care and support my mother has received over nearly three years in this Signature home have been excellent. The programme of activities means there is always a source of interest and stimulation - it also encourages social interaction. The staff team at Signature are so very customer focused - always listening to residents and finding ways to keep them happy. They also encourage friends and family to participate, and there is a real community spirit. Most staff go above and beyond in their work, and both my mother and I really appreciate their dedication - and sense of fun!
The team at Signature at Purley would firstly like to thank you for your kind words. We strive, as a team, to work closely with our residents so we can provide the very best care for each individual in our home, and we are glad to have made a difference.
My grandad has a fun time and was never sad there. Mu grandad loved the fish and chips on Fridays and loved the bowls on the carpet and gentleman club.
We are happy to hear that your grandfather enjoys this aspect of our home, and your kind words will be passed on to the team. We are thrilled to hear that our activities are a stand-out factor for your grandfather; there's always something new to do too.
My lovely friendly and old neighbour has had some bad news recently. Found out terminal cancer. After some looking around, she decided on Signature at Purley. And the best decision she ever made. Her room is beautiful, she enjoys a wide range of activities and nursing care is excellent.
We are glad to hear that your neighbour's having a positive experience at Signature, and we're thankful for your kind comments.
What a lovely place. All the staff are amazing! Clean, modern and spacious. Good food. Very attentive. Thank you!
That's wonderful to hear. Signature at Purley aims to stay attentive to their residents' needs for comfort and well-being.
As a resident of months, I arrived at Signature in a low state of health. Undergoing two weeks of investigations, an operation to put a feeding tube into my stomach. I had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and breast cancer. I was given a short time to live. With the care and kindness of the staff at Signature and the hospital, I am stronger and able to cope with the palliative care treatment. Enjoy all the benefits of Signature, which is now my home.
I am very happy here. The staff are very kind and helpful. The food is nice, and we have lots of things to do. At the moment, we have ducklings. Come here if you are lonely at home or not feeling well. All the staff will take care of you.
We are so glad to hear about your positive experience with Signature and thankful for your kind comments. As a team, we work together to provide the best experiences for both our residents and family members.
Signature at Purley is a wonderful care home, and all the staff are absolutely excellent in every way - going above and beyond and always with a smile and a greeting. The facilities are amazing, and the dining room always looks so lovely with the white tablecloths and pretty serviettes in glasses. It always looks hotel quality, which is quite something for a care home. The care and respect given to the residents are outstanding, and if there is any little niggle, it is dealt with promptly. The nurses there are so very caring and wonderful, and you really feel that they do care very, very much for their patients. Mum is really happy there, and we feel she could not be in a better place or looked after and cared for any better elsewhere. Thank you to everyone who works there - we know how hard you work!
The staff are amazing! They take time to be friends with my mother and deal and help with her needs efficiently and with a smile. My mother is very happy there - what more could I want!
My father-in-law was in Purley for his end of life care. He was very well looked after with great dignity and compassion in a room surrounded by his personal possessions, which made it familiar to him. We were all made very welcome, and staff also made sure we were ok if upset. It is a beautiful care home.
After looking at several other homes in the area, we chose this one as it was the best one we saw and felt like the right fit for my nan. We are now certain we made the right choice as she has settled in nicely and is well taken care of. The staff are lovely, and the food is good too; she even got a personalised cake and a tea party for her birthday, which really made her day.
Mum came straight to Signature at Purley from the hospital to be nearer her family towards the end. The whole moving in process handled by one lady was seamless - there were even little touches like flowers and her favourite chocolates to welcome her. The care she received was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. As for the nurses, their kindness meant the world to my brother and I. She’d previously been at Purley with our Dad for respite, and we had no hesitation deciding where her final days should be. A great number of staff remembered her from her previous stay and went out of their way to come and say hello. Because of her frailty, she didn’t want to do any of the activities (which looked great), but another lady still went to see her for a chat. Sunrise at Purley is highly recommended.
My family and I highly recommend Signature in Purley. A lovely place with lovely, very kind people.
I came to Signature at Purley for respite care after having a hip replacement operation. The care and kindness shown to me were excellent, maintaining my dignity. They got me well again. The food is excellent, with big portions and a varied menu. I will certainly come again if I need to.
We are so grateful to the staff and all at Signature for looking after our father so well in his final weeks in palliative care. The staff and management were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us in such a difficult time as a family. They took such care to get to know us and keep us updated and were such support at such a difficult time. One lady was an amazing point of contact throughout in getting him admitted as soon as possible and always responding promptly to any questions or queries.
Staff are really helpful and informative.
Very good facilities in her accommodation.
I am always met by friendly faces.
The team here at Sunrise of Purley would firstly like to thank you for your kind words. We strive, as a team, to work closely with our residents so we can provide the very best care for each individual in our home, and we are glad to have made a difference.
Good that activities have started again, but look forward to the assisted baking/cooking beginning. Congratulations on the last year with very few Covid cases. Sometimes find we go round in circles when asking for answers to particular concerns - we get there in the end.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Sunrise of Purley. Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents. We take great pride in ensuring we deliver high-quality care and facilities to make a difference to our residents and their families lives. Therefore, I’ve passed your feedback on to the rest of the team.
Caring and friendly carers, etc always very attentive. Reception staff always lovely. Mum mother-in-law is very happy at Sunrise of Purley.
We are so glad to hear your positive experience of Sunrise of Purley and thankful for your kind comments. As a team, we work together to provide the best experiences for both our residents and family members.
My mother has been a resident of Sunrise of Purley for the past three years, and she has been very well looked after by the whole team. The care team under the direction of the wonderful assisted living coordinator do an extraordinary job with care and attention to my mother's needs. The activities team are wonderfully creative and bring joy and happiness in everything they do. The food and beverage offer could be improved with more thought and attention to the quality of new ingredients purchased and dishes offered.
Our team here at Sunrise of Purley are so grateful for your comments. Our activities coordinator and the team, work hard to provide engaging and stimulating activities for all of our residents; we are so glad to hear the activities provided are one of your favourite elements of our home.
Mum lived for four happy years at Sunrise - she was so, so well cared for. In the last few weeks of her life, Mum received outstanding end of life care.
Firstly, please accept our sincere condolences for your recent loss, and thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Sunrise of Purley – particularly at such a difficult time. The team here are so grateful that your mum had such a positive experience of the home, and this extended to family members and friends.
