The staff are absolutely wonderful, caring, kind and friendly. They treat our loved one with compassion, patience and respect, and it is clear that they genuinely care about the residents and their well-being. The staff are always approachable and happy to help whenever we have any questions or concerns, which gives us great reassurance and peace of mind as family members.
We are particularly grateful that the staff keep us regularly informed about any appointments, updates, changes or concerns regarding our loved one. Good communication is very important to us, and we appreciate the time they take to ensure that we are kept up to date and involved in their care.

The room is always clean, tidy and well maintained, and it is lovely to see that attention is given to keeping the environment comfortable and pleasant. The overall atmosphere is welcoming, and whenever we visit, the staff greet us warmly and make us feel welcome. They are always friendly, polite and approachable.

Placing anybody into a home/care-home is distressing for any family and you know that everytime you visit you will be asked when can I go home? On the otherhand you know dementia does not improve over time, the carers are very good and the nurses are excellent, learning staff names is difficult for me so anyone suffering with dementia it must be a nightmare, there are restrictions within this carehome which I am not keen on but my wife and I have to live with but I won't explain here.

Since our son moved in at Vicarage Farm Care Home, we have noticed a great improvement in his health and well being. His communication and speaking has greatly improved. He has become more friendly with staff and family. I am highly pleased with the management team, who has provided us with support, encouragement and professional help. The nurses and staff are very supportive and hard working and made our son's stay enjoyable. The activities team are very professional and have been encouraging Samora and other residents with various activities and motivatating them emotionally, physically & mentally. Thank you!!

My mother in law has been in a few homes over her life time but I can honestly say this has been by far the best. They treat her like an individual and always aim to meet all her needs even when she can be difficult. We have visited my mother in law at all different times of the day and days of the week and the service is always second to none.
They have lots of activities available and always encourage my mother in law to take part (even on her grumpy days ).
The staff always go above and beyond to support my mother in law.
We are always kept update on her health issues should anything change, even small issues .

My friend has been at Vickerage Care Home for almost a year now . She had been in hospital for over year prior to her admission to the Care Home. The staff were excellent at helping her to settle in at her pace and in her own way. Since then, I cannot thank or praise the staff enough for all their care and support of all the residents not just my friend. From management down, all the staff are fully committed and involved with the care and attention that individuals need. Customs and religions are fully respected and these are included in the daily activities when appropriate.
The activities co ordinators spend much time ensuring that residents are kept busy and involved as much as they can. There is always something going on.
Although I do not like leaving my friend at the end of my visit, I can completely relax, knowing she is well looked after and staff are excellent at keeping me informed of anyything I need to know.

My father has very complex needs and Vicarage Farm is his third care home in 7 months. Since he arrived here the staff have been so impressive. As soon as you walk in the front door the managers and admin staff greet you personally and the nurses and care assistants really know the residents and take time to update you on how the family member is doing.
Particularly impressive is the rota of activities - I have visited on different days of the week and the activities are always as planned. Whether the resident decides to take part or not, the routine is clearly beneficial for all.

I have run out of words to describe the incredible staff of the vicarage farm care home from the management at the top who clearly select carefully their staff all the way throughout to those who help keep the place organised and clean.
For me personally there is nothing harder than leaving a loved one in the care of others due to limitations in being able to provide them what is needed myself. However, they make me always feel I'm leaving my father in his home and with family such is the atmosphere they create at the care home and the kind diligent care they provide.

The registered nurses and care staff are not only highly professional and clinical skilled, but they also treat residents with the utmost dignity and respect. They are incredibly attentive to changing medical needs, manage medications flawlessly, and communicate updates to our family immediately. After a few teething issues when mum moved in (due to complex needs) mum has settled well into the care home. Staff are caring and will do anything to ensure mum is looked after and happy. Activities are great, the deputy manager and office staff are always helpful, the kitchen staff are fantastic, and just in general all staff are lovely. Nurses communicate exceptionally. It is not easy looking after complex needs and they do their very best to look after mum.

My mum has now been in the nursing home for just over a year. The care she has received has been amazing. It's always daunting putting a loved one into the care of others, but I have had no concerns in the year my mum has been at Vicarage Farm. She is always clean and smiling, and whenever she sees...
My mum has now been in the nursing home for just over a year. The care she has received has been amazing. It's always daunting putting a loved one into the care of others, but I have had no concerns in the year my mum has been at Vicarage Farm. She is always clean and smiling, and whenever she sees the nurses and carers, she is smiling ear to ear and is so happy to see them which gives me great peace of mind. The home is always clean and tidy, as is my mum's room. There are always activities and things happening when we go to visit, and they are super inclusive of all special dates within the year. The staff have treated me and my husband with the utmost care and are always super friendly and happy to answer any questions. The manager always has time to give updates on my mum and is always so pleasant to talk to!
I appreciate everything the home has done for my mum and her family and know that this good care will continue.

Overall Experience
My uncle has been living in the nursing home since April 2017. There has been significant improvement made over the past four years, which is a credit to the owners and staff. All staff are very friendly, and they care about the residents.
