My experience at Capwell Grange was a good one. I was there nearly 4 weeks and the staff became a family to me although my own family are amazing. The physios and staff got me back on my feet and my confidence returned. As I have had MS for many years was not an easy achievement. I have now returned home with carers attending.
My mum stayed here after she left hospital. The home is very lovely and the staff are very nice. They have looked after mum really well. I was dubious as it's the first time she has been in a home but I needed not have worried.
My experience here was nothing by pleasant and peaceful. Everybody here made me feel safe and helped me with my recovery. All the staff are amazing, always smiling and helpful. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.
The rooms are well equipped and clean.
My friend says the food is good, so everything is good to help the patients feel comfortable and aid in their recovery.
I am pleased to say that my experience at Capwell Grange Care Home was very satisfactory. All staff were polite & helpful and made you feel at home.
Mum was discharged from hospital to Capwell Grange. This was the best failed discharge ever. Mum was treated with dignity and respect right from the word go. The team treated her with such care and attention, and they kept me informed all the time. Even though Mum's time at Capwell Grange was short we were so pleased her final days were peaceful, calm and very well looked after. We cannot thank you enough.
My husband was brought into Capwell Grange, Milliner House, just before Christmas. Our family actually wanted him to be here because of its lovely setting, and good reputation. The management and carers have been excellent/amazing. The love and care they show for each person, (even through very difficult times) has been outstanding. I visit my husband daily for between 2-4 hours, depending on his needs, so I have a good idea what happens there. I have spoken to other relatives visiting and they have all spoken highly of the place and staff. The food is lovely, with large portions as well.
I would personally like to thank the hard working staff. The care managers for making her final journey as comfortable as it possibly could have been.
We'd like to take a moment to thank you for leaving such a wonderful review of our home. We are pleased to hear you were very happy with the quality of care your mother received at Capwell Grange care home kindness is at the heart of everything we do. Mum is always happy and well cared for. Staff are friendly and genuinely care for the residents. There is always a great vibe in the lounge area and everyone is welcome.
Overall I'm pleased that I chose Capwell Grange. The staff are professional but also friendly and caring. The rooms are basic and functional rather than luxurious but perfectly acceptable considering my wife's condition. Similarly the food is quite repetitive but this is understandable because she is on a pureed vegetarian diet. She is unable to join in any activities but the staff make sure she has access to music which is her only remaining pleasure. The most important thing is that I can leave my wife and be confident that she will be safe and looked after.
Care staff very good. Food excellent. Physio staff very helpful. My sisters recovery was good.
There is a relaxed atmosphere where visitors are made to feel extremely welcome and are encouraged to inform the staff if they have any concerns or require anything.
In what can sometimes be a very challenging and testing environment, I have found the staff to always be professional and reassuring.
I was treated with the upmost care. The staff were very caring and patient with me, encouraging me every day to do the best I could and I am now going home confident that I shall be able to look after myself with the minimum of help. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff, they really are dedicated and caring. Thanks a million for all you have done.
Capwell Grange is a wonderful care home. Very well run. The carers are so kind, caring and loving. Nothing is too much trouble. There is always someone there to put my mind at rest if I feel troubled for any reason. I am so grateful for everything. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I cannot praise it enough.
Thank you for looking after her.
Answering calls is not good, sometimes waiting for reply 15-20 minutes.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We appreciate your largely positive feedback and have taken on board your comments about the response times to phone calls to the home. We have a system in place whereby if a call cannot be...
So well cared from by all the staff day and night by the physio that got me walking again after a broken hip the nurses that helped me in every way to keep pain-free, to all the carers that washed and dressed me waited on me all day with lovely food.
My mother is being held against her will at Capwell Grange, Leagrave. The Home is owned by HC-One. The home is dirty, and run by staff who show the elderly no dignity and who mostly don't speak English. I witnessed and posted on another platform, a video of staff hanging around in corridors, playing on their phone having a laugh with each other in the day room. When questioned about the lack of care, I was told to leave and they called the Police, in front of my mum. She cries every day, yesterday I had to try and see her through a window before they closed the curtains. With the audio interviews I have and the media interest, the contract for HC-One will be removed. No fans, no water, just left in soiled nappies to die. The owner called me up and asked me to take down the posts using coercion. CQC are on it.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as it helps us to make improvements where required. At Capwell Grange, our Residents’ wellbeing is our top priority. We were sorry to hear of your concerns and hope our conversations with you were able to reassure you about your Mother’s care. We...
Bonnetti House was a very good experience. It helped me recover from an operation after breaking my leg. At 98 I felt in need of some extra support to get moving again. The very good help and support from the staff helped my environment
Good service, excellent staff, treated very well. Thank you very much.
