I have had a wonderful experience here. All the staff are so caring and nothing is too much trouble. Very professional but at the same time, friendly. I would not say anything negative about my stay here. They are such a wonderful team. The food has been excellent also. I will be sorry to leave as I
feel I've made friends here and wish everyone all the best. I couldn't ask to stay in a better place.

The staff are excellent on every level. Nurses, carers, kitchen and cleaning staff. I was in Bonetti House and the manager and under manager were second to none. The food at times leaves something to be desired but efforts are made to correct any dislikes.
Physios and occupational therapist are all
first class.

This facility is absolutely lovely. It is set on beautiful grounds, the rooms themselves are quite nice and most important of all, the staff are simply brilliant! They are as helpful and genuine as they are caring and professional, the rehab team is superb and the food is generally passable. All in
all, I would give Capwell Grange a 10 out of 10 except, and it is a very big except, they are so understaffed it is not funny. You can wait up to 2 hours for your call bell to be answered! Now that could be for one of two reasons: one, there are not enough staff to meet the requirements of the residents (meaning you will have residents pressing their call bells and not enough staff to respond) or two, their equipment doesn’t always work. So for example that call button I just mentioned - it does not always call.
However both of these issues are being addressed and once they are, Capwell gets a 10/10 from me!

I stayed in Bonnetti House after a month in ICU. The care I received during my rehabilitation was exceptional. All staff were kind and caring, making time for me and the other residents. They were extremely hard working and professional. I felt I received wonderful care and would not have recovered
as quickly as I did without their unwavering support and positivity.

When I was admitted to Capwell Grange after COVID-19 I was only able to walk a few steps with a walking frame. Within 4 weeks, I am now pretty well fairly mobile again. All aspects of the care and therapy have been excellent and I have enjoyed my stay immensely.

I attended Capwell Grange following two spinal surgeries at hospital. Received physiotherapy to get walking again. Was happy with the physio I received although covid-19 restrictions hindered my progress. Found the staff helpful and considerate during my stay. Would recommend rehab here for anybody
that was in my situation.

Fedora House staff are very welcoming and look after the patients with dignity and work very hard to cover every need the patient and family require. Cannot fault the care they have given my aunt. Our Mum has been a resident at Capwell Grange since February. Over time the nurses and carers in Bonetti have got to know her very well, and during our visits we see them being really warm, kind and friendly towards Mum. They help her at mealtimes, and not only is she eating more, Mum really enjoys
the 1-1 company. On her birthday this week, the staff decorated her room and gave her a birthday cake with candles and sang her happy birthday. Communication with us is very good and we have formed strong relationships with all of the staff we have met. Mum is taken to the hairdresser each week which is good for her well being and she comes back looking great. We have been kept informed about the recruitment of new managers at the home, and we see them around a lot more. They always listen if we have any concerns and swiftly respond to resolve any issues. We are beginning to see the positive impact of the recent changes they are making, for example with Mums care plan. Thank you!

A very pleasant environment. Happy people make you feel at ease immediately.

The home is good because the staff are very caring and hard working. Residents are treated well and with dignity. Activities offered are good and the staff have worked hard to make the garden a lovely area. Unfortunately, work on the outside - with neglected communal areas has not been good, although,
lately that seems to be coming under more maintenance. In general, the fabric of the building has been neglected and it is difficult for the staff to replace equipment eg, wheelchairs. The staff make the home a good place.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Nicky has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Nicky has been a Care Home Manager for 14 years and will be involved in the general running of the home as well as ensuring all the Residents are safe, happy and are given the best care possible. She will provide a safe work environment for colleagues and ensure they have the skills and abilities to care for all our Residents.


Having lived in Luton for most of her life, Nicky works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Capwell Grange.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Nicky remarked:


“Supporting a team to improve quality of care and achieve positive outcomes for those that reside in the Care Home.”


Outside of work, Nicky enjoys walking her dog, caring for her grandchildren and she is also a fan of reading fictional crime books.
