However both of these issues are being addressed and once they are, Capwell gets a 10/10 from me!
Thank you for your very positive feedback regarding your stay in Capwell Grange. I am sorry you felt the care home staffing levels were not to your satisfaction and the call bell not answered promptly. We did have the opportunity to discuss this with you during your short stay with us and offered...
I stayed in Bonnetti House after a month in ICU. The care I received during my rehabilitation was exceptional. All staff were kind and caring, making time for me and the other residents. They were extremely hard working and professional. I felt I received wonderful care and would not have recovered as quickly as I did without their unwavering support and positivity.
When I was admitted to Capwell Grange after COVID-19 I was only able to walk a few steps with a walking frame. Within 4 weeks, I am now pretty well fairly mobile again. All aspects of the care and therapy have been excellent and I have enjoyed my stay immensely.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I found my room a bit chilly, but otherwise comfortable.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review which I will share with the staff team, who I am sure will be grateful. I am very sorry to hear about your room being chilly, I understand that the home manager arranged for contractors to adjust the window to ensure it has a better fit. We are...
I enjoyed my stay at Capwell Grange Care Home, I found it very enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant and made me feel very welcome, I will be very pleased to welcome any people I meet. Until next time it's goodbye and thanks a lot. God Bless.
I attended Capwell Grange following two spinal surgeries at hospital. Received physiotherapy to get walking again. Was happy with the physio I received although covid-19 restrictions hindered my progress. Found the staff helpful and considerate during my stay. Would recommend rehab here for anybody that was in my situation.
The carers have been very good. No complaints.
This has been one of the best places I've been. I have enjoyed being here and the care has been great. I have improved so much I am now going home so thank you all very much.
All the staff were very pleasant and caring and I felt like they went out of their way to ensure that the residents were very comfortable. I wouldn’t mind living there myself. Top marks to all the carers, cleaners, cooks and nurses. Five stars all the way.
Fedora House staff are very welcoming and look after the patients with dignity and work very hard to cover every need the patient and family require. Cannot fault the care they have given my aunt. The staff are very compassionate not only to patients but also family and friends. The whole team are brilliant.
The service, politeness and professionalism you have shown to my wife and to me as a visitor is absolutely second to none and it is a pleasure to come here to visit her.
Cheery place, staff very good. My husband is not mobile, therefore not so much to do but watch television. Needed more stimulation (he does not have dementia).
Thank you for very much for your review. We are continuing to implement some exciting wellbeing opportunities to enhance the life of the residents we provide care to and we are working with our Wellbeing Activities Team to ensure that any person who is unable to leave their room is provided with...
Our Mum has been a resident at Capwell Grange since February. Over time the nurses and carers in Bonetti have got to know her very well, and during our visits we see them being really warm, kind and friendly towards Mum. They help her at mealtimes, and not only is she eating more, Mum really enjoys the 1-1 company. On her birthday this week, the staff decorated her room and gave her a birthday cake with candles and sang her happy birthday. Communication with us is very good and we have formed strong relationships with all of the staff we have met. Mum is taken to the hairdresser each week which is good for her well being and she comes back looking great. We have been kept informed about the recruitment of new managers at the home, and we see them around a lot more. They always listen if we have any concerns and swiftly respond to resolve any issues. We are beginning to see the positive impact of the recent changes they are making, for example with Mums care plan. Thank you!
Good care is taken of you. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The food is very good and substantial meals served twice a day. The choice of food for breakfast from cooked to cereal and toast. All in all very good and a happy place to recover.
My son's teeth need some attention, he is unable to do this himself because he has no use in his right hand.
Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us improve our service. We are very sorry for the upset this matter has caused you. Having spoken with you, we have agreed your son will have carer support to assist him with his dental hygiene needs twice daily. This will be documented...
The home is good because the staff are very caring and hard working. Residents are treated well and with dignity. Activities offered are good and the staff have worked hard to make the garden a lovely area. Unfortunately, work on the outside - with neglected communal areas has not been good, although, lately that seems to be coming under more maintenance. In general, the fabric of the building has been neglected and it is difficult for the staff to replace equipment eg, wheelchairs. The staff make the home a good place.
Thank you for your recent positive feedback regarding the staff and care shown to Residents. Following our discussion, I confirm that we are identifying areas that require painting and decorating and general maintenance issues. We now have a full maintenance team with a plan of works to improve the...
Staff are all good and caring. Friendly and happy.
All staff at Capwell Grange have been very supportive. The care and support my dad received was very good and he was treated with dignity. The staff were friendly, polite and caring.
Mum seems to have settled in well thanks to the kindness of the staff. She has a comfortable room, although it is in need of modernisation. The food is good. There is always plenty of staff on duty during the day so mum always has somebody to talk to. I always feel that family are made welcome as well which is lovely. Mum has only had one worry since being in Capwell Grange Care Home but we have made the manager aware and have been assured it will be monitored and dealt with as necessary.
Haley House staff are always kind and understanding.
