My mother has been here since March 2023, my father was a resident 2013-2016. Good number of same staff during this time which reflects a happy + motivated team. I have total confidence in managements + staffing which gives me peace of mind. Regular contact with staff + observations show them to be committed + well trained. The manager has an open door policy + always approachable + visable; empathetic in dealing with occasional issues.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and kind - food always looks amazing and the cakes are lovely :)
Thank you so much for the positive feedback .It is much appreciated ,our staff team will be informed.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! Always great to hear from our residents' relatives about the care that our team are giving.
My very intelligent son came to Chalfont Lodge aged 41 following a blood clot on the brain. Fed with a peg, told he would never walk again, and little mental capacity. Everyone helpful and friendly and the home felt like a home. He is contented and has improved physically and mentally in the 15 years he's been there. My husband and I have always been supported and welcomed by the staff and know my son is well cared for. Only down side, nicer to have a shower in room instead of usual bath, and lots of outside space could do with extra grounsmen or be sold (just a small overgrown bit)
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. Our team is glad to hear you have peace of mind knowing your Son is well taken care of. We will continue to support your loved one. We welcome any suggestions to improve our service.
My friend has been in Chalfont Lodge for over a year now and I am still impressed by the care and respect received by the residents. On entering there is always a warm reception. The residents and visitors can always feel the staff are approachable. They have spacious rooms if they want their privacy and there are also spacious lounges. They have wide variety of social activities to suit everyone. Chalfont Lodge is in a lovely location and my friend tells us often how happy she is.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! Always great to hear from our residents' friends about the care that our team are giving.

I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years. I graduated from King's College, London. I have worked in a variety of health & social care settings throughout my career, including NHS & private hospitals, rehabilitation, long-term care, project management, education & dementia care.
I am committed to delivering the very highest standard of care to residents within the home, offering them an opportunity to enjoy life. I enjoy leading my team in a way in which they are empowered to use their skills, knowledge & experience for the well-being of those we support.

Hello! I am Ovi and I am proud to say I am the Clinical Deputy Manager of Chalfont Lodge Care Home. I have progressed from Clinical Lead to my most recent role of Deputy Manager and I am extremely proud to work for Chalfont Lodge.
Myself and our team are really looking forward to welcoming you to our home for a tour, at anytime.

Hi, I'm Raluca I am the clinical lead for Chalfont Lodge. I’ve been a nurse for over 5 years and I can’t imagine doing anything else!

Hello, my name is Maria and I'm the Head of our Turnberry community. I love being a nurse and helping people. I have a wonderful team and love being a part of the Chalfont Lodge Community!

I joined Barchester in 2019 as a carer and have recently been promoted to Head of Sunningdale. I am dedicated to the well-being of our residents and ensuring they receive the best care.

I joined Barchester in 2017 as an administrator at another nursing home in High Wycombe and recently transferred to Chalfont Lodge. Having raised a family, my career started in the customer service/financial sector, working for various organisations. Having always been a people person, it has been so rewarding getting to know all our lovely residents and families. I love being part of a team that is passionate about providing high-quality care and exceptional service.

Hi, I am Zibi, and I have been working at Chalfont Lodge since 2014, when I joined as the 2nd chef. During the last 7 years, I have got to know our residents well, all the special meals they enjoy and helped to celebrate their special occasions like birthdays and special family days.
I have worked in a variety of places, hotels locally and in VIP private hospitality with the well-known chef Michel Roux
I'm very proud to have been promoted to Head Chef here at Chalfont Lodge and look forward to delivering even more fantastic food with my team for the people living and visiting the home.

With over seven years of experience in facilities management across diverse sectors, including private care and education, I have developed a strong expertise in overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations. I am passionate about problem-solving and take pride in my ability to address challenges of any scale. Whether it's routine maintenance or more complex issues, I am committed to finding effective, resourceful solutions.

Hi, I'm Dil and I’m the Head housekeeper at Chalfont Lodge. I love making sure the home is a lovely environment for everyone to enjoy!

I’ve worked at Chalfont Lodge for a year and absolutely love my role. I am passionate about creating meaningful, person-centred activities that bring joy, purpose, and enrichment to our residents’ lives. No two days are ever the same, and seeing residents smile, engage, and enjoy special moments makes my job incredibly rewarding. Chalfont Lodge feels more like a home than a workplace, and I feel privileged to be part of such a warm and caring community.

Hi, my name is Isabel, but I go by Izzy. I qualified as a Music Therapist in 2015 from Anglia Ruskin University and lived and worked in Cambridge for some years. I completed my second master's in Mental Health Science in 2020 whilst living in France before moving to Bucks to work across three NHS hospitals specialising in dementia and rehabilitation. I am passionate about the power of music and music therapy for older people and those living with dementia, and about strengthening connections between research and practice. As well as working for Barchester, I run community choirs and teach the piano locally, and in my spare time, I enjoy yoga and spending time outdoors.

My name is Jaymin Aakvod, and I am an HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with a passion for rehabilitation and helping people achieve greater independence and quality of life. With a background in physiotherapy across clinical and care settings, I have developed a strong interest in supporting individuals through their recovery journey with a patient-centred and compassionate approach.
I have experience working with a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal problems, neurological conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, mobility challenges, and long-term conditions. I believe every person is unique, and effective rehabilitation is not only about treatment techniques but also about understanding each individual’s goals, building trust, and working together as part of a multidisciplinary team.
I am passionate about continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and delivering high-quality care that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I value teamwork, respect, and communication, and I strive to bring a positive and supportive approach to every patient interaction.
My aim is simple: to help people regain confidence, improve their function, and live as independently as possible through personalised and compassionate physiotherapy care.
