The home itself is spotlessly clean. The residents are well cared for and stimulated. My mother, in particular, enjoys the dancing and singing! Recently, there has been a mini Olympics, summer BBQ on the terrace and fabulous Diwali celebrations where some staff and residents wore traditional Indian clothes followed by a dance show and delicious Indian food.

All the staff have been very helpful with the care of my Dad. He was always comfortable and kept him happy. Everyone has always made us welcome, Thank you.

My mother stayed until her passing yesterday. She was looked after with amazing care and genuine love from the staff. Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home has always been a lovely place to visit with wonderful refreshments and the beautiful lake and view and patio. My father was also cared for brilliantly when he came for a shorter stay. Mum also came to love all the activities on offer.

My mother has been at Chalfont Lodge Care Home for 18 months and she is immensely happy here. The staff are very warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Mum is very well cared for and her day is filled with stimulating activities and social opportunities. I can highly recommend the home. It is a place full of happiness and goodwill.

The staff at Chalfont Lodge Care Home could not have looked after my mother any better, she was very well cared for by all the staff. They were always friendly and cheerful and made my mother very happy to be at Chalfont. Well done to all the staff.

My experience is that the carers and staff are all extremely kind and caring to my aunt. She is clean, happy and so well looked after. Her room is clean and tidy. Everyone is helpful to our family and we are so happy we chose Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home to care for our aunt.

Thank goodness you are taking care of my dad. He has had a hard time in other places and really, you have rescued him. Hos one to one carers are strong, stable, quiet and kind and he likes them. Thanks very much indeed: I hope he will soon be able to participate in some of the enjoyable activities. Living in Scotland, my mind is more at rest knowing my dad is here.

I attended the BBQ on Sunday, the food was beautiful and there was a good selection. The staff were very kind and attentive. You can see that they care about the residents. I can see that my grandad is very happy here. The entertainment could have been better. As a vocalist/performer myself, I wasn't impressed with the lady who performed, unfortunately.

I visited an old friend of mine for the day who lives at Chalfont Lodge. I was blown away by how happy he is! To quote him 'It's like living in a Hotel!' He is not wrong! The staff were so attentive and so welcoming. We enjoyed a really lovely three-course lunch on the terrace and we were able to catch up on old times. The food was superb and I certainly can see why my friend is so happy there! He told me how he spends his days, doing all sorts of activities and singing. He also said he has made some good friends and introduced me to some other residents. The grounds of the Home make this place very special. I am so glad my old friend is being so well looked after. I was always happy with the level of care. My mother was well cared for. She never complained about anything. She didn't develop any problems while there.

My mum passed away in July after two of the most wonderful years at Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home. We were welcomed as a family from day one and made to feel like we were at home. I cannot fault Chalfont Lodge. From the wonderful staff to the services and extramural activities. The staff are angels and prove that not all heroes wear capes or wings. Thank you everyone for taking such good care of my beloved mum. We, as a family, cannot thank everyone enough.

I have been a resident at Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home for many years and that says a lot. The home has given me a 'home' over a long time, providing excellent care and a place of sanctuary. In each department, whether it be from cleaning to caring, all the staff are so polite, kind, helpful and above all, extremely professional. The home is situated in such ideal surroundings and it is such a joy for me to be able to look out my window and have a view of nothing but greenery, flowers, trees and much wildlife. Also, to be able to be outside, relishing this and relaxing in the sun. Moments spent in the company of the other residents, building relationships, making friends is such a huge part of life here, which is so important for me and fundamental. Being involved with a wide range of activities gives me a lot of pleasure, joining a group or just watching is such fun. Above all, the home is managed extremely well and nothing is too much trouble, all my needs are met. All the staff are incredible.

A few weeks ago I decided, after reviewing other homes, that Chalfont Lodge was the best one available. My mother is nearly 95 years old, with Alzheimer's. The staff here are all, without exception, fantastic. I feel very comfortable leaving my mother here. If anyone would like to call me for references, please feel free. I would 100% recommend this nursing home.

When it came to end-of-life care, the team were organised and communicated with us with great respect and care. We would highly recommend Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home to take great care of your loved ones.
