Previously the managers were changed far too frequently. The current manager has been in place for several years and the benefits are evident. The quality and consistency of the facilities, activities and general atmospherics has visibly improved in recent times.
Thank you so much for the positive feedback. It's a pleasure for us to be able to provide the service. We are continuously looking to improve our service and will share your feedback with the team.
We genuinely feel that, in her declining years, we have done the best for my sister in terms of care, comfort and services.
Dear Gordon, thank you so much for the positive feedback. We are happy to be able to meet her needs. I will share your feedback with the team.
My mother, with severe dementia, was a resident at Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home for several years and it was the most settled she has been in a care home. The level of care from the dedicated staff was excellent and it is one of the best care homes in terms of facilities and setting that I have experienced. She was really well looked after.
Dear Richard, thank you so much for your kind feedback, we are very grateful to receive. I will share with the team.
Although the food is plentiful, the portions are small and not overwhelming.
Dear Carmelina, thank you so much for the positive feedback, it was a pleasure for us to accommodate you in Chalfont. I will share your feedback with colleagues.

My friend was here for approximately 18 months, very happy and received good care while here. The home always welcoming and very clean.

Excellent nursing care. Care team considers each patient's needs.
Very clean and beautifully maintained, comfortable rooms with views. I give five stars to all concerned.
Great, warm welcome at reception daily. They know each resident and their families by name.

Dear Sharon, thank you so much for your kind feedback. It is very much appreciated. I will share this with the team.
Whilst Dad was only at Barchester Chalfont Lodge a brief time, I cannot fault the team at Chalfont Lodge. Everyone was compassionate, caring, professional and just lovely. All the team took the time to not only get to learn about and interact with Dad but they were looking after us at this difficult time. Could not wish for a better place for Dad to have been.
Dear A, Thank you so much for the kind review. We are pleased to hear it and I will share it with the team.
The home itself is beautifully appointed, in lovely countryside. It felt like my partner's own home. My partner was so well looked after, with loving kindness. They were absolutely wonderful and all the staff so kind and caring. I cannot recommend this home too highly.
Dear Ann, Thank you for the kind review, it is much appreciated, I will share it with the team.
A certain member of staff (as with all staff members) at Chalfont Lodge Care Home is beyond exemplary, as they genuinely care and this is evident from the personal attention to my mother and to ourselves. We are all known by our first names but treated professionally and with respect. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this individual in particular.
Thank you so much for your kind reviews, I will share your comments and feedback with the team.
My father was admitted to Chalfont from hospital in October 2022. I was always very happy with the way my father was treated and cared for. He had dementia and Alzheimer's, but this did not diminish the care and respect he was given by the Manager, Administrator, Head Of Turnberry and all the team. He was so kindly managed through his final three weeks of life and died comfortably and peacefully. The staff have all been very kind and caring, a lovely home and experience.
Thank you so much for your kind review, I will share with the team.
It was a joy to visit each day, and whilst leaving her was difficult, we felt we knew she was being well cared-for all the time that we were not there.
Thank you for your kind review, it was a pleasure for us to take care of your mum. I will share your feedback with the team.
All the staff displayed great care and consideration at all times and under some difficult conditions.
I cannot recommend highly enough Chalfont Lodge Nursing and Care Home.
Thank you so much for your review, it was a pleasure for our staff to get to know your wife and being with us. I will feedback to the team.
My mother-in-law was extremely well cared for and as comfortable as possible, making her last few weeks as nice as could be in the circumstances.
If Barchester have an awards/recognition scheme, then I would happily recommend the home and its staff for an award.
Thank you so much for the nice feedback, we really appreciate it and I will share it with the team and continue to develop our services.
The registered nurse welcomed me in this place with a smile and I love my room. The girls are loving and I feel comfortable here. I want to live here forever. My friends who come to visit here and children are happy I am living here.
Thank you so much, Michelle, we are happy to receive your feedback, I will share your feedback with colleagues.
Staff are friendly, hard-working and compassionate. My husband is happy here and comfortable.
I came to Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home to recuperate and have daily physiotherapy after a knee replacement. I was extremely impressed with my room on the ground floor with a wet room en suite. The dining room was pretty and inviting with proper linen tablecloths and napkins and the food was varied and beautifully cooked - the only thing to mention is that it was sometimes lukewarm but a minor criticism overall. My ultimate praises go to the staff - carers, nurses, physiotherapists, cleaners and admin. who could not have been kinder or more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always cheerful and smiling. I was only at the Lodge for two weeks but it made an enormous difference to how I was able to cope on returning home. Thanks to everyone who helped my recovery.
Dear Carole thank you so much for your feedback. It was nice having you at Chalfont, I will share your comments with the team.
Everyone, from the receptionist to the management, is absolutely helpful and so very polite. The rooms and facilities are immaculate. The general atmosphere is friendly and calm, a place I would always recommend.
Dear Donald, thank you so much for the feedback, we really appreciate it and will share it with the team and continue to develop our services. I am happy to meet with you and seek more information in order to improve the service.

I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years. I graduated from King's College, London. I have worked in a variety of health & social care settings throughout my career, including NHS & private hospitals, rehabilitation, long-term care, project management, education & dementia care.
I am committed to delivering the very highest standard of care to residents within the home, offering them an opportunity to enjoy life. I enjoy leading my team in a way in which they are empowered to use their skills, knowledge & experience for the well-being of those we support.

Hello! I am Ovi and I am proud to say I am the Clinical Deputy Manager of Chalfont Lodge Care Home. I have progressed from Clinical Lead to my most recent role of Deputy Manager and I am extremely proud to work for Chalfont Lodge.
Myself and our team are really looking forward to welcoming you to our home for a tour, at anytime.

Hi, I'm Raluca I am the clinical lead for Chalfont Lodge. I’ve been a nurse for over 5 years and I can’t imagine doing anything else!

Hello, my name is Maria and I'm the Head of our Turnberry community. I love being a nurse and helping people. I have a wonderful team and love being a part of the Chalfont Lodge Community!

I joined Barchester in 2019 as a carer and have recently been promoted to Head of Sunningdale. I am dedicated to the well-being of our residents and ensuring they receive the best care.

I joined Barchester in 2017 as an administrator at another nursing home in High Wycombe and recently transferred to Chalfont Lodge. Having raised a family, my career started in the customer service/financial sector, working for various organisations. Having always been a people person, it has been so rewarding getting to know all our lovely residents and families. I love being part of a team that is passionate about providing high-quality care and exceptional service.

Hi, I am Zibi, and I have been working at Chalfont Lodge since 2014, when I joined as the 2nd chef. During the last 7 years, I have got to know our residents well, all the special meals they enjoy and helped to celebrate their special occasions like birthdays and special family days.
I have worked in a variety of places, hotels locally and in VIP private hospitality with the well-known chef Michel Roux
I'm very proud to have been promoted to Head Chef here at Chalfont Lodge and look forward to delivering even more fantastic food with my team for the people living and visiting the home.

With over seven years of experience in facilities management across diverse sectors, including private care and education, I have developed a strong expertise in overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations. I am passionate about problem-solving and take pride in my ability to address challenges of any scale. Whether it's routine maintenance or more complex issues, I am committed to finding effective, resourceful solutions.

Hi, I'm Dil and I’m the Head housekeeper at Chalfont Lodge. I love making sure the home is a lovely environment for everyone to enjoy!

I’ve worked at Chalfont Lodge for a year and absolutely love my role. I am passionate about creating meaningful, person-centred activities that bring joy, purpose, and enrichment to our residents’ lives. No two days are ever the same, and seeing residents smile, engage, and enjoy special moments makes my job incredibly rewarding. Chalfont Lodge feels more like a home than a workplace, and I feel privileged to be part of such a warm and caring community.

Hi, my name is Isabel, but I go by Izzy. I qualified as a Music Therapist in 2015 from Anglia Ruskin University and lived and worked in Cambridge for some years. I completed my second master's in Mental Health Science in 2020 whilst living in France before moving to Bucks to work across three NHS hospitals specialising in dementia and rehabilitation. I am passionate about the power of music and music therapy for older people and those living with dementia, and about strengthening connections between research and practice. As well as working for Barchester, I run community choirs and teach the piano locally, and in my spare time, I enjoy yoga and spending time outdoors.

My name is Jaymin Aakvod, and I am an HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with a passion for rehabilitation and helping people achieve greater independence and quality of life. With a background in physiotherapy across clinical and care settings, I have developed a strong interest in supporting individuals through their recovery journey with a patient-centred and compassionate approach.
I have experience working with a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal problems, neurological conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, mobility challenges, and long-term conditions. I believe every person is unique, and effective rehabilitation is not only about treatment techniques but also about understanding each individual’s goals, building trust, and working together as part of a multidisciplinary team.
I am passionate about continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and delivering high-quality care that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I value teamwork, respect, and communication, and I strive to bring a positive and supportive approach to every patient interaction.
My aim is simple: to help people regain confidence, improve their function, and live as independently as possible through personalised and compassionate physiotherapy care.
