Oak House is a modern care home situated in a tranquil, residential area of Slough. The dedicated team provides personalised nursing, residential and dementia care for older people on a permanent and respite basis.

The purpose-built home is organised into eight suites, each having its own dining room and stylish lounge area. The home also has spacious bedrooms, a cinema room and a hair salon with two visiting hair stylists. With over an acre of grounds, including secure, landscaped gardens and courtyards, in warmer weather residents and visitors can enjoy spending time in the sunshine.

The friendly team enjoys building good relationships with residents' loved ones, as they share the same goal of making sure residents are happy, comfortable and settled.

an agreed hourly charge for this service.

I enjoyed visiting Oak House care home when I went to visit a friend who resides there. The atmosphere was very nice and the cakes and coffee at the main reception were very tasty. I have also had the pleasure of viewing the sensory room (namaste) which was very relaxing and looked very beautiful. The
lounge was very clean and the staff are very nice on the ground floor.

I have visited a few care and nursing homes over the years. This one is outstanding. The care and attention my aunt receives is first-class. Every time I visit, she is always perfectly dressed. There is always a nurse or carer very close by. The food looks wonderful. There is a cafe to take my aunt
to with tea and biscuits. The staff are always happy and friendly, from the receptionist to the carers and nurses, catering staff and cleaners. I cannot rate this home highly enough.

My mum went for respite care for the first time at Oak House. All staff, from reception, care staff, cleaners and management are all very friendly, and you can see that they all care about the people in their care. Mum was very happy while staying there, and it’s peace of mind for the family to know
that she is being looked after so well - it’s like it’s a second home for Mum. Thank you all so much for all your hard work and dedication.

My mum has lived at Oak House for a little while. The care staff and nurses in Mum's unit are very good. Home Manager and reception staff are very helpful. Activities are taken to Mum's room to see if she wants to join in. I would recommend it to other families.

The staff were wonderful and gave my mum such a nice birthday. We are truly thankful for the care they provide to her. The fact she is still alive is down to the care that has been provided over the last nine years.

Having visited many nursing homes over the last 30yrs Oak House is by far the best. Best in terms of quality of care, quality of facilities and quality of location.

I would recommend the home to family and friends. From the first moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The care home was very clean and tidy, the staff and carers were polite and caring, the room was kept clean at all times.

Father in law is well looked after on floor one highway. He likes the food and eats well. His needs are all met by the carers and there is a good relationship between him and the carers. The carers like him and he likes them. The nurse on the floor communicates with the family whenever any incident
occurs. The entertainment is interesting and the receptionist on entry is very friendly and helpful.

I had gone to visit my dear friend's parents who are being looked after here. Greeted with such friendly staff within the first 10 minutes talking like it's one big family.
I had the pleasure of having a good look around and the residents I came across seemed really happy. Comfortable and safe environment
along with many activities.
I was really impressed with the room sizes. All testament to such kind and warm caring staff. Just how it should be.


My friend's parents are at a challenging time of life and it’s being made easy for them I was so pleased to see them look so relaxed and happy.

I am overwhelmed by the love, care and support shown by Oak House to my Father. The environment is modern, clean, welcoming and uplifting and I have found the team to be genuine, professional, knowledgeable, patient and willing to go the extra mile every time in the best interests of my Dad. Communication
lines are always kept firmly open for reassurance and advice. I cannot recommend Oak House highly enough and would like to make a special shout-out to the Entertainments Manager for her thoughtfulness, energy, enthusiasm, efforts, care and all-round fabulousness! Mum has been a resident for nearly a year, and I have been amazed at the high level of care Mum is receiving. Staff are welcoming and friendly, from the care staff to the cleaning staff. Mum has made massive progress in her health and well-being, and it is so nice to not worry about her when I am not
there.
I would be happy to recommend this care home.

My father has been at home for four weeks now. He was unsettled and problematic for the first few days. But, with the help of the careers around him, he has now settled in well. He says the food is very good, and he always gets something he enjoys. My experience of the home is that the staff there are
exceptionally friendly, always with a smile on their face and ready to help in any way. Oak House is just like a big family home. I feel happy knowing my father is being well looked after. My mother is in another care home, but we are hoping that she will be moved to Oak House in the very near future.

It was my first visit to Oak House, as I no longer live in the area but had obviously heard of its existence, and I was absolutely amazed. It is such a lovely care home; in fact, it was more like a hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the whole place was very welcoming.

My mother spent nearly a year at Oak House and I was so grateful for the care and kindness she (and I) received. The staff knew Mum very well and were able to support her individual needs well. Despite being in a pandemic, all staff went above and beyond to help us. Thank you Oak House.

Agnieszka Klimkowicz-Buda

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2022

I started working at Care UK in 2009 after hearing great things about their values.


The way they ensure excellent care is delivered and that residents have a say in how their home is run.


Before joining Care UK, I worked as a Nurse for 10 years in a hospital in Poland, where I completed my Level 5 equivalent qualification. It’s my proudest accomplishment that I was able to come to England, not being able to speak English and working my way up to achieve the role of Home Manager.


Ensuring that every resident receives outstanding care is challenging, but it’s so rewarding seeing smiles from happy residents, or when a resident or a colleague achieves something they’ve been working hard for. My favourite moments are enjoying coffee mornings with the residents, families and colleagues.


To be a good Home Manager, I think it’s important to listen and be empathetic. You need to be able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. It’s also important to have a passion to offer outstanding care.


When I’m not working, I love reading and spending time with my family to unwind.
