Nestled within the quiet surroundings of Chelmsford, Admirals Reach care home offers personalised residential, nursing and nursing dementia care to older people.

The professional care team is on hand to help you or your loved one settle into life at the home. Inside, Admirals Reach's modern yet homely interior includes well-furnished lounges and spacious rooms as well as a conservatory. Arranged in five separate houses, four of these provide dementia care and one provides residential care.

The home also offers a range of lovely dining areas where residents can relax and enjoy an intimate dining experience with family and friends, and in addition to the dining rooms, residents can also enjoy mealtimes in the peaceful courtyard garden on sunny days.

Nanna had previously been in two other care homes but only settled once she arrived here. The care was good, particularly from the regular staff who went out of their way to do small things to make both our and Nan's life better.

I wish to say that the family is very grateful for the care Admirals Reach has given my mother (now deceased). The staff were very friendly and I stayed with her all night at the end and the staff were very helpful in making her comfortable on a number of occasions.

Jellicoe House could not have looked after my dad with any more love and care.
We came to visit daily and left knowing he is in the best possible place.
The staff have been incredible and have always made us feel like family.
The food they serve is to high standards and my dad ate extremely well
here.
All staff need to be paid more and appreciated by the higher bodies.

My Mother in Law has not been at Admirals Reach very long but the care she receives is outstanding. Everyone is extremely dedicated to their job. There isn't one person that doesn't show dedication. She has settled in very well.

The overall care for mum was excellent she was well looked after and I felt she was always well dressed and comfortable. Doctors were called when necessary. It was reassuring to know she was fed properly in fact she perked up immediately after she moved in. The staff and nurses are always caring and
happy, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Job Title: Home Manager

“For me, it’s making a real difference to our Resident’s lives with good care delivery and support.”


Lal is a Registered Nurse with over twenty years’ experience. He is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life to older people, to enrich their lives. Lal is dedicated to providing quality care and support for elderly people, to enrich their lives.


Lal closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. He uses his experience to motivate his team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home. Lal is committed to promoting individual choice for Residents, allowing them to feel empowered.


He also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Admirals Reach.


When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Lal remarked:


“Seeing Residents smiling and knowing that as a team we are making a difference to their lives.”


In his spare time, Lal enjoys playing badminton, travelling to exciting destinations and spending quality time with his family.
