I find everyone very kind. The food is nice. I love the garden watching the pigeon in the water bowl having a bath. But I don't like the bed that much.

I am so grateful for the wonderful care my mother has received from all the carers in Nelson House, they truly love my mum dearly. One member of staff, in particular, has done a great job keeping us informed about our mum. I know my mum is so cared for. My mum has built a special bond with some of the carers. They are always kind, caring, and thoughtful. Blessings to them all.

Very helpful staff. Very accommodating, especially as I was visiting with my 92-year-old mother. Staff on Benbow House home supported my aunt well during her time here.

Admirals Reach is a lovely care home. The staff are caring and considerate and always available to talk to and share information with. Nothing is a problem. During the pandemic, they have been amazing keeping mum safe, happy, and cared for. I feel staff go above and beyond. Mum's very happy and settled here and I feel confident she is safe and looked after well. Thank you Admirals Reach staff for all you do.

My mum has been a resident here for nearly 2 years. In that time she has received the best care and treatment it's possible to have. Whenever my mum is not well, the staff pick it up quickly and a doctor is called. The nurses and everyone on Benbow House are working so hard during this awful pandemic but still provide 5-star care.

Mum is reaching the final days of her life. The staff are doing everything possible to ensure her continued care. The staff treat her with dignity and respect. I must mention two staff members who are providing a continuity of care for my mum and for me. I feel that they go above and beyond to ensure final days are pain-free, comfortable and peaceful. We can ask for no more.

I would like to leave a review on behalf of my father-in-law who was a resident in Admirals Reach Care Home, Chelmsford until recently when he sadly passed away.
He was in Mountbatten Community where he absolutely loved being during his short stay. He was constantly telling everyone how much he liked it there, how kind all the staff were to him. In this respect he meant this compliment to be for everyone involved in his care, from, kitchen staff, wellbeing staff, housekeeping staff, carers and nurses as well as the management team who had made it possible for him to come to live there.

Prior to being in the Mountbatten Community he was living on his own and had been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's and was struggling to manage his basic needs even though the family he had in Chelmsford tried their best to help in whatever way they could. The COVID lockdown made it very difficult and it certainly had a profound effect on him.
