Our mother has been with Carolyne House for nearly 1 year and we cannot praise the staff enough who do an amazing job. The building is always clean and the staff very welcoming. Mum really enjoys the food and entertainment. We really could not ask for a better place for our mum to be. Great thanks.

Our beloved mum, grandmother, mother-in-law, a dementia patient, has been living at Carolyne House for almost 4 years now. We are grateful for the excellent care she has received from various directors, including the current one, as well as all of the nurses, doctors and other staff members. She seems to be quite happy and safe there, cared for with genuine kindness and treated with dignity and respect. Over the years the family has come to know many of her carers; it feels like we are visiting a large family when we arrive. I recommend this facility without reservation.

My mum has been living here for nine months now and is in the advanced stages of vascular dementia. I am extremely happy with her care. She is happy and well looked after and the home is kept clean and always seems well organised. The staff at Carolyne House are warm and friendly to both the residents and their visitors. They are so patient with Mum and always seem to take their time with her. We are kept informed on her well being at all times and Sue the events lady sends pictures and videos of her to us regularly. Any problems or issues we may have had have been dealt with quickly and effectively. We looked at so many care homes before choosing and I am so pleased we chose Carolyne House for our mum.

We are so grateful for all the love and care the staff gave our mum whilst she was in their care, she loved them all. The actual care home is clean and tidy and the rooms are a good size. The food is good and the staff are really friendly and they have so many different projects to keep them busy so they don't get bored, they go out on day trips and have sing songs, it is a fabulous place. Mum has now passed on and we will always treasure our time with her in Carolyne House. Thank you to you all.

Mum is in the nursing home after 2 months in hospital for heart problems and a chest infection. Her room is clean, comfortable and cosy. The staff are extremely caring and attentive to mum's needs. Despite her frailty they haven't given up on her, but try to encourage her to get out of bed when possible, or to eat easy to swallow foods. They've been excellent in keeping in touch with me on mum's care, especially after the weekly GP visit. I'm really happy mum is somewhere safe.

My mum is happy and feels very safe in her environment. She enjoys all her meals and always clears her plate, sometimes she even has a second helping. She has gained weight since moving into her new home. She has her hair done every week, and it always looks nice. My mum's appearance is always clean and smart. The room and bathroom are tidy and clean. The staff are very helpful, polite and friendly. They are always there to listen or give me a phone call if there are any concerns about my mum.

Having my mum in care for the past 2 years. This is the best place for her. Every day is different for her, and the activities are assisted to her capabilities. Staff are very understanding to all residents regarding health and general well being. Social activities are a must for all residents and are enjoyed to each of their capacity. Medical issues are taken care of immediately after recognition. Everywhere is clean and attended to regularly.

The care, patience and friendliness received by my Mum was outstanding. All the staff were always happy and very caring.
