They have looked after my great grandmother for a few years I would recommend this home.
The manager is one of the best managers I've met.
All other staff are lovely and make sure nan is looked after.
I'm forever grateful for everything you do.
Keep being amazing.
Thank you so much for taking time to give us review. I will share this to my team and we will make sure to continue to give excellent care. Thank you.
On my visits I have always been greeted and welcomed very nicely and all staff I have met have been lovely. First time I visited the home where my friend went to, I thought this feels like a lovely place and it is, highly recommend it.
Really good experience, lovely, clean, homely feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Friendly staff and resident's rooms all clean and warm. Residents well looked after.
Thank you so much for taking time to give us a review, we really appreciate it. We will continue to give high standard of care.
The staff and management are very helpful and friendly and show care towards all the residents.
Thank you so much for giving us review, we are so grateful. I will share this with all my staff. I can assure you that we will continue to work hard for the best interest of our service user.
Have found all staff to be kind, caring and kept mum's spirits up when she is feeling down.
Thank you for taking time to give us review. We will make sure we continue to give high standard of care.
My mum has been a resident for nearly 8 years. We could not wish for a better home for our mum. She is treated with kindness and love, her every need is met, physically and emotionally. We have nothing but praise for Carolyn House. Well run and beautifully clean conditions. As a family, we could not ask for better.
Thank you so much for taking time to give us review. I will share this to all my staff. On behalf of Carolyne house family, thank you again for all your support.
My nan spent almost 11 years at Carolyne House, I have to say majority of her time she was happy. I think improvements have definitely been made over the years. The rooms are lovely, done to a very high standard. Most staff are friendly and compassionate. The manager is lovely, kind, caring and also remains impartial in family situations. My nan thought a lot of the the manager and her husband whom also works within Carolyne House. Only room for improvement I would say was the food didn't always look appetising, although nan was on a blended diet at the end.
Thank you so much for taking your time to give us the review we really appreciate it. We will ensure that we continue give high standard care with our service user.
Since first viewing, I was impressed and that hasn't changed. My husband is challenging with Alzheimer's but all the carers and nurses seem to have worked magic with his anxiety over personal care. He's always clean, so is his room. The managers and staff keep us informed of doctors visits, changed in medications, sleep patterns etc. They encourage him to partake in activities as much as he wants. They all address him and family by name, which makes us feel like family. Food is excellent, fresh, varies and liquids offered all day. Carolyne House always looks clean, smells clean and available to family at all times. 100%.
Thank you so much for taking time to gives us review. We will ensure that we will continue to give excellent care for all our service user. Again on behalf of Carolyne House Team we thank you for the review.
My 96 year old aunt recently moved into Carolyne House. My aunt has settled very quickly and states it's the best place for her now. Staff have gone out of their way to help her feel welcome and comfortable. Appropriate activities are arranged daily and residents are given a timetable for the month, and all the staff are cheerful, professional and dedicated to ensuring residents are happy. I firmly believe that the managers of care/nursing homes set the standard of care, and the manager here is outstanding - full of enthusiasm and innovative ideas and shows she truly cares for her residents and staff.
Thank you so much for taking time to give us a review we appreciate it. We will continue to give high standard of care.
We are so happy with the care Dad receives, it means when we go and see him we can be his son and wife rather than having to worry about being his carers. He's included in activities and gets to venture outside of his room which is more than he was getting at home. Dad is happy so we are happy.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback, we appreciate it.
When my Dad arrived at Carolyne House he was given only 8 weeks to live, but he actually lasted an amazing 3.5 years and I honestly believe this is due to the care he received. The home is well run, the manager and the assistant are on hand to ensure the smooth running of the home. My dad was on the ground floor which is dedicated to residents that need nursing care, I can't speak highly enough about the registered general nurses (RGN) who care for these residents, they are absolutely amazing, also I would like to highlight the great work done by three staff member in particular who all made my dad's life better during his stay. Everyone from the staff on reception, the lady in laundry to the maintenance man are very welcoming and helpful. If and when I need a care home this one is top of my list!
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review. We really appreciate it.
All team members show great compassion and are very skilled and competent in caring for the complexity of my parents.
Communication is great as well as coordination of care with other services.
As a family, we can't thank everyone at Carolyn House enough for the great care they provide every day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review we appreciate it. We will continue to give our best to provide high-quality of care for our service users.
The manager and her team are kind, caring, and very friendly. Our family has full confidence in the care of our Mother. The activities seem exemplary, and they go to great lengths to keep the residents happy.
The Carolyne team is and has also been the utmost professional in the delivery of care and attention to my mother. Long may they retain the highest score possible going forward under the in-house management team.
My mum has been in Carolyne House since September 2023. I cannot fault the care she receives. The care home manager goes above and beyond to help you and nothing is too much for her. The manager is a real asset to the home and it runs so well because of her dedication. The staff work hard to make it a lovely safe environment for the residents. My mum is well looked after and I can sleep well knowing my mum is safe. Three staff members in particular are exceptional nurses, having the patience and understanding to deal with my mum who has dementia. As do all the careers. Even the ladies in the kitchens and laundry room are very helpful and obliging and will help in any way they can. My mum's key support is very helpful and goes beyond, she let me text her when I couldn’t get into the home to tell me how my mum was. Cannot fault Carolyne House at all. Please keep up the excellent work.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We will continue to work hard.
I have no complaints at all about the way my mum is cared for in Carolyne House. She is always happy when I visit her. The staff are all very kind and understanding of her, even when she gets a bit difficult. The activities and trips that she joins on are really good for her, they are things that we couldn’t do for her at home. It’s definitely the right place for her to be.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We will continue to work hard.
Very pleasant atmosphere. All staff are very helpful. They spend the time to chat to my father which was one of our requests. Extremely clean environment. We visit at various times and there never seems to be anything to complain about which makes us feel confident that the care my father receives is consistent.
Thank you so much for kind words. We will continue to work hard.
Always clean and tidy.
Plenty of activities for residents to do whilst there.
The staff know the resident's names and take an interest in their daily life and well-being.
Nothing is too much.
We appreciate the feedback, I will share with all my staff. We will continue to do our best. Thank you.
Carolyne House is such a lovely care home, the staff really do care. Everybody is friendly, they really look after my dad, they are patient and kind and sometimes he is horrid back but they take it all in their stride. They are amazing. I can't thank them enough for all they do for my dad.
Very pleasant staff; helpful and knowledgeable. Clean room, Mum looks well cared for. Home looks clean and tidy. Always kept informed of changes. Sometimes I feel that the infection control processes could be improved by wearing aprons, especially during care rounds. Changing of gloves not always obvious, but infection rates do seem low. Well done everyone.
Thank you for providing feedback, we appreciate it.

Welcome to Carolyne House. We are a 53-bedroom nursing home. We provide a friendly and homely environment, and a high standard of care; staff can always be found with a big, welcoming smile. We have lovely, spacious gardens that our residents enjoy, especially during the summer. We also have a very homely tea room for residents to enjoy a cup of tea and a snack. We look forward to welcoming you to Carloyne House.

My name is Maria, and I have been the RGN at Carolyne House for 10 years. I absolutely love working with people, interacting with the residents, and hearing their life stories—there’s always something valuable to learn.
I hold a Level 5 Social Care award and have many years of experience as a paediatric nurse before transitioning to working with the elderly.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, reading, and exploring history, particularly castles.

My name is Livia, and I’ve been an RGN at Carolyne House for 8 years. I am passionate about looking after our residents, ensuring all their needs are met, and making sure they remain comfortable and pain-free.
I was honoured to receive the award for the Best RGN at Runwood Homes, which was a great recognition of my dedication. Before joining Carolyne House, I worked as a nurse and continue to apply my experience and care in my current role. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and playing Candy Crush.

Hi, I’m Charlotte, and I’ve been the Lifestyle Coordinator at Carolyne House for 3 and a half years. I really enjoy working with the team at Carolyne House, and the role offers a great level of flexibility that works well with my home life.
I was honoured to be named Staff Member of the Week and also hold a Level 3 NVQ qualification. A fun fact about me is that I’m related to Walt Disney! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, and watching home DIY videos.

Hi, I’m Gurpreet, and I’ve been the Cook at Carolyne House for 7 years. I absolutely love cooking and take great pride in preparing meals for our residents. The team here, including my manager and colleagues, is like one big happy family, and I truly enjoy being a part of it.
In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, watching TV, and, of course, continuing my passion for cooking.

My name is Michelle, and I have had the pleasure of working at Carolyne House for 16 years. Over the years, I’ve taken on many roles, including Care, Laundry Assistant, Lifestyle Coordinator, and Kitchen Assistant. I truly love everything about my job—whether it's interacting with the residents, working alongside my wonderful colleagues, or supporting my manager. In January 2024, I was honoured to receive Employee of the Month.
In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, shopping, and spending quality time with my family.

My name is Mikaua, but most people call me Mika. I am a Care Team Leader and carer at Carolyne House, where I have been working for over a year. The most exciting part of my role is getting to know the residents, listening to their life stories, and feeling inspired by their experiences. Every day in the care home is a learning opportunity, both through the residents' stories and the unique challenges and rewards of the job.
I graduated from Far Eastern University as a medical technologist. As a child, I loved playing teacher and even had an imaginary friend who joined in my games!
In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies—especially romantic comedies, documentaries, and heartfelt stories—along with sleeping and, of course, indulging in good food.
