When we first arrived in the care park, we looked in through the kitchen window and were very impressed with the size and quality. The menu reflects that good first impression. My aunt is very happy here and though reluctant at first, now joins in with many of the activities.

My mother had a great stay at the Barchester Bushey House Beaumont Care Home for two weeks of respite. The team were really attentive to her needs and it was great to see her engaged in the daily activities or enjoying the sunshine in the beautiful grounds.

From the first telephone conversation, to visiting the home, to check out, was brilliant. We were shown the grounds, the rooms, the customer waiting room, the dining area, all were very nicely decorated. I would recommend this facility to anyone. I can also say they accommodated both my parents in one room.

I have been staying at Barchester Bushey House every August for the last three years and have loved it, for respite care. The quality of care is outstanding; the staff are incredibly kind and caring. The home boasts a happy, cheerful atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. The food is good, and nutritious with plenty of choice. The grounds are spacious and pleasant to view. The recent refurbishment of rooms is tastefully designed and eye-catching. It's been a pleasure to stay at this care home.

I was very worried and anxious about coming to respite care but I needn't have worried. I settled down very quickly and got used to the routine with help from the brilliant nurses and care staff. I couldn't have asked for better care and support. I am very grateful.

Your care team and medical team were caring and professional at all times, you should be very proud of your whole team. We booked for two weeks respite but because of the very special care, we extended our stay a further week. We now feel the benefit of staying longer. My brother sadly requires palliative care which was a great shock to the family. Bushey Beaumont has been absolutely fantastic. The care he receives is exceptional and the time they all spend with him has really helped him to become happy and content. I cannot thank the staff enough for all the support the family have received and for everything they have done for my brother since he was admitted two weeks ago. The home is always clean and fresh and his room is fantastic. I would highly recommend this home.

My brother-in-law recently required palliative care and was moved to Bushey Beaumont. Since he has been there we have seen such a big improvement in him. He is comfortable and happy. The staff are so kind, caring and attentive. The care he has received has been excellent. They have been really supportive throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend this home.

We are so pleased to see the front door sorted as they have been open since Christmas. Everyone tries hard to care for the residents. We are happy to see my sister-in-law looking better. But it would be good to see her supervised when she gets dressed and see she's wearing her layers of clothes.

It was my mother's birthday earlier this month. I was delighted that on her birthday the numerous staff were aware and she had good wishes and 'Happy Birthdays' from so many. She returned to the house at teatime and staff gathered with the residents to sing 'Happy Birthday'. My mum is treated and spoken to with respect and kindness. We are so happy with our choice of Barchester Homes and she is safe and so well looked after.

I have been at Bushey House since April 2022. I qualified as a nurse in 1991 working in the NHS from 1999 to 2016. I joined Barchester Healthcare in 2016 as a Deputy Manager and have supported care homes for many years.
We aspire to be the most respected home in the area. My passion is to ensure that our residents are provided with the very best of care, dignity, respect and support to enable them to live a healthy and happy life.
I have been a nurse for over 13 years. My responsibilities include overseeing the nursing team at Bushey House, ensuring that high-quality healthcare is delivered to our residents. I provide mentorship and training for our nurses and function as a Care Coordinator. I am also the Wellbeing Champion, which entails planning and facilitating activities for residents and staff to promote health and well-being.
I enjoy travelling, visiting historical places and singing.
