My mother has stayed in Bushey House Beaumont three times now, as a temporary resident and has always had the best care one could ask for. Medical care is always available, and all the staff could not be more kind and caring to her. We are very happy and have peace of mind knowing this home looks after her so well. Thanks to all there.

My father's respite stay provided him with the high level of care he needed from a team of kind, caring and supportive carers. The whole family were impressed by the care and attention he received to ensure every need was more than met. He enjoys the food, the company of the carers and the entertainment. I have spent a very pleasant three weeks at Beaumont. The general atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are friendly and always willing to help. Despite the current restoration of the kitchen, the food is very good and pleasantly served. If I have to have permanent care I would choose Beaumont.

Our friend has been in this nursing home for four and a half years and has just celebrated her 90th birthday. The home provided a delicious spread for her special birthday, and the cake was amazing - well-done chef! The general manager has been exceptionally helpful, especially over the past months, dealing with her funding. His staff are very kind, friendly and attentive, and our friend is really treated as 'one of the family.' She is happy at Bushey Beaumont and enjoys the food and nursing care. She is able to participate in some of the activities programmed and also enjoys time spent in the lovely, extensive gardens.

Mum has been so well cared for. Her medical and mental care are helping her readjust to her new circumstances following a number of medical issues. The team are so friendly checking in on her constantly and keep her amused. Thanks to everyone for their ongoing support for mum's recovery.

Mum was transferred here at the beginning of the year for palliative care and is now totally dependent on the carers. I have found everyone I’ve had dealings with to be extremely pleasant and helpful, and they genuinely seem to care about mum’s welfare. The home itself is lovely; it’s clean; it has lovely grounds, and activities are available daily for those who wish to partake. Mum is obviously being well cared for and she seems to be as happy as she can be, given the circumstances.

I visited my cousin with a friend of his, and we were impressed with the room supplied for the visits and the effort of the staff to make the visit as good as possible, under the trying conditions. We haven't seen my cousin looking so good in years and put it down to the treatment he is getting.

My mother has only been in the home for six months, and all during Covid. However, I know she is safe and being looked after. The nursing staff really fo look after her. She is very confused, but I think that is probably because we haven't been able to see her due to current restrictions, but hopefully, things will improve soon.

Bushey Barchester has cared for Mum for 18-months, 6-months in normal time and 12-months of lockdown. I have found not being able to see Mum as and when I want very distressing, but I've been comforted to know that she's being well looked after. She always seems content.

I have been at Bushey House since April 2022. I qualified as a nurse in 1991 working in the NHS from 1999 to 2016. I joined Barchester Healthcare in 2016 as a Deputy Manager and have supported care homes for many years.
We aspire to be the most respected home in the area. My passion is to ensure that our residents are provided with the very best of care, dignity, respect and support to enable them to live a healthy and happy life.
I have been a nurse for over 13 years. My responsibilities include overseeing the nursing team at Bushey House, ensuring that high-quality healthcare is delivered to our residents. I provide mentorship and training for our nurses and function as a Care Coordinator. I am also the Wellbeing Champion, which entails planning and facilitating activities for residents and staff to promote health and well-being.
