Dear Joan
It is always a treat for my team and I to hear such positive feedback. We are so pleased your Aunt is so happy in our care. We are very fortunate to have such a happy, caring and good-humoured team. Thank you again.
Home Manager
We have started to see a difference but hopefully will improve a lot more.
Thank you for your feedback. We value the feedback received from all of our residents and their families, and we will happily meet with you to discuss further any concerns or suggestions you might have, as well as making you aware of any future plans for the home to further improve our service. We are really sorry that you feel disappointed that you had to pay a small token for the food on offer during the summer fete. All money raised will be used for the benefit of our residents in the home. We did provide a lovely, free BBQ for everyone in July. I look forward to meeting with you.
With the new management, things have definitely improved for the better. However, the kitchen needs to be supervised ie menu etc, but
The team and I, at The Chase, continue to strive to achieve positive outcomes for all service users. We all acknowledge that a lot of changes have been implemented and it will take time for those changes to be embedded. We continue to work with families, friends and professionals to ensure care is delivered of a good standard. Recent visits from CCG and Local Authority identified improvement and so we are certainly on the right track, this was also shared during our relative's meeting that was held in August 2018.
The only downside is the lack of outings suitable for her.
The new manager listens and acts on concerns promptly.

I love listening to residents' incredible stories and helping them, which makes my role deeply fulfilling. I enrich their lives by offering security, friendly relationships, and meaningful activities. Graduating in Nursing in 2007, I completed Level 5 Management and Leadership in 2015, with 10 years of management experience.
“Our door is open - if there is a question, staff, relatives and residents can come and talk to us. We are always there to listen.”
“I am from a care home background and administration. The vacancy came up for lead administrator and I took this opportunity to combine my experience and skills. I enjoy all the tasks that I carry out as I know that this ties in with making a difference and supporting our residents who are vulnerable people that require support.”
“I wanted to work in a large care home environment because it provides opportunities for me to expand my knowledge with training and by working alongside experts. My favourite part of my day is being able to make people happy.”
“I wanted to work at The Chase as I am passionate about achieving results and enjoy a challenge. To be good in my role I think someone needs to have dedication, patience, willingness to learn new things, a team player, and to be able to achieve results and multi-task.”
