Erskine Hall Care Home

Erskine Hall Care Home is the best thing that happened to our family since our dad had a stroke. You provide a safe and friendly environment for my dad, everybody is welcoming and caring. he is happy as "Larry" terms feeling fine at home.

My father came to Erskine Care Centre for the last few days of his life and it was perfect. I would like to particularly share my appreciation of a certain staff member on floor two, who from when I arrived at 11 pm provided a mattress and food, to her outstanding presence and kindness and her ability to manage a tricky situation.

Dad was sent to Erskine Care Home from hospital on initially a temporary basis until we found him a long-term home. We have since decided for him to stay at Erskine as a long-term resident as the care received there is second to none. In particular, there are 3 members of staff that are absolutely lovely and a credit to the home. The manager and several other members of staff were all so welcoming and cheerful and gave me the comfort that Dad is being looked after. Their warm and welcoming personas made the choice very easy and I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

The activities were wide-ranging from musical acts to quizzes and everyone regardless of ability was included creating a pleasant event.

My sister has recently stayed at Erskine Hall for respite following surgery. From pre-admission to discharge, she, and us as a very concerned family, were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Communication with my sister and with us was timely and informative helping to reduce anxiety at a very worrying time. All of the staff appeared to focus on her as an individual, recognising and managing her complex needs. The staff all demonstrated a team approach and were calm and resident-focused. All the facilities were clean and well-maintained which meant a comfortable stay.

My dear mother spent the final few months of her life at Erskine Hall at the end of 2023. I recommend the home as excellent. The care provided was high quality, professional and above all showed a genuine interest in Mum’s personal situation. She enjoyed the food and entertainment that was provided, and she clearly felt very well looked after. Without exception the staff were excellent.

My father visits my mother daily and the staff are kind and caring towards him too, and always make him a cup of tea!

Extremely well-run home and very easy to deal with any problems. The staff are friendly and very caring. The standard of cleanliness is very high and there is always a pleasant smell. Because my mother-in-law is so well taken of it makes the family confident that she will be taken care of at all times and in an emergency. Very good activities.

Warm, welcoming, friendly staff in tastefully furnished and comfortable accommodation. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Activity lady, nothing is too much for her, she is never out of ideas, Dad adores her. Food is like 5-star hotel. All the equipment, social spaces, garden is in very high standard.

Value for money is a difficult one as all care is expensive but we were happy to pay for the care my mum received here.

My mum moved into Erskine Hall in March 2023, after the sad passing of her beloved husband. From the first time we viewed the scheme, we felt welcome and at home. All the staff are friendly, enthusiastic and very caring. My mum has a lovely large room, which we have personalised for her, and she has settled very well. She has made friends and joins in with the activities, including the Hawaiian-themed party this week to celebrate the home's 'good' rating with the CQC, which they thoroughly deserve. The gardens are stunning and well kept and the outside terrace, on the first floor, is a favourite meeting place, especially in the recent sunny weather. My mum tells me that the meals are very nice and there is a good choice. She has her hair done in the salon and her nails done every week. Thank you Erskine Hall!

The facilities at Erskine Hall Care Home are fab with comfy beds and a very pleasant atmosphere. Guests are made to feel welcome and the staff go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful whilst remaining professional at all times. The food is fantastic and the grounds are lovely. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the care that Dad is receiving.

I am very satisfied with the home and the service they provide. All the nurses and carers here are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The activities are very varied and no pressure is made for us to join in with them. Overall, I am pleased with Erskine Hall Care Home and everything that they do for us.

My dad spent the last month of his life in Erskine Hall. The care he received was exceptional. The staff were always kind and professional, most importantly to my dad but also to our family who were visiting. The food was excellent. I would like to thank all the staff for their genuine kindness and consideration during what was a very hard time.

The staff are brilliant and I am very well looked after. They have made me welcome and I feel very much at home here.

Erskin hall came at a difficult time in my life. I have been treated by all the staff with kindness and consideration and the room was very well kept in excellent order. I have had visits from my friends who have remarked how well I have done since I moved to Erskin Hall and continue to improve each time they visit.
