Premier Court is set in a very peaceful countryside location within Bishop’s Stortford. It provides a full range of residential and nursing care.

They’re here when you and your loved ones need them most. For planned respite or last- minute trips. A safe space to recover after an operation. To experience what their home’s like before moving long- term. To just relax. Whatever the reason, their doors are open.

A modern, purpose-built home, Premier Court has comfortable ensuite single bedrooms and attractive décor. The home features well-furnished lounge areas where residents can relax and socialise, there is also an onsite hair salon and the homes very own tea room for all to enjoy.

The home benefits from lots of outside space with courtyard gardens for family and friends to use whenever they come to visit. The home is also wheelchair accessible throughout.

Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients. Soon after a resident arrives at the home, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

There’s a real sense of community at Premier Court. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. So whether loved ones already have a hobby or would like to take up a new one, there are lots of exciting activities to get involved in.

The activities calendar includes arts and crafts, music, flower arranging and gardening. Visiting entertainers often perform, and residents can enjoy outings to garden centres, shopping trips or places of interest.

The care my mother receives is outstanding. I was a care provider myself for 40 years and believe Premier Court Care Home to be quite exceptional. I would not want my mother to be anywhere else.

I was resident for a post-op recuperative week. All staff were cheerful, kind and helpful.
The accommodation was entirely suitable for my needs. Food, although not gourmet, was perfectly OK.
A complete absence of unpleasant smells, etc.
Whilst it is not a luxury home, everything one needs is there,
most especially the care and kindness of the staff.

My mother stayed at the home for 12 days. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent and the care was second to none. Unfortunately, Mum had to go to hospital so her stay was cut short.

Mum has been in Premier Court for nearly a month now after being transferred from the hospital for end of life care. The staff are brilliant (from cleaners, cooks, carers, sisters). They are on the ball with any problems and always take time to talk to me when I need reassurance. It's a difficult time
for us as a family, but they have made the transition very easy on us and Mum.

Premier Court is a very caring and welcoming care home. All the staff we met were friendly and kind. We were greatly reassured that we were leaving my mother-in-law in good hands with professional 24 hr care. The home is well maintained and lovely location adjacent to the picturesque Southern Country

My aunt has been in Premier Court Care Home for nearly 3 weeks respite. The care has been excellent and she has no complaints. All staff are pleasant and helpful and treat her with kindness and compassion. She is due to go home next week and we have discussed her future needs. If she needs to have 24-hour

My mother in law had a fall at home and we felt that she needed a few weeks in a home to recover. This coincided with some medical investigations in a local hospital as well. She was quite anxious about the stay although knew it was the best place for her to be at this time.
We have found Premier Court
to be a very welcoming place for her. And us! I feel that she is being looked after well. She is safe and she is enjoying the food and the interaction with the staff and other residents.
The manager is very hands-on and is always approachable and helpful. The deputy manager was lovely and supportive when we first made contact with the home. We have sampled a breakfast and it was lovely. The chef and the staff in the dining room made us very welcome. The nurses there have been so helpful and involved. The care staff are great. The activities coordinator is absolutely brilliant. Whilst this is only our fourth day here I am confident that my mother in law will be well looked after.

My (elderly) friend has recently required some respite care following a fall at her home. From the moment we walked through the door for the initial assessment, she was made to feel welcome, as were we. All the staff, without exception, greeted us as we were given a conducted tour. My friend has only
been at Premier Court for a few days but has improved mobility and confidence. She is a quiet person, lives alone with little social interaction. During the first few days, she has been encouraged and got involved with carpet boules, a concert and dining in the very pleasant dining room with other residents. The food is good and there’s always a choice. They are varied and we’ve certainly seen our friend eat heartily at all mealtimes. At the fear of sounding “O.T.T”, the staff, without exception are remarkable adjusting their skills to suit each individual. They are a great caring team lead by an excellent “hands-on” manager. We have peace of mind.

We are extremely happy with the care my mother receives at Premier Court. The staff are approachable, caring and very friendly. They do an amazing job. While we have plenty of worries as our mother's health deteriorates, it is a comfort to know she is being so well cared for.

When the manager gave me a tour of the place, I immediately knew that my Dad would not only be happy here but that he would be well looked after. The staff as so friendly, the nurses, professional and helpful.
I am happy to leave my dad in the capable hands of Premier Court and the team. Everyone

My father has been at Premier Court Care Home since November 2019.
He has settled really well, all the staff are very helpful and understanding. This was a big move for him as he has always been very independent and lived alone for many years. It is peace of mind to know he is in such good hands and
getting the help he needs.

My mother has been a resident for over 3 years. During this time she has always been treated with great care and dignity. The staff are cheerful, hardworking and always willing to help with any problem or query. There is a wide range of activities including singers, arts and crafts, quizzes and all
are encouraged to join in. I visit my mother regularly and feel comforted that she is in a place that feels like a real home.

Although my husband has only been here a short time he has been treated kindly and with respect. The staff have made sure he is comfortable, safe and they talk with him to keep him happy and engaged. They are most attentive, making sure he is settling in. Lovely location and amenities for both residents
