Premier Court is set in a very peaceful countryside location within Bishop’s Stortford. It provides a full range of residential and nursing care.

A modern, purpose-built home, Premier Court has comfortable ensuite single bedrooms and attractive décor. The home features well-furnished lounge areas where residents can relax and socialise, there is also an onsite hair salon and the homes very own tea room for all to enjoy.

The home benefits from lots of outside space with courtyard gardens for family and friends to use whenever they come to visit. The home is also wheelchair accessible throughout.

Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients. Soon after a resident arrives at the home, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

There’s a real sense of community at Premier Court. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. My Mum was a resident at Premier Court for the last few days of her life. The staff should be congratulated as they have created a team that that has a real family feel about it. They not only treated my Mum with care and dignity but also the whole family who were made so welcome when we visited - nothing
was too much trouble.
It was so comforting to know that Mum was well cared for and was happy in her last days and for her to pass away in a place that felt like our own home is a feeling that one can not describe.
Myself my wife and all the family's heartfelt thanks to you all for all the care and compassion you shared with Mum.

Care and consideration given to my mother during her last days was excellent. The team had looked after her in her last hours cannot receive enough praise. The person in charge needs special thanks. He looked after my father and I on our arrival and visited us frequently and made my mother comfortable.
Three members of staff were with us when I pressed the emergency button and all were kind and sympathetic towards us. My father is 92 and was married to my mother for 68 years so the kindness towards us was much appreciated.

My dad was a resident at Premier Court for the last two months of his life. He was well cared for. I was anxious for him to be comfortable particularly at the end. The hospice nurse and Premier Court nurses and GP worked together to ensure everything was in place for him when it was needed. He was
able to stay at Premier Court right to the end which was perfect he died comfortable and in peace.

Very warm and friendly across all members of staff, feel like a family and have taken you under their wing to care for you in their home. Plenty of activities going on everyday. Everything happens in a timely manor. Good food, no job is too big or small.

Happy and helpful staff. Carol the home manager and her team are always willing to help, they support both residents and their relatives, and you are always greeted with a smile and nothing is to much trouble.


With on site hairdresser, several lounges and daily activities and a fabulous peaceful

setting, it covers most needs.

For me, the daughter, it seemed the nicest place for my mum to go to whilst we went away. It was a very friendly, happy, clean home. I would not hesitate to recommend this home or to bring mum here again.

My gran arrived at Premier Court in July 2015 and has received excellent care and support in her time there. The home is kept in very good condition, very clean and bright and the staff are all bubbly and always happy to help.
