Premier Court Care Home

This has been my 3rd holiday spent here and for the third time, I am more than ever to extend to all aspects and staff. My sincerest of thanks, gratitude and love goes a long way to heal that which brought me back yet again. To me, it speaks for itself realising that well over 50/60% of the present staff were here at my first visit in 2017.

Such wonderfully caring staff; give us the comfort and reassurance that when we drive away after visiting, Mum will be well looked after and safe. This is doubly endorsed by the active involvement and knowledge of all residents by the homes management team.

My mother has been a resident for over 3 years. During this time she has always been treated with great care and dignity. The staff are cheerful, hardworking and always willing to help with any problem or query. There is a wide range of activities including singers, arts and crafts, quizzes and all are encouraged to join in. I visit my mother regularly and feel comforted that she is in a place that feels like a real home.

Although my husband has only been here a short time he has been treated kindly and with respect. The staff have made sure he is comfortable, safe and they talk with him to keep him happy and engaged. They are most attentive, making sure he is settling in. Lovely location and amenities for both residents and visitors.

My mother is very happy here. The care she receives is amazing - she is treated with the utmost respect. Staff are brilliant and the entertainment and activities are second to none.

Very compassionate staff, very helpful. Activities are frequent and varied. Each resident is catered for individually and treated with so much respect. Lovely team of people.

The staff are very caring and friendly. The activities coordinator is excellent and the nursing staff are approachable and very helpful. The rooms are quite small, but comfortable.

I have been a respite patient three times in Premier Court and I cannot fault anyone or anything. Because of Parkinson Disease, I did find it a little difficult when using the toilet even with assistance and on my first visit, because of a shortage of staff, I felt a little isolated.

Clean and warm. Good activities. Staff kind and care good. It was expensive but equal to others offering similar care. Rooms a bit small. Communal rooms lovely.

We found Premier Court to be clean and bright with good facilities and outdoor spaces. The activities team were great and the food was nice. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with staffing numbers and ratios as basic needs were not met in a timely manner most days. Essential personal care was virtually unavailable during meal times which was very distressing.

The location is nice and the surrounding area is lovely. Food is very good and the activities co-ordinator is very caring. The staff are so busy that they are not able to respond to basic needs. I'm afraid that I would not recommend this care home. The end of life treatment that my mother received did not meet our families expectation sadly.

My Mother was at Premier Court for the last two and half years of her life and I can not fault the care she received. All of the staff were so very kind to her treating her with so much care and compassion. I spent a lot of time there with Mum and got to know the staff, from the Manager, the nurses and care staff, the girls in the office and reception and the entertainment girls and they are all amazing! I was always able to leave Mum knowing she was receiving the best care 24hrs a day which gave me peace of mind, and I always knew they would keep me informed at all times. I really couldn’t recommend this place more highly for any loved ones. Thank you all at Premier Court!

Fantastic staff. Couldn't have asked for more.

My mum was in Premier Court for over two years. In the time she was in there she was really well cared for by all the staff. The staff always treated us well and in the time Mum was in the home they always let us know what was going on or if there was a problem. I would definitely recommend Premier Court to anyone who was looking for a care home for a loved one.

My mother spent 6 weeks in Premier Court and we were very happy with the care provided. Whilst there was a well-organised activities programme, my mother was probably not in the best of health to appreciate them, at that time. It is a nicely arranged home with a pleasant outlook and apart from the rooms being on the small side, my mother was well looked after and started to eat very well.

My mother was recovering from a heart operation and was looked after very well by all staff at Premier Court. She was made to feel very welcome and was properly looked after.

Amazing, caring, extremely hardworking, friendliest staff from reception to carers, nurses, chef and kitchen staff. Worth their weight in gold.

We have found everything to be of a very high standard and can't find fault with anything.

My Mum came into your care for the last week of her life and the care was extraordinary, although she couldn't really appreciate the beautiful surroundings she smiled a lot and even in the last days she seemed very at peace. Thank you for making those days so special.
