River Court Care Home

Excellent.

I have been here 5 years. Came during covid lockdown due to complications with covid left me unable to put pressure on foot for 6 months, after which I could not walk. I find the care received here exemplary, nothing is too much trouble from nurses, care staff, activities staff, laundry and cleaning and kitchen staff. They are all kind and helpful, my personal care is well looked after. If something I won't eat on the menu, chef will make alternative. I would highly recommend River Court for short or long term care.

They were all very friendly to us as a family and I felt confident that when we weren't there, he was being very well looked after. Thank you to all the Hampermill staff.

From day one they supported us and my mother with great care and compassion. This made a huge difference at a very sad time for all of us. We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the whole team for the care and love they provided.

My mother has been very well looked after in River Court Care Home for nearly 2 years. In that time my mother has been treated with dignity and respect. The staff are always friendly and helpful even though they are always busy and sometimes faced with difficult challenges. I have only ever witnessed Kindness and compassion. My father sister and I feel Mum is in safe hands.

Wonderful care of my mother. Nothing too much trouble and the staff amazing. Everything you would expect for 5* care. My family are so grateful to River Court Care Home, especially the team Chess House.

I would like to take this opportunity to give a huge thank you to all the staff at Hampermill Unit, Rivercourt Care Home, for the patience, kindness, dignity, and love they showed to my mum who was resident there for nearly 18 months. As a family, we were always given such a lovely welcome. The unit is spotless, my mum's room was always immaculate. There are so many people who make this place such a nice home, the Matron, the nurses, carers, cleaners, laundry, catering, all doing such a difficult job to such a high standard, with humility, love and respect. I can never thank them enough. Sadly my mum has now passed away, looked after right to the end by these wonderful people. Thank you and we will miss you all.

We as a family were very happy and satisfied with the care given to my husband. All the staff did their best to make him feel secure and happy and made us as a family feel welcomed and included.

All the staff are so kind and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure Mum and Dad are safe and happy.

Mum has been here for just over a year now. She is very much at home. We know she is being looked after, and so have no worries. She gets on with the staff and has made friends here.

To all the staff involved with Grandad, I want to thank you for all that you have done for him. My dad has been my dad, my business partner, and I had the honour of being his carer for ten years. Not always easy, particularly just before my dad came to you. My mum and I were brought to our knees trying to help my dad on his decline, you as individuals have saved our lives as we were bewildered by the dramatic twists of Alzheimer's. You took over the care of the most precious person in me and my family's lives and you loved and cared for Grandad as though he were your own. For that, we will be forever indebted to you. With my hand on my heart, I thank you all for the love, kindness and support that you have given my dad and my family. Thank you.

River Court Care Home is a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment. Our mother is given very good care and is treated with dignity and kindness. Every single member of staff is extremely friendly and approachable. Thank you.

My relative has settled due to the consistent, expert, kind and respectful approach of thoughtful, gentle care staff led by a competent, wise unit manager. Communication from staff is open, transparent and helpful.
