Our mother moved into Elvy Court about a month ago and has settled in very nicely. When we visit her each week she is happy and settled. We could not be more impressed with the home the staff are friendly and helpful the home is clean and well maintained. My mum has been dancing, and painting, she had
trips out shopping and has been to the pub! We are very relieved and happy that she is at Elvy Court.

My mum sadly passed away on March 22nd but mum had lived in Elvy Court for more than 7 years. The home has been very good to her such, loving care. The whole family appreciate all the care given to mum. There were lots of fun days, activities, and days out such as the classic car festival in Faversham,
with staff and families sitting out on the lawn eating fish and chips, it was a brilliant day and the sun shining. Everybody enjoyed it, it was 14th May 2017.

My brother was fast-tracked to Elvy Court in February of this year as his care needs had changed, it was traumatic for him and for us as a family as he had been at his previous residential home for over 25 years! The team at Elvy Court helped him settle in fast and made him feel welcomed. As a family,

We visited for the first time today and were very impressed with the staff and the place. Very, very clean, bright and welcoming, the coffee was very good, the care for our friend was excellent, and we were made to feel very welcome. A brilliant care home

My overall experience of Elvy Court is very good. All the staff from nursers, receptions, carers, kitchen staff and housekeepers are very helpful.
Unfortunately my husband is bed-bound so cannot take part in most activities.
Also the food looks excellent but he doesn't eat solid food. The only difficulty
I have is the parking which I know can't be helped but as I have mobility issues is a problem.

She is settled and seems content. I can't really comment on the food as I rarely see meal times.
The staff are kind and helpful.
As I am not on Facebook, I seem to be unaware of special activities unless I see a poster when I visit - this could be improved.

My sister has now resided at Elvy Court for 18 months having spent most of her life in various homes. It varying quality! Since she has been at Elvy Court, we have relaxed more over her care, we are very satisfied with everything the staff and management do for and with her. She is happy and well looked

The staff are friendly from the reception team to the nursing staff. My only complaint is there are not enough activities for people who are bedbound as all the activities are either in the communal room or dining room.

Our activities team do conduct daily room visit for those who are bed bound however we have taken previous comments on board as we do understand that in order to give more time to those in their rooms our wellbeing team needs to grow, therefore we are in the process of recruiting an additional full-time team member.

Dad has been in Elvy Court for just over 4 years now and has always been well looked after and cared for, and he often tells me how well the staff look after him! I have had a lot of interaction with the staff, both on the caring side and on the admin side, and everyone is friendly and helpful, Dad
is treated with dignity and respect, and he enjoys chatting with the staff. Overall we are happy with his care and very much appreciate what the staff do for him.

My mother was a resident from September 2022 to December 2022, when she sadly passed. I can not speak highly enough of the care and attention my mother received during her short stay. Mum was treated with respect and dignity by all medical and support staff and this care was extended to me at critical
times before, during and after Mum’s last days. Mum did not have dementia and her mind was alert, but her body was failing and she needed frequent medical care, which was provided to the highest standard.
There is an open-door policy with senior management, which gives instant peace of mind. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and efficient. As a relative you quickly become part of the Elvy Court family; there is a lot to be said for a friendly face and a kind word during tough times. There is a lively programme of activities and the food is varied and tailored to individuals. The biggest compliment I can pass on is that Mum said she felt safe which meant the world to me. It’s a special place!

My mum moved in September 2019.
The staff are very kind and attentive.
They are also very kind to me.
I visit Mum regularly up to several times a week and I definitely make my own self at home as they have a nice coffee machine and often biscuits/cakes for visitors.
My mum does have issues eating
but the staff will always ensure an alternative is available and are happy to make toast/omelettes.
I am very grateful to all at Elvy Court.
Mum is much salted since being here, and she falls less and does not have to go into the hospital regularly as the staff can deal with everything there. I am happy that mum is well looked after and safe.
