The staff have been excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The manager runs a tight ship so all risk assessments are completed and discussed with us. I feel so much happier that mum is receiving such excellent care.
Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated! It really motivates the team to deliver the best care to our residents! We are happy to know that Mum is settling in well. We are lucky to have such a lovely lady in our Glebefields family.
I like the food. The staff are very helpful and caring.
Thank you so much! We are glad you chose us!
Amazing care home, clean and tidy. I actually thought it was a five-star hotel, the staff were all very friendly, especially a young lady who helped me with my enquiry and was very professional. I got the feeling the management team are great and generally, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming!
The team at Glebefields would like to thank you for your comments. We take great pride in what we do and never take for granted the privilege and trust we have been gifted to support and look after people in our care. Thank you.
During my visit to the care home which is situated in a beautiful countryside location, the staff treated residents with dignity and their choices were respected. We could see residents being engaged in outdoor activities. The kitchen team was pleasant and very kindly offered us refreshments. It's only a few weeks that my friend had been staying there and we could see the improvement in his health and well being. The home was very clean and well presented. The rooms are very spacious and have access to the garden outside. Overall the home had a very positive environment.
Thank you John for the kind words as the team gets motivated with such appreciation and works towards delivering high-quality care to our residents.
This care home does not deserve to still be open. Gone downhill so quickly within the matter of a year. I was seriously worried and concerned with how my grandma was treated and I honestly believe she would not still be with us if she was still there. They showed no respect or dignity and used her dementia to their advantage, giving her no choices, shoving her in a room all day and feeding her food she doesn’t like because ‘she won't realise’. As a granddaughter, I even had a member of staff moaning about my grandma which was extremely upsetting and demonstrated their lack of care and respect. Seriously concerned about the residents still there. She has now improved massively since being away from Glebefield.
We are very sorry that our service could not meet your expectations. We take every feedback seriously and look into improving our customer service at all times. We understand that your concerns have been taken onboard and a response has been delivered to yourself and family. We will work hard to deliver high-quality care.
Shocking home! Treated my Grandma with no respect or dignity. The manager is extremely rude and disrespectful not only to the residents and relatives but also to the staff. Wouldn’t recommend this home to anybody.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Amazing views. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for the feedback. The team at Glebefields get motivated when their efforts are appreciated by the feedbacks we received.
Relaxed environment with amazing views of the countryside.
Thank you so much for the valuable feedback. This increases the zeal amongst the team to deliver high standards of care. We take all feedback on board and are working our way to improve our facilities and rooms. I would like to assure you that the home is going to be a stunning establishment post the refurbishment.
Staff were very approachable. Impressed with the home itself and the location.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, much appreciated. These words will motivate staff to deliver good quality care to our residents.
Wonderful experience, it was lovely to catch up again. Staff were professional as always. The views were lovely, we sat outside on the benches, was a lovely experience.
Thank you for the kind words and lovely feedback. Glad to know that the team succeeded in delivering a wonderful experience.
Excellent facilities.
Thank you for your wonderful review of our home. Glebefields is a truly beautiful place to live and work. The interior design refurbishment has only added to its character. We're pleased you felt so welcome. I will ensure the home team are made aware of your positive comments.
Very good.
Thank you for the kind review. It was lovely to see mum join in the group activities especially cheering for England for the football finals! Hope mum is doing well at home.
Would not recommend this home as we as a family had many issues regarding the management of the home. Our mother was not cared for as we would have expected. We have moved mum to another care home and can see the difference in her within a short time. High turnover and retention of staff and poor communication.
We took the difficult decision to change the care level offered in the home, based entirely on the best interests of our residents. We have excellent Memory Lane communities in sister homes nearby offering all the same Barchester standards of care and excellence.
The level of care was not as we would have expected as a family. Since moving mum to a new care home, we can appreciate the level of care she is now receiving. Mum is now thriving at her new home. Glebefields has a high turnover of staff. Poor food choice and quality.

My mother has been a resident for just over a year. She is well cared for, great food and always looks clean and tidy. We have no concerns, she is looked after really well.
Thank you for the kind words of appreciation; it really motivates the team to deliver high-quality 5-star care!
I am very new to Glebefields. The activities are excellent here. I enjoy chatting with other residents. I chose to be here, as I was lonely at home.
Thank you Francis for the kind words. We will endeavour to continue to deliver your expectations.
I like being at Glebefields. I enjoy group activities especially colouring and word search. I like the food here.
Thank you for the appreciation. We will work harder to continue delivering the high standards of care.
I have been well looked after and enjoy the company.
Thank you Very much for the wonderful review. Team Glebefields will be always at your service to cheer your day up.
My friend needed urgent care and nursing. She had stayed previously at Glebefields and they were very nice, so they were my first thought when she needed care again. She has been in for two weeks now and has finally settled. The staff have made everything so easy from the start and have always got time for you. I would certainly recommend Glebefields.
Thank you for the review. We are grateful that we could deliver person-centred care.
Staff are very helpful and are happy to accommodate and sort out any issues that may occur. Very happy with the service my husband and I have received from the care home, couldn't ask for better. Best care home we have ever used. Excellent!
Thank you so much for the lovely review as this really motivates the team to keep up the good work and thank you for choosing us to look after your husband. Looking forward to the next visit soon.

Meet the Team (15)

Hi, my name is Benazir, and I am the General Manager here at Glebefields Care Home.
I started my professional journey as a Paediatric and Neonatal Nurse in India and worked across Middle East countries as a NICU nurse specialist before moving to England in 2019 and starting with Barchester in December 2020. I have extensive experience in clinical care, palliative care, practice development, nursing management and mentoring. My role as General Manager is to lead the clinical team of nurses, care practitioners and care assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care that exceeds regulatory standards. I believe strongly in collaborative care, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. My door is always open, and I welcome you to visit for a coffee and a discussion about our services.

Hello, my name is Jeni Abraham, and I joined the Barchester team in August 2025 as a Bank Nurse and was quickly promoted to my current clinical management role as Deputy Manager. I have felt incredibly supported since joining the organisation and our fantastic team.
With a rich nursing career that began in 2005, I am deeply passionate about my profession. I have an extensive clinical background that includes vital experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in fast-paced environments, such as the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Units abroad. I also spent six years working in various care home settings within the Banbury area, which provides me with invaluable local experience.
In my personal life outside my role at Glebefields, I cherish spending quality time with my family and relaxing and joy in painting.

I’m Dinesh, the Home Administrator at Glebefields. My journey with Barchester began in July 2022 when I joined as an Admin Assistant, and I was proud to step into the Administrator role in May 2025.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Business and Management, completed in 2019, and a Postgraduate Diploma in People Management, achieved in 2021. This academic foundation has equipped me with strong skills in leadership, organisational strategy, and team development skills that I use every day to support the smooth running of our home.
My passion for the care sector comes from a deep belief in compassion, dignity, and respect at every stage of life. I’ve always been drawn to roles where I can make a meaningful difference, and working in care allows me to contribute to the well-being of residents while supporting the dedicated teams who look after them. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a community where even the smallest action can brighten someone’s day.
As Home Administrator, I’m committed to creating a supportive, efficient, and welcoming environment. Ensuring that both residents and colleagues feel valued, empowered, and heard is at the heart of everything I do. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and make a positive impact—and I’m proud to be part of a sector that places humanity at its core.

Hi, I'm Nicola and have just recently joined Glebefields as the Admin Assistant, and I look forward to meeting and supporting all our residents, their families, healthcare professionals and suppliers who visit the home on a regular basis. I will be based at the main reception in our beautiful café. Please do pop in for a cup of coffee and cake and say hello.

Hi, I'm Simon. My role here at Glebefields is Head of Maintenance. I am extremely excited and proud to be supported and empowered to deliver a first-class service to all our residents, their families, visitors and our team.
Whilst part of my role is compliance and health and safety, I feel very passionate about supporting the life enrichment programme, to ensure everyone can build positive lasting memories. I take pride in everything I do within the maintenance department, ensuring that the home and gardens are safe, enjoyable and comfortable to be in.
During my spare time, I enjoy most sports, gardening and, of course, DIY! I'm proud to be part of the Glebefields team, where we all strive for excellence, for the benefit of everyone.

Hi, I’m Andrew, and I have recently joined the team at Glebefields as the gardener. Before transitioning into the care sector, I spent many years working as an electrical maintenance manager. In that role, solving problems and keeping things running smoothly was all part of my daily job.
I decided to move into care because I wanted to do something deeply meaningful. I wanted a role where I could make a real difference to people’s everyday lives. Being able to support our residents, work alongside a great team, and help create a safe, happy environment is incredibly rewarding to me.
Family is a massive part of my life. I have a son, twin daughters, and a grandson named Albie. Albie is completely convinced that his grandad can fix absolutely everything! I do my best to keep up that reputation, even if it sometimes requires a bit of duct tape and optimism.
When I am not at work, you will usually find me enjoying the golf course, watching football, or bird watching. I also love tackling various DIY projects around my own home. I always enjoy keeping busy, having a laugh, and I am always happy to lend a hand whether that means fixing something or just putting a smile on someone's face.

Hello, my name is Beena, and I'm one of the registered nurses working at Glebefields, providing continued quality care for our residents.
I joined Barchester in 2023, initially as bank staff, and was delighted to become a permanent Registered General Nurse (RGN) in May 2024. My passion is centred on building meaningful relationships with our residents and their families, ensuring every individual receives high-quality, person-centred care. I truly value Barchester's commitment to continuous training and its focus on fostering a supportive, safe working environment where great teamwork thrives.
My experience, which began in 2006 when I worked with elderly residents in the UK, has equipped me with the confidence to navigate challenging situations and reinforced my commitment to compassionate care.
When I am not working, I enjoy exploring and adventures through travel with my family and two children whenever we can.

Hello, I am the Head Chef here at Barchester Glebefields.
I gained my professional qualification over 25 years ago. I have enjoyed a varied career in the hospitality world, working alongside exceptional chefs across multiple cuisines, in 5* Hotels, classic restaurants and schools, etc.
It's a privilege to be part of the Glebefields family. I enjoy my work and am proud to provide a varied and nutritional experience for our residents, tailoring menus and cooking their favourite meals along with offering new culinary experiences to tempt their palettes.

Hello, my name is Fiona, and I share the role of resident ambassador with my friend and fellow resident, Joan. Having two resident ambassadors means all those living at Glebefields have a choice of who they would like to talk to.
On leaving school in East London at the age of 16, I started work in a local nursery school. Within 3 years, I’d qualified as a Nursery Nurse and spent the following 50 years within this wonderful profession.
Her love for children and their continued education shaped her life. Fiona is now an avid supporter of all the homes’ Intergenerational Activities and keeps herself young and updated on the latest trends with visits from her ten grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Hi, I am Siju, I have been part of the Glebefields family since 2020. I am experienced in care and have worked previously as a nurse in India. I am proud to play an important part in the health and safety of the home and our resident's lives. I enjoy helping in many areas of the home, you will find me caring for residents and also accompanying them on trips. Variety in my work motivates me to learn and experience more each day, I thoroughly enjoy my work and being a part of the wonderful Glebefields team.

My name is Cristina, and I am working as a senior care assistant at Glebefields Care Home. I'm coming from Romania, and my main qualification in my country is a master's degree in geography. I came to the UK in 2017, and I joined Barchester company in Chipping Norton. In 2019 I completed NVQ 2 and in 2021 I completed the NVQ3 Diploma in Adult Care.
In January 2022 I joined the Glebefields team, and since then, I enjoyed coming to work, in a positive environment. Using my knowledge and experience, besides my colleagues, we offer residents and visitors a great experience. I am happy when the residents are happy, and I feel good when I can make a difference in someone's day.

Hello, my name is Richard and I'm the Bank Second Chef here at Glebefields.
