Hi, my name is Benazir, and I am the General Manager here at Glebefields Care Home.
I started my professional journey as a Paediatric and Neonatal Nurse in India and worked across Middle East countries as a NICU nurse specialist before moving to England in 2019 and starting with Barchester in December 2020. I have extensive experience in clinical care, palliative care and practice development, nursing management and mentoring.
My role as General Manager is to lead the clinical team of nurses, care practitioners and care assistants to provide high quality, person-centred care that exceeds regulatory standards. I believe strongly in collaborative care, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. My door is always open, and I welcome you to visit for a coffee and discussion about our services.

Hi, I am Larisa, Deputy Manager here at Glebefields. My career at Barchester Healthcare began in 2016, initially as a nurse and later on as Unit Manager to one of our sister homes. I am proud to have progressed to the role of Deputy Manager and am passionate in delivering the best quality care to our residents. As a perfectionist, I am committed to maintain the highest standards in everything I do. I am compassionate and dedicated and I'm excited to contribute to promoting a welcoming, caring and homely environment at this wonderful home.

Hello, I'm Biju the home administrator for Glebefields care home. I completed my Post graduation in 1995, and have worked in prestigious companies in India, and as a Financial Controller in United Arab Emirates. I enjoy my role and providing support to our residents and families. As part of the management team, we're dedicated, and passionate in providing outstanding quality of service to make the resident’s lives within Glebefields happy and positive.

Hi, I'm Simon, my role here at Glebefields is Head of Maintenance. I am extremely excited and proud to be supported and empowered to deliver a first-class service to all our residents, their families, visitors and our team.

Whilst part of my role is compliance and health and safety, I feel very passionate about supporting the life enrichment programme, to ensure everyone can build positive lasting memories. I take pride in everything I do within the maintenance department, ensuring that the home and gardens are safe, enjoyable and comfortable to be in.

During my spare time I enjoy most sports, gardening and, of course, DIY! I'm proud to be part of the Glebefields team where we all strive for excellence, for the benefit of everyone.

Hello , I am the Head Chef here at Barchester Glebefields.

I gained my professional qualification over 25 years ago. I have enjoyed a varied career in the hospitality world, working alongside exceptional chefs across multi cuisines, in 5* Hotels, classic restaurants and schools etc.

It's a privilege to be part of the Glebefields family. I enjoy my work and am proud to provide a varied and nutritional experience for our residents, tailoring menus and cooking their favourite meals along with offering new culinary experiences to tempt their palettes.

Hello, my name is Vishnu, and I’m the home's admin assistant and receptionist here at Glebefields care home.

With a background in computer science, I bring excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills to the role. I enjoy meeting new people, getting to know our residents, their families, and friends. Hi, I'm Joan, and I have recently become the Resident Ambassador for Glebefields Care Home. I came to Glebefields in January 2024 for two weeks of respite, and here I am still living happily here. As a resident ambassador I feel I would be a good link between the residents and the team so together we all can have a great living experience at Glebefields.

Hi, my name is Snobia and I’m the 'Acting' Activities Lead for all things ‘Life Enrichment’ at Glebefields care home in Drayton, Banbury.

Having worked as a Care Assistant at Glebefields care home for many years, I've provided support to every department overtime and find the provision of life enrichment through activities, events and outings one of the most rewarding.

Being given the opportunity to fulfil our residents wishes, and enrich their everyday lives with activities and experiences that support their continued wellbeing is a privilege.

As an Activities Coordinator, my aim is to ensure all our resident guests continue to explore their independence, getting to know their lives prior to joining us and enabling them to remain fulfilled.

I joined the Glebefields family in 2023, having earned my master’s degree in electrical engineering from Coventry University. Despite my engineering background, I bring a fresh perspective to enriching the lives of our residents. I enjoy creating an environment where they can have fun, connect with others, and stay mind active. Together with my co-workers, I'm dedicated to making every moment special for our residents, bringing happiness and meaning to their lives. Hi, I'm Kichu, I'm the Head Housekeeper at Glebefields.

Utilizing my management skills gained in previous roles, enables me to lead the Housekeeping team in providing a high standard of living environment for everyone in our home. It is a daily pleasure for me to be involved in caring for our residents’ rooms and their belongings. Getting to know them, and their families is a real privilege and appeals to my caring nature.

My name is Cristina, and I am working as a senior care assistant at Glebefields Care Home. I'm coming from Romania, and my main qualification in my country is a master's degree in geography. I came to the UK in 2017, and I joined Barchester company in Chipping Norton. In 2019 I completed NVQ 2 and in 2021 I completed the NVQ3 Diploma in Adult Care.

In January 2022 I joined the Glebefields team, and since then, I enjoyed coming to work, in a positive environment. Using my knowledge and experience, besides my colleagues, we offer residents and visitors a great experience. I am happy when the residents are happy, and I feel good when I can make a difference in someone's day.

Hi, I am Siju, I have been part of the Glebefields family since 2020. I am experienced in care and have worked previously as a nurse in India. I am proud to play an important part in the health and safety of the home and our resident's lives. I enjoy helping in many areas of the home, you will find me caring for residents and also accompanying them on trips. Variety in my work motivates me to learn and experience more each day, I thoroughly enjoy my work and being a part of the wonderful Glebefields team.
