Lovely care home in a lovely setting. Attentive staff. Good level of care and diet. Physio service very good.
Have been well informed during this difficult time.
We really appreciate your feedback, thank you for leaving us such a positive review.
Very impressed by the attention paid to the patient and therefore, an extreme admirer of the staff, each and every time I have visited, over a number of years. Not only is there an atmosphere of kindness but it seems an active sense of humour, that between all the difficulties, my son is somehow able to participate.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind comments, we are so grateful to receive your lovely review. We are so pleased that you're happy with the care we are providing for your son. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you and your family.
During this pandemic and lockdown, I have felt confident that Wingham is taking the best care of my sister, providing her with activities, and supporting her mentally and physically. The staff are lovely and genuinely care.

Very relaxed and calm environment given the circumstances. Visiting was very well organised and given a reasonable amount of time to spend with loved ones.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We appreciate it is very hard not being able to see your loved one for such a long time. We are very happy to hear you are satisfied with the quality of our care.
Throughout the pandemic, the team have kept me informed of how my wife has been and also facilitated video calls on a daily basis.

Friendly and competent staff, management helpful at all times. Home is very clean as well. Staff are friendly, the manager I deal with is very helpful and understanding. Great place to get the care that you need. The manager is approachable. The manager I talk to is very understanding and the staff are very helpful. This home is well run in my eyes.

I am impressed with the way my son is cared for, and the great priority given to protect residents from covid. He is very happy in here, he and I, hope that he can stay at Wingham Court for the foreseeable future.
Thank you for your kind words; we are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your son in our care.
Due to COVID I haven’t seen my dad since March. This is the longest we haven’t seen each other. Prior to COVID I used to visit my dad 2/3 times a week with my son who all the staff and residents loved and adored, always making us feel welcome and feel like family. I recently have had another son just before Christmas and would love to get him back to make him apart of our Wingham family. Everyone is amazing there and have treated my dad so well over the last 8 years. We speak daily and I know he is being well looked after and keeping busy.
Thank you so much for your really kind comments, we really appreciate your feedback. Thank you for your understanding during this incredibly hard time, we appreciate how difficult it must be not being able to visit your dad the way you usually would. We really hope you and your son's can come and visit us soon! Thank you for trusting us with your dad's care.
I am the guardian of a resident at Wingham Court care centre. This year has been an extremely worrying one for us all, particularly for the unwell and vulnerable. Throughout this time I have been kept very regularly informed by the manager about the safety and wellbeing of the residents at Wingham Court and the precautions put in place to keep everyone well. The resident has told me throughout this difficult time that he feels well, safe, and looked after. This is worth more to me than he will ever know. We find out how good care is in times like these. Wingham Court has proven to provide excellent care throughout, and I know the decision to stay at Wingham Court was and remains the right one. Thank you to all the staff - you are doing a wonderful job.
Thank you for your praise. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments.
Very good.
Thank you for your positive feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us reviews.
I don't have any issues and nothing to complain about so don't have a lot to say but I will say the home is very well managed and run. Everything is neat and tidy and also clean and the staff always seem happy. Basically, it's a professional setup.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible.
The home has always been amazing with my family and others. The staff are all very well trained, and I feel at ease knowing my family member is being cared for in the right way, especially over covid-19. It has been hard on everyone, but Wingham Court has done us all proud! I wouldn't put my family member anywhere else.
Thank you for your understanding during such a difficult time. We appreciate it is very hard not to be able to see your loved one for such a long time. Please let us know if there is anything else, we can do to help.
Myself and my wife have nothing but praise for the excellent care provided for our son, from senior management to the most junior member of staff, the care, professionalism and affection shown not only to our family member but also to the relatives is outstanding.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments.
Everything at Wingham Court is extremely good, except cleaning of room (dependent of which member of staff is on duty).
We will discuss your feedback with the home’s manager to help us continually improve our service.
We hear that they have kept up their supplies of PPE and food etc. and that residents and staff are keeping well. Any time I ring I can always hear music and laughter in the background. The residents are being entertained and having a good time. I miss seeing my husband, but I rather doubt if he is missing me!

Wingham Court is an outstanding facility who set the standard for the kind of care they provide. The residents are happy, cared for and respected. Regardless of their care needs, they are all treated equally and fairly and the staff are happy and cohesive. I couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely comments.
My brother stayed at Wingham Court Care Home. I'm very glad he is in safe hands. Excellent staff and services are in place. I'm very happy and thankful.
Thank you for your kind words.
I visit Wingham Court every month to chat to residents. I find the levels of care very good and residents seem very satisfied with their care arrangements.

Meet the Team (4)

The team at Wingham Court Care Home work incredibly hard to make the residents feel safe and cared for. The staff take pride in the work they do and care very much for all our residents. We are like a big family here!

I have been Unit Manager at Wingham Court since 2018, and I joined Bupa in 2016. I began my career as a pre-registered nurse until I got my NMC PIN in February 2017.
Then, I became a registered nurse/staff nurse from 2017 to 2018, until I became a Unit Manager.
I am an overseas nurse, recruited and sponsored by Bupa from the Philippines. I have experience in Adult/Critical Care Nursing in the Philippines, which helped me pursue a career in the care home sector in the UK.
Being able to make a difference in someone's life and to be part of their journey encourages me to continue my career in Care Services. I enjoy seeing the positive impact of the care we deliver in Wingham Court, to both our residents and their families.
I have been living in the UK since 2016. My family is back home in the Philippines and my husband just recently joined me in the UK last year. I live local to Wingham Court.
If I'm not working, I enjoy going out for walks or going to places around the UK with my friends. I like to try new adventures on my travels. I am a coffee lover and I enjoy trying different cuisines.

My career at Wingham Court began in 2017, I took a short break in service but returned to work in 2023. I have been in my role as Senior Activity Co-ordinator since the beginning of 2024.
I initially joined Wingham Court as a Care Assistant. I have completed several courses over the years to progress my knowledge and skills to support my development. One role that I experienced was Mental Well-Being Co-ordinator, working closely with residents who live with Dementia.
I moved to the UK from the Philippines, and back home I was working with the Squadron Director of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, assisting and promoting the safety of life and property at sea - to help protect the marine environment. We also supported community events and search rescue operations. It is in my nature to care for people, and it was my job to take good care of civilians for their safety and I was there to support them in whatever they needed.
I also studied Care back home, I completed my training in hospitals. I took good care of both my Grandparents and my Dad. Caring is my passion and I love making a positive difference in people's lives.
I enjoy working alongside my Care Services team very much. I go home feeling proud each day that I have made our residents smile and led fun activities for everyone to join. Making a difference is my inspiration.
I was born in the Philippines, in a place known for its clean and clear water, with numerous wonderful waterfalls - called Libacao Aklan. I am one of six children. My late dad was the former Chief of Police in my hometown while my mom had a little trading business.
I love fashion, and I used to participate in beauty pageants. I also love singing, in fact, I was a vocalist in a band and performed in front of a big crowd back home. Some of my hobbies are DIY, reading books, Zumba (I am a licenced instructor) inspiring others and promoting physical, social and mental wellbeing. Lastly, I am a rising digital creator on the Metaverse social media platform.

I began my career with Bupa in 2021, beginning as a Bank Nurse at Wingham Court and working up to becoming a full-time Registered Nurse.
While I was completing my degree in Nursing, I carried out two placements at Wingham Court as part of my course. Once I had finished my studies, I worked in a Neuro Hospital to gain more experience, but I always knew I wanted to come back to work at Wingham Court.
I enjoy working alongside my Care Services team very much. Every day at work is different and I love making a difference in people's lives.
My hobby is tennis, both playing and watching. I like travelling, and working at Wingham Court allows me flexibility in my working hours to ensure I have a good work/home life balance. I am married and have a little boy, Raphael, who is almost 21 months.
