It has been a pleasant experience from when I arrived in November 2020 to the present. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we have a good laugh together. There has been several health scares and the nurses have always acted professionally as well as being kind and reassuring. The food is of a high standard, in plenty of it. If I want any in particular then I can order it for the next day.

All the staff, from the manager to the cleaning staff, have been nothing but helpful and accomodating and they have all built a relationship with my dad that is kind and supportive. We feel welcome here and nothing is too much trouble. It's a real family atmosphere. Food is also plentiful and well cooked and dad has been able to order what he wants, whether day or night! The staff work incredibly hard and any additional support is always available and all staff are open to conversation with me and dad. I'd highly recommend Wykeham House.

Lockdown obviously affected many social activities normally held at Wykeham House. The highlight of our lovely English weather occurred on August 7th when the whole of Wykeham House was treated to a Fun Seaside Day, fish and chips, Ice cream cornets, fresh fruit platters plus lager were on the menu. The rear gardens were loving recreated by staff to remind us of our favourite beach time pleasures. Truly memorable.
