The staff that look after my mother are wonderful and always helpful and I trust them 100% with my mothers care. However I often see other members of staff sitting around on their phones (several times now) and not attending the residents. I found the room dirty with no clean towels, no cups or beakers
in room so she was unable to have a glass of water. Broken towel rail (three years now), bathroom floor isn't the best to be polite. Furniture in room is not fit for purpose (maybe in the 70's). This isn't a scathing review of the home as I could go on but they definitely need to up their game.

My mum came to Priory Court straight from hospital on 9th December. Right from an initial visit on 7th December we were impressed, friendly, relaxed care and yet professional and safe. Mum has had a great stay, been very well looked after and enjoyed her time here. It has been so reassuring to the family

Priory Court has a real family atmosphere and supports the residents and their family/carers. My mother was a resident during her long Alzheimer's journey. The dedication of staff, and care given was second to none, amazing, particularly during the end-of-life care when she was able to stay with her

The Memory Cafe.
A new venture hosted at Priory Court, I came to the second one. I was made so welcome with no pressure, just encouraging chats with those around me. It was led by a community team who were excellent, we had a lovely array of food and drinks! All supplied as a gift from the management.

From the first entry to the Priory Court reception, good, understanding and sympathetic. The room is good and clean, and staff often comes into the room checking all times that my sister was okay. When she pressed the help button she had staff come quickly and were concerned. She said that she had good

Priory Court has proved to be an excellent choice for my 93-year-old mother. It provides a high level of nursing care and also facilitates a good standard of independence. The residents are encouraged eat together in the dining room as well as to take part in various activities. The ensuite bedroom
is nicely furnished and has a patio door which can be opened during fine weather so that she can sit outside.
The staff are always friendly and respond quickly to the call bell if the need arises.

So pleased to go into Priory Court. Nice, clean reception and a pleasant, bright receptionist to greet you and very helpful. My sister is new to Priory Court but know she has settled there very quickly, she has brightened up and amazed at how well she is eating, considering how unwell she has been.
Would like to say a big thank you to the staff, nursing, admin and management and may I say it was a pleasure to meet the management. First time I have been to a care home and met them.

We chose Priory Court as we'd had personal recommendations from a friend whose aunt is a resident. Mym arrived at Priory Court straight from a 3 week hospital stay. We had previously met the manager and were super impressed with the time he spent with us and the interest he had in learning about Mum's
situation. The manager and all the staff, whether it's reception, admin, nurses, HCAs, have all been polite, efficient and caring to Mum and us as the relatives. Nothing is too much trouble. Her room is lovely, the food is great and the atmosphere in the home is cheerful, bright and happy. We are delighted with everything.

The care home provides a high quality of care and the staff are friendly and approachable. The food is of a reasonable standard and snacks are provided on request. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and the sheets and pillowcases are changed daily as well.

I'm so happy I chose Priory Court Care Home for my mum. She continues to receive good care, in a pleasant, friendly, and lively environment.
The staff and management are approachable and more than helpful.
There is a good programme of activities and regular entertainment. In addition I'm now attending
a dementia support group at the home, which has been so helpful.

My name is Biba Mijalceva, and I am the newly appointed Deputy Manager at Priory Court Care Home.


I bring nearly 20 years of experience working with individuals living with acquired or traumatic brain injury, as well as neurological conditions in a hospital setting.


Throughout my career, I have progressed from a junior nurse to a senior nurse, ward sister, and ward manager, honing my knowledge, clinical skills, and abilities.


Before joining the Future Care Group, I served as a Deputy Manager for over 6 years in a privately funded residential care home. My professional journey has equipped me with a deep passion for my work, and I am always ready to face challenges.

I have been at Priory Court for nearly 13 years, where I started working as a care assistant with no experience in the residential unit and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the residents and working with them. This encouraged me to achieve my NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.


After a couple of years, I was promoted to senior care assistant on the nursing unit. This helped me gain more knowledge to complete my NVQ Level 3.


I was then promoted to Senior Care Officer and transferred back to the Residential Unit. I was a Senior Care Officer for around 6 six years before finding the confidence in myself to accomplish NVQ Level 5 in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care.

2 years later I am now the Head of Residential Services for Priory Court.


Although the role can be very challenging at times, I still enjoy working with and developing relationships with the residents, and their families.

Job Title: Maintenance Manager Joined: 2015

I left school at 15 years old and became a plasterer, a trade I stayed with for many years. I worked for various companies and eventually became self-employed for some time. I then entered into the refurbishment management sector, working for various companies. I was involved in many projects such as care homes and housing developments; some of these projects went on for five or six years.


I came to work to Priory Court in September 2015. I'd say the camaraderie with the staff is fantastic and I just love the warm and welcoming atmosphere here. It's very satisfying seeing everyone so happy and always helping each other.


I enjoy making our home and facilities safe for residents, their loved ones and our staff.

Jerome Koh

Job Title: Head Chef Joined: 2021

I joined Priory Court in 2021 as a chef assistant and quickly advanced to Deputy Chef. I am now delighted to have been promoted to Head Chef.


I love creating cakes for our residents and seeing their expressions of appreciation; it truly melts my heart.


Originally from the Philippines, I became a chef there before moving to Canada, where I worked for three years. I then moved to England to be with my wife and started working at Priory Court. I hold a Diploma in Culinary and Pastry Arts, a National Certificate II, and British Standards in Hotel and Restaurant Management.


I am excited to continue contributing to the Priory Court community.

Job Title: Head of Housekeeping

I have been doing housekeeping nearly all my life and I really enjoy it. I applied for a position at Priory Court as I had never worked in a care home environment before and I thought it would be a challenge. When I got the job, I realised I was not wrong, but I absolutely love my job and it is the best choice I have ever made. I enjoy coming to work every day and I have been here over 2 years now and hope to be here for many more.
