This care home is listed as one of the best around this area. However, there is more could be done and altered in certain areas. The gardens are well maintained and trim the trees etc. Food, on the whole, is good but could be more variety. Fire drill is done here but should be done more often.
Very friendly and caring staff. Rooms could be tidier, clothes not hung up in closet. No facilities for visitors where they can make a tea during visits.
Since my husband has been resident in the nursing section, I have been very happy with the care he has received. The staff are all friendly, helpful and caring. The residents are stimulated by having quizzes/films/games morning and afternoon. There is a choice of menus each day and visitors can also have a meal if they wish. My family had a great Christmas dinner with my husband.
Very good care especially physio/activities etc.
I have been a respite client for a few weeks and the care and staff have been excellent.
Have been a few issues but these have generally been resolved. Slight lack of continuity with information. Staff very kind overall. Excellent menu and food choice. Is there a shortage of staff? Never enough time? Sometimes difficult to understand or be understood. Have had a lovely Christmas. All staff very happy and helpful and made very welcome. Thank you.
I have been fortunate with the home my daughter, brother and nursing friends have chosen for me. When I arrived 4 months ago, I was totally dependent and needed two carers to get me out of bed, washed and dressed. Reduced one carer fairly quickly I now can do most things for myself. Only need occasional help with washing hair. Can now walk unaided but use a stick when not confident. Hopeful to be back in my own home very swiftly due in many ways to the care received at Priory Court but also due to my own determination.
We have been so happy with the care provided by all members of the team. Without exception, everyone I've spoken to has been friendly and helpful. Care is provided promptly and with a willing and pleasant attitude - qualified nurses, unqualified care assistants, cleaning and kitchen staff plus management. A wonderful nursing home with high standards of care.
Having worked at Priory Court, I observed the residential care first hand and had no reservations about my step-mother staying at the home.
My mum was against moving from her own home but at every stage, from an initial home assessment to a joint meeting with the manager and deputy manager (at Priory Court), to the day she was admitted, I cannot praise the professionalism of the staff enough.
She is now living in the residential area of the home, as suggested by the deputy manager, in order for her to have the maximum amount of mental and physical stimulation.
The manager of the residential area is superb, she is comforting, professional and is keeps us informed of any issues promptly. In six weeks my mother has already improved in her mood, physically and socially.
We are so delighted she has some of her sparkle back and she can only further improve. Thank you to all staff, you are fab!
Overall, could do with more staff. Don't always answer the bell. My husband cannot feed himself yet they will leave tea and cake afternoons when there is no one visiting. He does need help all times.
If we do have any problems the staff are happy to listen to any concerns and always try to help resolve things.
Most of the staff are very friendly which goes a long way for both resident and family.
From the introduction and initial assessment of my mother's condition, all the staff have been supportive, knowledgeable and responsive. Mum has settled in quickly and is very complimentary of the staff who attend to her.
My family are very happy at the level of care and service provided for my mum. The staff are very thoughtful and offer care, concern and activities for her. I always feel welcome when I arrive and staff are on hand to offer updates and news.
Priory Court meets all our expectations.
The staff go above and beyond.
Although it's hard for Mum to be away from home she is welcomed and made to feel safe and secure, as are we.
It's a refreshing break for Mum.
Thank you all so very, very much for taking care of my precious Mum.
Clean, comfortable surroundings.
Efficient administration.
Interative social programme for stimualtion fo residentce.
Ensure residents have maximum quality of life, maintaining dignity and respect for residents.
My mum was due to be discharged from hospital but her mobility was non-existent due to having been in bed for three weeks so we arranged for mum to go to Priory Court in Ewell for convalescence and rehabilitation. After two weeks at Priory Court with daily physio mum was able to walk with a frame and generally move around. Nursing staff and carers were all very kind and helpful.
I was very pleased with the care that my mother had at Priory Court from June 2016- Feb 2017 when she unfortunately died. She was extremely happy with all the staff and care and so was I thank you. The staff were always smiling, considerate, patient and very caring.
I'm impressed with the care my cousin is receiving at Priory Court. She is safe and as comfortable as possible and the environment is friendly and supportive at every level.
Everyone is so pleasant and happy.
