Before my friend reached 'The Chaseley Trust', she was in a very distressed state. It was heart-wrenching to see someone I cared for, and someone who loved and cared for so many others during her too short a life, having to endure so much discomfort. Thankfully, with the help of the palliative care
team from the hospice, she was placed under the care of the dedicated team of nurses and support staff at The Chaseley. Very quickly, her frustration dissipated, her pain was managed, the simple alternative treatments she longed for were willingly given, and for the first time, in a very long time, my friend rested calmly. Thank you, Chaseley.

My friend is currently a resident at Chaseley, and whilst we haven't been able to visit them inside the building for nearly a year, we were able to do some garden visits in the summer (in between lockdowns), and we regularly catch up on Facetime.


The team at Chaseley have done an amazing job looking

after the residents throughout the whole Covid pandemic and have done their best to keep everyone safe and happy. They are always friendly and willing to assist with any visits or Facetimes when needed. The activities team have been brilliant at ensuring everyone is kept busy and entertained, we know they had singers in the garden over the summer, and they even organised Christmas Zoom bingo for residents and their families.


The care team are also amazing, and probably don't get the recognition they deserve, but when we can visit once more, my family will be sure to tell them.


We are all grateful for the care, the support and the fun that Chaseley give our friend.

One of my friends has been at The Chaseley Trust for nearly 4-years, and she has really progressed since living there. My twin and I used to visit when we were able to, but due to Covid, all visits were stopped. However, the activities team help us to speak to our friend via video call, it's really
easy to organise, and they have always been able to accommodate the times we ask for.


My friend loves to do art and is really lucky that The Chaseley Trust have an art room that she can use most days. There are a lot of activities put on for the residents and a real mixture of choices, which is good as the other residents all vary in age. My friend really enjoys living at The Chaseley Trust, but her ultimate goal is to have her own flat and with the support of her carers and the physio team she is working towards that goal, fingers crossed 2021 will be her year.

I have a friend who is staying at the home, and I personally feel that since she has been there; they have done a great job in supporting her needs and development. Not only helping her become more independent but always having her best interests in mind. They have great facilities available with a
good physio department. I, and my family, also love joining in with the cooking classes and other activities that are available when we visit our friend, and she loves being able to do normal stuff with us.

My friend is a resident here. I think the work the staff do with the residents is the highest standard. All staff are happy friendly and bubbly. They interact with the family and friends of the residents too and keep everybody involved. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere, and there is always seems something
fun going on whether that be cooking or painting etc. They also provide summer fairs, which are always great fun with live music entertainment, which again, everybody is welcomed too. The standard of this home is exceptional; it really is wonderful.

The care home is a really nice, friendly place for new residents to be introduced in to. The staff are always polite and welcoming to new and old residents, or family. They look after my Nan really well and she’s always left in good condition. The staff help her out and the family's as well. The care

Sadly my husband spent 3 weeks in their care before he died but the care he received was exceptional. He and our family were treated with such care and support the nursing staff were so kind and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot praise them enough. Here the residents come first, they have the freedom
to go out when able make their own rooms personal and take part in the activities and entertainment everything is done to make a home from home environment

The Chaseley Trust is one of the best care facilities I have been to. Staff are amazing. Very caring and kind to the patients. There are people seriously ill here and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. They are heroes and we are so very lucky to have found this care facility. Very relaxing

I was visiting The Chaseley Trust for the first time and was leaving my carers in Milton Keynes for the first time in eleven years so it was very daunting. The staff made me feel very at ease and welcome. I was sure I made the right decision very quickly. Every department introduced themselves to me
which made me feel at ease. Everyone from the clinical manager to the housekeeping staff. The food was excellent as was any aspect of the package. I couldn't fault them and would definitely stay again.

The Chaseley Trust recently rated exceptional by the CQC certainly lives up to its rating. I am short term resident here for the second time. I live in Plymouth and the journey is worth it. The staff, accommodation, food and activities are superb. My stay here has been extended four weeks to three months.
I recommend coming here.

I have recently moved rooms to accommodate my needs i.e more like assisted living where I can come and go, cook and have more of a staff ratio so they can spend more time to my needs.
I enjoy watching DVDs and listening to CDs and all this is available to me. I like going out so taxis are booked. I
can go into town or an art gallery etc assisted by a volunteer or member of staff. The staff are excellent and the home suits my needs as a person with cerebral palsy.
