The most wonderful staff and extraordinary care. Could not wish for a better place for my mum. Thank you for all you do. Well-balanced meals. Facilities are brilliant. Clean and beautifully maintained.

I was made to feel welcome. Staff were/are very friendly and attentive. There is a family atmosphere. Pleasant room and gardens.

I had cared for my mum during the past few months after she has been diagnosed with lung cancer. I was so sad watching her become weaker and felt very concerned what to expect. When she became very poorly and at "end-of-life" came into Sovereign Lodge, I was worried about how I would find her... she was there for dour days, but in those days, she became peaceful, relaxed and her symptoms became no worse. We all said our goodbyes, and the staff were so kind. She passed away the best possible way she could.

From our family's first contact with Sovereign Lodges staff, we knew that our beloved mum was in very safe hands. Her room was light, airy and easily made "homely". Her care was exemplary, and the many kindnesses shown to her and to us, her family, are now treasured memories. Sovereign Lodge made our Mum's last few weeks wonderfully serene and happy, and for that, we express enormous gratitude. We cannot thank you enough.

He is well looked after and happy in his surroundings. Staff are patient with him and happy to have a laugh and joke, even though his sense of humour can be awkward.

We have found all the staff to be very helpful and kind. It's never an easy part of someone's life "old age", and if people go out of their way to make it better for you, it means so much to that person going through it and all the family! We are, as a family, all so grateful to Sovereign Lodge for all their help shown to Mum and her family.

My mother has sadly been bedbound for four years, but when I visit, she always appears comfortable, clean and hydrated. Her room is always clean and tidy, and the staff care about her appearance. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I have to travel two hours each way to visit her, and the care home is always accommodating and approachable.

I have been visiting the service user as a friend (first introduced to her through the Alzheimer's group) weekly - (except during the Covid lockdown). I have always found the staff and managers of the care centre to be efficient, friendly and keen to make the visits as pleasant and successful as possible. I was very impressed with all Covid arrangments - testing, PPE and especially the "pod" or summerhouse in the garden.

Excellent as always. My mother is very well cared for. Her room is always spotless. The staff are very approachable. Nothing is too much trouble.

We received a good welcome, and all Covid rules were followed with the correct security procedure. All the staff we met were very approachable and kind, as well as being well informed and considerate. We appreciated a few words with our relative's named nurse and also the manager, who was very supportive.

My husband was very happy here during a short stay (one month). The staff were so kind and friendly. A very nice home - large rooms and a varied menu. Plenty of choices. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend to others.

My siblings and I have been delighted with the care that our father has received at Sovereign Lodge. The standard of care has been consistently high, and the staff have gone out of their way to strike up a rapport with Dad. We all feel that Dad is very happy here.

My wife's daughter (my stepdaughter) visited from South Africa, and the thing that impressed her most, and gave her the most comfort, was the attitude and quality of all the staff. I can only agree with her. Excellent all-round. Thank you.

My wife suffers from dementia and epilepsy. She has been at Sovereign Lodge for three months. The staff are friendly, helpful, courteous and kind to both patients and visitors. The accommodation and care provided are of good quality, caring and efficient. I would recommend this establishment to friends.

My experience with Sovereign Lodge has been very good. My mum seems happy with her surroundings and the staff, and the staff are always friendly and helpful to the family. We recently had to move my mum into the home permanently, and the manager was very accommodating letting us bring in her personal bits to make her room more homely. I feel that everyone has the residents as their number one priority. Well done to all.

My mum moved into Sovereign Lodge in December, and she has settled well after having been really poorly in hospital. I have met a number of staff who have been welcoming, friendly and cheerful. Mum keeps saying she is safe here and ware and doesn't;t want to move anywhere else. I believe there has been a real answer to our prayers, that God has blessed my mum by providing such a beautiful home with beautiful carers.

I'm extremely grateful to the Sovereign Lodge team for the excellent standard of care given to my grandfather in his final weeks. It was a great comfort to know that he was safe, comfortable and being treated with dignity and respect. The staff and the manager were supportive and lovely. The facility itself was very clean, with decent rooms and a positive atmosphere.
