My father, who was 92, was looked after by all the professional staff at Sovereign Lodge with such kindness and care, we couldn't have asked for more. Sadly my father passed away last month, but right up until the end, everyone treated him and our family with such compassion. My father had dementia and sadly deteriorated with this terrible disease, but the staff kept his spirits up with such care and kept us as a family very well informed. I cannot recommend the care home highly enough. Thank you all so much.

My father, who was 92, was taken into the care of Sovereign Lodge in March 2021. This was after having had a few weeks of respite care as my mother, who is 91, very reluctantly had to face the fact that she could no longer care for him due to his worsening dementia. My father was treated with the utmost care, kindness, patience and respect from his arrival at Sovereign Lodge until he sadly died recently. As a family, we cannot thank all of the staff enough for the amazing way they cared for my father and indeed ourselves. We were always kept informed and bearing in mind Covid, which made visits etc more complicated; we couldn't have asked for more.

All staff have been pleasant, kind and most helpful in every way. They have cared for my husband with all consideration and kindness. The food has been very good quality, and there have been no complaints. Love was excellent o both him and me, especially in his final days. Very efficient.

The staff at Sovereign Lodge are totally wonderful and truly professional. My mother was a resident for six years, and my father for the last 14-months. They were both treated with absolute respect and care. My mother sadly passed away at the end of February this year, and my father has now returned home. Members of staff have phoned him to check how he's doing and to say they will keep in touch.

My mother was in very poor health and had severe dementia, and the care she received was faultless.

My sister and I were kept totally up to date with her care and how both my father and mother were coping.

The home is excellent. It would be hard to fault anything and during the pandemic, we have had total care and dedication in the most difficult circumstances. Incredible all-round. We are very fortunate for our mother to be here.

My elderly mother recently spent a few weeks at Sovereign Lodge as part of a respite care package after she left the Conquest Hospital in Hastings. As she had never been in a care home before our family did not know what to expect but were delighted to find that she received excellent and very professional care at Sovereign Lodge. She had to spend a couple of weeks in isolation, not leaving her room after arriving as per Covid restrictions, which was difficult for her, but the staff were very kind and attentive and really looked after her. We were also pleased to find that at a time when visiting was not possible, communication with the home was very good. Before my mother was admitted I was phoned by the manager and we had a long and detailed conversation about my mother’s medical history and care needs. Subsequently, phone enquiries were always answered rapidly, things were soon followed up on and everyone we spoke to was always knowledgeable about my mother’s progress.

All the care that I have received during my stay at Sovereign Lodge Care Centre has been excellent. It is thoroughly to be recommended.

All staff have been very caring for Mum; she is very happy here and settled. Staff and the manager are always very nice and smiling and always happy to help with telephone and video calls. I would really recommend this home. Thank you to the staff and manager; they do a great job.

The manager and the team have been coping admirably during this extremely difficult time. The provision of the garden hub to ensure that even when social distance has to be observed, and inclement weather, is with us, visits to loved ones are still able to be carried out.

My time at Sovereign Lodge has been one of comfort and happiness. Very friendly carers and residents alike. I am fortunate to be cared for by the people here.

I can not thank Sovereign Lodge enough for caring for my mum. My mum is very happy and content at Sovereign Lodge. She is very well cared for. The home is lovely, the gardens are beautiful, plenty of activities, the food is good, the staff are amazing, caring and kind. The manager is lovely, I can not thank you enough. My mum is happy and a lot more confident while being in Sovereign Lodge. I would highly recommend.

Sovereign Lodge and its excellent staff have provided a first-rate home for my mother over the last 15 months. The staff are always approachable, smiling and ready to listen and help with any requests. My mum has been looked after excellently and I am glad we found this home for her.

I have now become very disabled, but all the staff and helpers could not be more caring and helpful in day to day tasks.

Excellent care received by my Mother in Law. Staff was always helpful and very thoughtful. No matter when I or any family members contacted by phone there was always a polite and efficient staff member who was only too pleased to help. I would recommend Sovereign Lodge as a lovely care facility for any member of my family who needed care. Lovely room and facilities and they treated my Mother in Law with dignity and kindness and were with her when she sadly passed away, which made us as a family very grateful.

The Manager with her nursing and care staff responded quickly to the tragic Covid-19 pandemic showing that good nursing and care protocols are embedded in the team, despite very challenging times. In summary, expensive but safe and high-quality care is provided.

My mum was in Sovereign Lodge for about 4 months. The transition from hospital was seamless. The Manager was very approachable and totally "got" my mum within a few days of her stay there. The nursing staff were all very caring, and the majority of care assistants were very good at their jobs. It was a welcoming place, friendly and supportive to both resident and family members. When my mum deteriorated, all the staff showed great compassion and empathy at all times. In her last few days, they couldn't have done enough for her. They were attentive, caring and truly engaged at what they had to do. They always told me the truth about my mum's actions and needs.

My mother in law was in Sovereign Lodge for around 4 months. All the staff treated her with dignity, respect and empathy. The Manager was great and really put my wife's mind at ease about her mum. They always did the best for her. The nursing staff were all very friendly and very capable and remained calm. If my mum or dad needed care I would certainly look here first.
