For myself, recovery was made possible at an early date because of consistent professional care by all the staff.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and we are delighted we could help.
Victoria Chartwell is amazing. Everyone is so kind and caring, me and my family can't thank the staff enough for the care of my Mum. We would all highly recommend Victoria Chartwell and my Mum has enjoyed the care and fun she's had with all the staff. The food is fantastic (thank you to the chefs) and the physio support is amazing. Can't thank you all enough for everyone's kindness, patience and care.
Thank you so much for awarding us a 5-star review.
The physio team worked so well with her to get her strong and back home.
I can't thank everyone enough for the kindness you showed Mum and our family.
Thank you so much for your 5-star review. Much appreciated.
I am so grateful for everything you done for me. So much care and support.
Thank you for awarding us a 5-star review! Much appreciated.
So pleased my Father was taken care of at this nursing home.
Thank you so much for your wonderful words of support. Very kind.
I have found my stay here very satisfactory and would recommend this care home to anyone.
Thank you very much for your kind support. Much appreciated.
My dad's been a resident here since having several foods and was referred by the hospital. I can't compliment the staff here enough, every single one of them is genuinely interested in each resident and spends time chatting and I can confirm the care here has been taken is not just in his room. He constantly enjoys the food, enjoys the conversation with all his nurses and carers and the fabulous place.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Much appreciated.
The last days of my brother's life were difficult for him and his family, but the nursing and care staff were so kind to all of us and made the whole situation bearable. Thank you to the manager and your wonderful staff. We'll never forget you.
Thank you so much for your very touching and kind review. We are terribly sorry for your loss but delighted that we could help.
I came to Victoria Chartwell for rehab on 23/09/24. This is ongoing, I am still here. Since arriving I have been shown nothing but kindness and good care. Being in pain and unable to do personal care for myself, the staff have all been exceptional in their care for me and preserving my dignity where possible. The food is good and tasty and the rooms are clean.
Thank you for your lovely review and I hope you get well very soon.
The care has been exceptional. All staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The room has the most amazing views of the downs and the sea. The staff go above and beyond to assist and make you feel safe. I'd recommend Victoria Chartwell. The physio has arrived daily for rehab. As most care homes meet standards.
Thank you for your 5-star review. Very much appreciated.
Everyone makes you feel special and really cared for. No rush. All the staff are very happy and are always ready to help you in any way you need them. You are encouraged to go down to the lounge to be with other residents. Activities are helpful too. And the food is good. I would stay here if I could.
This is wonderful to read and the team at Chartwell will be rightly delighted. Thank you.
The hospital sent me to the nursing home for rehabilitation. The care was friendly, respectful and kind. The home was comfortable and clean and the food was good. The intensive physiotherapy within a month changed me from immobility to walking amazingly!
So glad that your stay worked so very well and thank you for the 5-star rating.
Perfect treatment on arrival, attention day and night. All staff are extremely friendly, everything to get you well. Many activities to take part in. Wide variety of food, all freshly cooked which is very good, no complaints.
Thank you so much for your review. Much appreciated.
Staff kind, caring and polite. Couldn't wish for better. Rooms need decorating and made cheerful and welcoming. The entrance hallway needs decorating. TV badly needs upgrading, most difficult to operate!
Thank you, we are working towards a full refurbishment of the home and feel sure this will address your very valid points. Best wishes.
My visits are always a pleasant experience. The activities coordinator is so much fun. I sometimes stay for lunch and it is always very good. All the staff I meet are so friendly. Well done.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. Best wishes.
I have been here for 4 weeks now and I find all the staff extremely helpful, attentive and caring. I am very happy with my choice.
Thank you for your review and whilst you are very happy, I wonder what we could do to make you feel 5-star?
All staff are friendly, helpful and caring to residents and their families. They are always happy to talk and update us on the resident (my dad).
From the welcome I received when arriving from the hospital to the day I left for home, I received the absolute best in kindness and overall care from all staff and physios. Aware that I was recovering from surgery, I was supported sensitively throughout my stay. This contributed to my eventual mobility to continue my recovery at home. Victoria Chartwell must be rated excellent in all areas.
Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review. Much appreciated.
My overall experience at Victoria Chartwell and impression is excellent. The food and staff are especially good. I was impressed by the grounds and my overall experience at a difficult time for me was excellent and I would certainly recommend.
Thank you for rewarding us with a 5-star review. They are much appreciated.
On my arrival at Victoria Chartwell, I was made welcome by the manager and shown to my room. I have found everyone I have been in contact with friendly, caring and very patient. The food is good, even to being asked if there is anything I particularly like that was added to the menu. After my wife's death some years ago my life was becoming difficult but now with the care I receive at Chartwell, it is much improved. The ageing process is less hard to live with so I am very happy to reside here among so many of the younger staff looking after me.
It's wonderful to read about your very positive experience. Thank you.
