My mum (97) had been living independently with assistance but fell and broke her wrist. She was sent from hospital to Amberley Hall for rehabilitation, mum already had cognitive issues but in general i would say that all staff treated her well and with respect. At any time there was concerns for her health the home contacted a nurse or GP and kept me up to date via the telephone. I was always made welcome on my regular visits to see mum. Thank you.

Mum was sent to Amberley for rehabilitation after a stay in hospital. Her room was bright, clean and met her needs. NHS rehab staff were very active, trying to get individuals mobile again. The team leaders kept us informed of any notable points and were very approachable. The care staff are very friendly and made mum very welcome and made her short stay as pleasant as possible. The cafe is an ideal place for visitors to join up with loved ones.

Forever grateful to the staff for agreeing to welcome my father from A&E "after hours". We were all shown such kindness during the time Dad was there. Dad did not like the food and was not well enough to participate in the activities. We were surprised there was no TVV in the room. Someone else's slipper was found under Dad's bed, which made us question the cleanliness.

Thank you to everyone who cared for my father during a very stressful time. Would recommend.

Mum was taken with some other residents on a trip to the lavender farm. I met them there and it was such a happy experience. All the carers were so kind and thoughtful and everyone had a lovely time. Going out of the home where it is possible is so valuable for their mental health and happiness. A big thank you to everyone who organised it.

My father-in-law has been in Amberley Hall since September 2025 for rehabilitation but dementia has set in, and his ability to walk again became non-existent, but the care and kindness and making him and us so welcome was amazing. He is now at Amberley permanently, and his wife is a resident too, so they are still together. The persistence from management of Amberley, we are truly grateful.

Mum was a resident at Amberley Hall for 6 years. The staff on Kensington Wing were exceptional and we are very thankful for the love and support they showed to mum. In the last few years, Mum has really struggled to communicate, and the staff have had to anticipate her needs, which they have done wonderfully. When I visited mum, everyone was very friendly and wanted to keep me up to date with mum's condition. I would highly recommend Amberly Hall to others.

Lovely visit to Amberley today, the staff work so hard to entertain their residents. Today was a dementia cafe with mocktails, lovely atmosphere, sun was shining on the outside and the inside! My father in law drank 2 mocktails, he thought he was drinking a cocktail in the sunshine, lovely to see the residents enjoying themselves.

Well done to the entertainment team, keep up the good work

Hello, my name is Blessy, and I am the Home Manager here at Amberley Hall.

From a very young age, I knew I wanted to help others, and that passion naturally led me into a career in healthcare. I began my nursing journey over 20 years ago at the highly respected Dr M.G. R. Medical University, Tamil Nadu, India. During this time, I specialised in Haematology and Operative Surgery within a multi-specialist hospital. One of my proudest achievements after obtaining my BSc in Nursing was progressing to Senior Lead Matron and becoming a course tutor for General Nursing.

I continued to build on my knowledge and experience by completing my MSc Mental Health Nursing, and once in the U.K, I went on to work as Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager at a well-regarded care home in Dulwich - further strengthening my commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care before moving to King's Lynn in the beautiful county of Norfolk.

Providing exemplary care is at the very heart of everything our team at Amberley Hall does. Nothing matters more to me than ensuring that every resident who makes Amberley Hall their home, or joins us for a short-term respite stay, receives the highest quality of care, dignity, and respect always.

I fully understand the trust that residents and their families place in us when they choose Amberley Hall, and I take this responsibility very seriously. It is a true privilege to get to know our residents and their families and friends, listen to their life stories, and share meaningful moments while creating happy memories in a warm and supportive environment.

If there is ever anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to get in touch. My door is always open, my team and I will always do our very best to support you, and I look forward to welcoming you to Amberley Hall very soon!

Hello, my name is Arun, and I am the Deputy Manager here at Amberley Hall.

From an early age, I knew that caring for others was my true calling, and supporting people to live with dignity, comfort, and respect has always been my greatest motivation. I obtained my BSc in General Nursing in India, specialising in Intensive Care Nursing, which helped develop my strong clinical knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality care.

In 2021, I moved to the UK to further my career and worked as a Lead Nurse and Peripatetic Deputy Manager for one of the country’s largest care providers, specialising in elderly residential, dementia, and nursing care. This experience allowed me to broaden my leadership skills while continuing to focus on delivering compassionate and person-centred care.

I strongly believe that dignity, kindness, and empathy are the foundations of excellent care, and as Deputy Manager here at Amberley Hall I am incredibly proud to support and mentor such a dedicated team! Every single one of us is committed and driven to ensure that all residents at our home receive outstanding care every single day and always.
