Overall, the care and treatment afforded to my husband were first class. The care home has a friendly and very comfortable atmosphere. Food and hospitality exceptional. The entertainment laid on for the residents is also first class including a cinema and entertainers with a lively personality.

My father was at Amberley Hall Care Home for respite while my mum had an operation but the operation was cancelled due to hospital pressures but my dad stayed in for his two weeks as he has early stages of vascular dementia. He was cared for so lovely and he enjoyed the company of staff and other residents. The home is spotless and has a great manager and great staff.

My mother in law died on the 3rd February. Her care had been wonderful and the consideration to her next of kin in the week leading up to her death was very supportive. Mum had been at Amberley for 3 years and all the staff had shown high levels of care and concern and gave mum dignity in her last years. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses and management should be congratulated on a well-run care home.

Dad was transferred to Amberley Hall from hospital. He had many issues and many medical problems. After an initial, very distressing 'settling in', he quietened down and although there were still moments due to his behaviour and claustrophobia, these became less frequent.

The staff and management team treated him respectuflly and always had time to talk. He passed away peacefully after a six week stay.

A great care home with a lovely family feel, all the staff from managers to DIY men know my dads name and say hello every time they see him (he loves that).

The staff work so hard to keep the home clean and residents comfortable. The food is always fresh home cooked and healthy, and his clothes are always washed dried and back in his wardrobe by the next day. It is hard to put your parents in a home but I can honestly say although there were a few teething problems at first, that I am now so happy that he is here safe and well looked after. The cafe is a lovely touch and we use it every day.

Amberley Hall care home is in a very quiet location. It is very well equipped and efficiently run by hard working staff who are friendly and caring. I stayed for a two-week respite break following surgery to remove a cancerous growth. If my cancer is found to be malignant requiring a course of chemotherapy I would certainly stay again at Amberley Hall.

I arrived at Amberley Hall Care Home with two broken wrists and not able to do anything for myself. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Their help, kindness and consideration were something I shall always be grateful for at a very difficult time for me. Their attitude to my frustration was to help me get over it and laugh again! I think they saved my sanity.

The experiences I have had with Amberley Hall are excellent.
With regards to my husband, the care and dedication cannot be faulted.
If my husband is experiencing any problems they are with him immediately and if I need to get any staff members to him they are with him straight away with no delays, they are so kind.

It is not anything you want to do, putting a dear husband into a nursing home, most upsetting, but I feel very comfortable leaving him at the home knowing he is being well looked after at all times.

I had major surgery for cancer so went there for respite. They need more staff as they take a long time to answer the bell. One good thing is that the food is good and you have the option to have in it your room or the main dining room. I chose the dining room as I enjoyed the company.

Amberley Hall Care Home offers a home from home environment. It is exceptionally maintained. Residents are cared for in a dignified and friendly manner.

My mother has been a resident for just over 18 months. Her health has greatly improved as well as her weight. She enjoys most activities and has been Queen of Karaoke sing alongs, a side to mum I knew nothing else.

Mum is really happy and settled. The staff have nurtured both her any myself in the transition to Amberley Hall. If any concerns, they are addressed immediately - not as though anything major is a concern. I cannot recommend Amberley Hall, its staff and management highly enough.

I would recommend Amberley Hall without hesitation. I am so grateful to the staff here for the professional care, guidance and unstinting support they have offered both me and my mother throughout her physical and mental decline over the past 18 months. It is a huge relief to know she is in safe hands, being looked after by kind, friendly, polite, diligent and unerringly patient people. The carers are consistently aware of how my mother is doing each day, very much cater for her idiosyncrasies and always find time (in no doubt a busy day) to discuss any concerns or issues I may choose to raise.

I simply don't know how I would have coped without them.

On the whole, the home has a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. As with most things in life, the devil is in the detail. One can only assess the package on short visits, but seen nothing to raise alarm bells.
Minor issues are; Clothing is not put away, toiletries run down (who replaces them when family is not around)??
Some missing items not reported to family.
Outer excursions seemed to have stopped?

Not an easy one, but the continuity of staff is vital - able to respond proactively where issues arise. "Know your client".

The carers are very hard working and attentive towards all residents. Constant care and support is issued to a very high standard with family members being made very welcome. I witness the standard of the food on a weekly basis, it is a very high-quality menu with a range of options available. Cleanliness is very important at Amberley Hall, therefore, cleaners attend to all rooms on a daily basis, leaving all rooms cleaned to a very high standard. Although only three topics have been mentioned my experience has allowed me to witness all areas and I believe that Amberley Hall takes care and pride with all aspects.

My mother has vascular dementia. I cannot describe how since becoming a resident at Amberley, her quality of life has improved. The staff go out of their way to stimulate her physically and mentally. That includes all the staff, from managers to the domestics.

Professional, loving care from specialist staff on the Sandringham Way palliative care wing. We arrived as a family severely traumatised by a dreadful hospital experience, aware that mums time was far shorter than it should have been.

Both my mum and I were cared for, understood and made as comfortable as possible for mum's remaining days. I'm only sorry it wasn't for the period of time it could have been, if the hospital had behaved better. Thank you all, for everything you did for us.

My dad was admitted late one evening in early February as he was in the final stage of terminal cancer and needed more medical care than we could give at home. He was well looked after up until his sad death a few days later. One nurse, in particular, was fantastic with him and they built up a great rapport and she cared about us as well and was a great support to us.

My dad only stayed in Amberley Hall for one night as he was put in there from hospital for end of life care. It was a lovely peaceful environment and he was treated with dignity and respect at all times. The staff were lovely and friendly and you could have tea and coffee when you wanted to. I feel that my dad felt comfortable enough to let go in Amberley Hall and died very peacefully in the end. I'm glad he passed away in there and not in hospital.

Hello, my name is Blessy, and I am the Home Manager here at Amberley Hall.

From a very young age, I knew I wanted to help others, and that passion naturally led me into a career in healthcare. I began my nursing journey over 20 years ago at the highly respected Dr M.G. R. Medical University, Tamil Nadu, India. During this time, I specialised in Haematology and Operative Surgery within a multi-specialist hospital. One of my proudest achievements after obtaining my BSc in Nursing was progressing to Senior Lead Matron and becoming a course tutor for General Nursing.

I continued to build on my knowledge and experience by completing my MSc Mental Health Nursing, and once in the U.K, I went on to work as Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager at a well-regarded care home in Dulwich - further strengthening my commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care before moving to King's Lynn in the beautiful county of Norfolk.

Providing exemplary care is at the very heart of everything our team at Amberley Hall does. Nothing matters more to me than ensuring that every resident who makes Amberley Hall their home, or joins us for a short-term respite stay, receives the highest quality of care, dignity, and respect always.

I fully understand the trust that residents and their families place in us when they choose Amberley Hall, and I take this responsibility very seriously. It is a true privilege to get to know our residents and their families and friends, listen to their life stories, and share meaningful moments while creating happy memories in a warm and supportive environment.

If there is ever anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to get in touch. My door is always open, my team and I will always do our very best to support you, and I look forward to welcoming you to Amberley Hall very soon!

Hello, my name is Arun, and I am the Deputy Manager here at Amberley Hall.

From an early age, I knew that caring for others was my true calling, and supporting people to live with dignity, comfort, and respect has always been my greatest motivation. I obtained my BSc in General Nursing in India, specialising in Intensive Care Nursing, which helped develop my strong clinical knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality care.

In 2021, I moved to the UK to further my career and worked as a Lead Nurse and Peripatetic Deputy Manager for one of the country’s largest care providers, specialising in elderly residential, dementia, and nursing care. This experience allowed me to broaden my leadership skills while continuing to focus on delivering compassionate and person-centred care.

I strongly believe that dignity, kindness, and empathy are the foundations of excellent care, and as Deputy Manager here at Amberley Hall I am incredibly proud to support and mentor such a dedicated team! Every single one of us is committed and driven to ensure that all residents at our home receive outstanding care every single day and always.
