All the staff at Melford Court were very good at times you needed them for anything. They looked after my wife better than you could have done at home yourself and made sure she was always comfortable.

My wife entered Melford Court Care Home in September 2022. I chose it because my impression was that the staff enjoyed working there, that it was a happy place to work and that they were very efficient but also very kind. Now, after a few months, I confirm that, in my view, Melford Court is an excellent care home and would recommend it to anyone looking for nursing care. The staff are exceptional and efficient but very kind and caring and my wife, who is nearing the end of her life, is looked after really well and I am most grateful.

My mother has just spent four and a half weeks in Melford Court following a stay in hospital after a fall. The care she has received has been exceptional, I cannot fault it. Melford Court is very comfortable, safe and staffed to a high level, there was always somebody on hand to help my mother or answer any of my queries. The staff seem unfailingly kind, even when really rushed and the food is excellent. I would not hesitate to use Melford Court again if the need arose.

The staff are always very helpful and friendly towards myself and my husband. The food at Melford Court is excellent and very varied and is appreciated by my husband who does need help with feeding at all times. There is a very nice lounge where activities also take place in the afternoons.

Kim is the dedicated Home Manager at Melford Court Care Home, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of care to her role. She began her journey at Melford Court as a Carer, where she demonstrated a strong commitment to developing her skills and knowledge. During this time, she successfully completed her NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Keen to further her professional growth, Kim went on to train as a Registered Nurse at West Suffolk Hospital. Her passion and leadership abilities quickly became evident, leading her to progress to the role of Ward Sister, where she gained valuable experience in clinical practice, team leadership, and high-quality patient care.
In 2019, Kim returned to Melford Court as Deputy Manager, bringing her enhanced clinical expertise and leadership skills back to the home where her career began. Her dedication and vision for excellence saw her progress to the role of Home Manager in 2023.
Kim is proud to lead the team at Melford Court, focusing on delivering compassionate, high-quality care and creating a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff.
