Barchester Oulton Park Care Home

My brother returned to the home after a spell in hospital, they made him so welcome. It was also his birthday, they are all so caring. I can't thank them enough, his room was changed so he could use a wheelchair, brilliant team.

Thank you for the care and attention given to my parents during their stay with you.

Experience in the past for a resident friend and today viewing for a friend for respite care in September, this is second to none in comfort, facilities, and the most caring of staff it is like a luxury hotel all on one floor.

Professionalism, friendly and helpful staff. I am my family wanted the best level of care for our mother and Barchester Oulton Park Care Home has been a very good choice. Only a resident for a couple of months but we can already see the physical and mental benefit to our mother. A great part of this is the high level of attentiveness from the staff.

We moved our mother into Barchester Oulton Park last year, and we cannot praise the staff enough, from auxiliary to management. They work together as a team and seem happy in their jobs as carers. The staff have many good qualities like kindness, attentiveness and empathy, and are always very respectful to both residents and their families. The home and its surroundings are inviting and very homely, it hasn't got such a 'clinical' feel to it as they have good carpets and home furnishings, complete with a cafe area with free tea, coffee and cakes, etc. I would highly recommend this care home for anyone's loved ones.

I've visited my friend's brother every week for a year and I've seen nothing but kindness and care from everyone. It's clean and it's a pleasure to visit and food is very good as I've eaten there, you can pay to eat with your family. I've got nothing but praise for staff.

Visited my cousin for the first time whilst away on holiday in the area. What a lovely welcome I had was shown the room, lovely clean, tidy odourless home, everyone was welcoming and made me feel welcome upon entering for my visit.

I have nothing but praise for the staff and management, they are all so friendly and polite, over my many visits to Oulton Park I have got to know the names of most of the staff and residents and it’s just like one big family, all the carers go above and beyond with there care, I would recommend Oulton Park to anyone who needs a care home.

Oulton Park is a care home that from the very start offers a very high level of care in a very professional manner. When putting our relative into care we were very nervous & anxious as a family but from our show round with the very lovely manager who showed us nothing but love care and support in a very professional manner. We were put at ease and from this minute onwards we knew that this was going to be a very safe home for our relative where she was going to be safe & cared for. The home offers a very professional manner the cleanliness of the home is at a very high manner and the food options and brilliant for choices & when it comes to the staff they do an outstanding job in the care they provide with personal touches throughout. From the time our relative came to the home until when she passed away, we could not thank the home overall for what they have done not only for the relative but for us as a family making the experience truly special. Thank you to the manager & all the staff.

I could not fault anything in the home. Staff were very helpful and caring. Comfort was a priority in my eyes and cleanliness. Highly recommend this home.

Whenever I visited my nan, her room was spotless and staff were always checking in on her to meet her needs. If you had any concerns, they dealt with these straight away. They also made sure that any visitors were ok too. If personal things had to be done then we were asked to leave the room to protect her dignity.

I am a local historian and today (30th January 2024), I attended, together with the Mayor of Lowestoft, an event to celebrate with the staff and residents the 20th anniversary of the Oulton Park Care home. It was a most enjoyable experience, and I was very impressed by the building, facilities, staff and accommodation. I also have a relative who is a resident here, and my family are very pleased with the care and kind attention she receives here. I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The home and rooms are always very clean and tidy. The staff always happy to go the extra mile to help.

On June 2nd 2023 my husband arrived at Oulton Park Care Home after a few weeks in the hospital. We were both welcomed as soon as we arrived by the staff. In the few weeks, my husband has been a resident, the staff have always been welcoming, helpful and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Oulton Park Care Home.
