We could not fault the staff at Fairholme. Mum was always clean, her hair done and in different clothes/pyjamas every day. The Manager kept me informed every step of the way cannot fault any of the communications. Sadly my mum lasted a fortnight there before she passed away despite the best efforts of the team. I would highly recommend Fairholme to anyone looking for a caring nursing home. Thank you.

A very high standard of care was provided to our father. The staff were kind, courteous and professional and were able to meet all our fathers complex needs. The facilities were clean and of a high standard. Excellent activities person also for entertainment. The team went above and beyond to celebrate his Birthday and Christmas and helped to create some wonderful memories for us all to cherish.
He loved the food and the choices on offer and the staff always made us tea and coffee when we visited.

In my professional capacity I have been involved with many nursing homes in the past and I can honestly say that this is one of the best I have been to.

My dear friend was in Fairholme Nursing Home for two years and three months and with all that time, there was nothing to change. She was always happy and treated by all with loving care, always praised her care and every staff member. We have always found the staff very friendly and helpful The motto of Fairholme is that they love the heart of any home and that is almost tangible as soon as you enter. The end of life care was exceptional, with great attention to detail. My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of them.

From the moment my grandmother was admitted to Fairholme, we knew she would love it. She is always so happy and well looked after. The staff are so friendly and always welcoming and the home is always so clean and seems to have a happy atmosphere.

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to visit much because of Covid, but we are so grateful for all the care she is receiving and rest easy knowing she is happy and in such 'loving hands'.

Throughout this difficult time, staff have been kind and supportive. I know my mother is in good hands. I have had FaceTimes, and Mum is always happy. I've been delighted with the care shown to both my mother and me. The staff are second to none.

My mother was admitted for end of life care in 2016 and lived for another three and a half years. Her mobility was very poor, and her dementia worsened, but she was looked after superbly by all the carers, even when she became very difficult in her last eighteen months. The staff at Fairholme felt like an extended family. The manager is superb.

My mother was moved from hospital to Fairholme for end of life care. She received the best care and was treated with respect and dignity. We weren't allowed to visit at first because of COVID-19 when it became obvious she was deteriorating and was allowed to visit with PPE. My family and I were given full support at all times.

Fairholme Nursing Home is superb. From the moment we entered this care home, we knew it was where we wanted my father to be. All the staff are very caring to all residents and spend time with them accordingly. Staff communicated with us regularly. We were very impressed with the entertainment on offer, never forgetting my father, upstairs in his room if he wasn't well enough to go down to the dayroom. My father was treated with dignity and respect at all times.

We're so grateful to all staff who made my father's last days as comfortable as possible.

My mum was moved from a local hospital to Fairholme for end of life care. After suffering a series of strokes earlier this year, at age 85. The staff and managers went out of their way to provide comfort and love for Mum and the family who visited her. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though Mum was only there for 5 days before she passed, we were encouraged to bring in pictures, ornaments, flowers, and even bedding to make Mum feel at home. I stay with Mum on the last night and held her hand as she slipped away - the staff were wonderful and ensured we had privacy and dignity. I cannot thank Fairholme enough and thoroughly recommend the home.

I cannot recommend Fairholme highly enough. Mum only stayed there for 3 months as her health deteriorated rapidly until she passed away but I can honestly say I wouldn't have wanted her to be anywhere else. All the staff were wonderful. They were caring, compassionate and respectful at all times. The care level they give is amazing and it was a joy to go there, even though it was only for a short time. All the staff were aware of her illness and health issues and no-one could have been more helpful.

From the moment it became apparent that my mother had to go into care, I contacted the home and they confirmed they had a vacancy and would consider having my mother as a resident. A qualified member of staff visited us and spoke to my mother, asking her questions in a gentle and quiet manner and gaining her confidence. She explained to my mother in great detail what to expect on becoming a resident in the home and confirming my mother was happy to go there. Within two days my mother was admitted to the house. The same member of staff greeted us on our arrival and showed us to the room my mother would occupy. My mother accepted this and after a few days - in spite of a few times my mother became a little agitated, with the help of the staff she settled in. Nothing was too much trouble - staff kind, patient and helpful. Very kind to family members and reassuring should there be any queries. A good, hard-working team.

Fairholme is amazing, such friendly staff and residents. The staff bend over backwards to help residents and their family. My one wish was to have my Grandad at my wedding to give me away, but he was too unwell to leave the home, so Fairholme organised for us to have a vow renewal so Grandad could walk me down the aisle. They made my wedding day special.

At Fairfield Holme, all the staff decorated a room, arranged a vicar so that my Dad could walk her down the aisle to meet my daughter and husband to bless their wedding. All the residents loved my daughter all dressed in wedding attire. My Dad had a member of staff walk behind in case of a fall. All the staff were absolutely amazing with all the work that went into the ceremony etc. It was the first nursing home to have a wedding in.
